  • Accessing the Atlassian Crowd SOAP API with Suds (python SOAP library)

    - by SeanOC
Has anybody had any recent success with accessing the Crowd SOAP API via the Suds Python library? I've found a few people successfully doing it in the past but Atlassian seems to have changed their WSDL since then to make the existing advice not entirely helpful. Below is the simplest example I've been trying: from suds.client import Client url = 'https://crowd.hugeinc.com/services/SecurityServer?wsdl' client = Client(url) Unfortunately that generates the following error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<input>", line 1, in <module> File "/Users/soconnor/.virtualenvs/hugeface/lib/python2.6/site-packages/suds/client.py", line 116, in __init__ sd = ServiceDefinition(self.wsdl, s) File "/Users/soconnor/.virtualenvs/hugeface/lib/python2.6/site-packages/suds/servicedefinition.py", line 58, in __init__ self.paramtypes() File "/Users/soconnor/.virtualenvs/hugeface/lib/python2.6/site-packages/suds/servicedefinition.py", line 137, in paramtypes item = (pd[1], pd[1].resolve()) File "/Users/soconnor/.virtualenvs/hugeface/lib/python2.6/site-packages/suds/xsd/sxbasic.py", line 63, in resolve raise TypeNotFound(qref) TypeNotFound: Type not found: '(AuthenticatedToken, http://authentication.integration.crowd.atlassian.com, )' I've tried to both binding and doctors to fix this problem to no avail. Neither approach resulted in any change. Any further recommendations or suggestions would be incredibly helpful.

  • WCF push to client through firewall?

    - by Sire
See also How does a WCF server inform a WCF client about changes? (Better solution then simple polling, e.g. Coment or long polling) I need to use push-technology with WCF through client firewalls. This must be a common problem, and I know for a fact it works in theory (see links below), but I have failed to get it working, and I haven't been able to find a code sample that demonstrates it. Requirements: WCF Clients connects to server through tcp port 80 (netTcpBinding). Server pushes back information at irregular intervals (1 min to several hours). Users should not have to configure their firewalls, server pushes must pass through firewalls that have all inbound ports closed. TCP duplex on the same connection is needed for this, a dual binding does not work since a port has to be opened on the client firewall. Clients sends heartbeats to server at regular intervals (perhaps every 15 mins) so server knows client is still alive. Server is IIS7 with WAS. The solution seems to be duplex netTcpBinding. Based on this information: WCF through firewalls and NATs Keeping connections open in IIS But I have yet to find a code sample that works.. I've tried combining the "Duplex" and "TcpActivation" samples from Microsoft's WCF Samples without any luck. Please can someone point me to example code that works, or build a small sample app. Thanks a lot!

  • How to retrieve TextBlock from DataGridColumnHeader HeaderStyle in Silverlight

    - by Xin
As in Silverlight I can't bind directly to a DataGridColumn's property, in order to dynamically change the text of the column header, I have to write the following code using HeaderStyle. <data:DataGridTextColumn.HeaderStyle> <Style TargetType="dataprimitives:DataGridColumnHeader"> <Setter Property="ContentTemplate"> <Setter.Value> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Resource.ClientName, Mode=OneWay}"/> </DataTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> </data:DataGridTextColumn.HeaderStyle> </data:DataGridTextColumn> My problem is that now I need to get the Name of the TextBlock from grid.Columns[index]. Is there any way I can do this? I tired to use VisualTreeHelper but since DataGridColumn is not a FrameworkElement it will throw me an error... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Xin

  • jQuery select change/click problem - change doesn't work in IE, click doesn't work in Chrome

    - by dan727
As the title says, I have a problem with binding to a change in a dropdown select list - it seems that "change" doesn't work with IE(7 or 8), so when I try the alternative and use a "click" event, it works in IE but doesn't work in Chrome! Am I missing something obvious here? Here's my code: //event handler for showing hidden form elements (also ensures only relevant hidden els shown) //IE needs click event instead of change $('.select_change').live("change", function(){ //check if value is other if ($(this).val() == 'other') $(this).parent().find(".hidden").show(); //if user changes select value from other then hide input if ($(this).val() != 'other') $(this).parent().find(".hidden").hide(); return false; }); The dropdown HTML is as follows: <select id="title" name="title" class="validate[required, funcCall[validateNotDefault]] select_change" > <option value="default" selected="selected">Please choose from options</option> <option value="yellow">Yellow</option> <option value="black">Black</option> <option value="chocoloate">Chocolate</option> <option value="other">Other</option> </select>

  • WPF DATAGRID CELL CONTENTS ALIGNMENT

    - by Ulhas Tuscano
    Hi, I have a WPF DataGrid control I am binding the objects of class Customer to DataGrid Rows using ObservableCollection at run time. I have set MinRowHeight="100" & I want the rows of DataGrid should be HorizontallyAligned at Center & Vertically at Left. Setting DataGrid properties VerticalContentAlignment="Center" HorizontalContentAlignment="Center" doesn't help. Code :--- System.Collections.ObjectModel.ObservableCollection cust1 = new System.Collections.ObjectModel.ObservableCollection { new Customer{FirstName="Ulhas",LastName="TUSCANO",IsMember = true ,Email="[email protected]",Status=OrderStatus.Processing }, new Customer{FirstName="Neville",LastName="TUSCANO",IsMember = true ,Email="[email protected]",Status=OrderStatus.Received }, new Customer{FirstName="Pascoal",LastName="TUSCANO",IsMember = true ,Email="[email protected]",Status=OrderStatus.None }, new Customer{FirstName="Mary",LastName="TUSCANO",IsMember = true ,Email="[email protected]",Status=OrderStatus.Received }, new Customer{FirstName="Mary",LastName="TUSCANO",IsMember = true ,Email="[email protected]",Status=OrderStatus.Received }, new Customer{FirstName="Mary",LastName="TUSCANO",IsMember = true ,Email="[email protected]",Status=OrderStatus.Received }, }; dataGrid1.ItemsSource = cust1; public class Customer { public string FirstName{get;set;} public string LastName { get; set; } public string Email { get; set; } public bool IsMember { get; set; } public OrderStatus Status { get; set; } } Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thanx

  • Html Select List: why would onchange be called twice?

    - by Mark Redman
I have a page with a select list (ASP.NET MVC Page) The select list and onchange event specified like this: <%=Html.DropDownList("CompanyID", Model.CompanySelectList, "(select company)", new { @class = "data-entry-field", @onchange = "companySelectListChanged()" })%> The companySelectListChanged function is getting called twice? I am using the nifty code in this question to get the caller. both times the caller is the onchange event, however if i look at the callers caller using: arguments.callee.caller.caller the first call returns some system code as the caller (i presume) and the second call returns undefined. I am checking for undefined to only react once to onchange, but this doesnt seem ideal, whcy would onchange be called twice? UPDATE: ok, found the culprit! ...apart from me :-) but the issue of calling the companySelectListChanged function twice still stands. The onchange event is set directly on the select as mentioned. This calls the companySelectListChanged function. ..notice the 'data-entry-field' class, now in a separate linked javascript file a change event on all fields with this class is bound to a function that changes the colour of the save button. This means there is two events on the onchange, but the companySelectListChanged is called twice? The additional binding is set as follows: $('.data-entry-field').bind('keypress keyup change', function (e) { highLightSaveButtons(); }); Assuming its possible to have 2 change events on the select list, its would assume that setting keypress & keyup events may be breaking something? Any ideas?

  • WCF/MSMQ Transport Security with Certificates

    - by user104295
Hi there, my goal is to secure the communication between MSMQ Queue Managers – I don’t want unknown clients sending messages to my MSMQ server. I have spent many hours now trying to get Transport security working for the net.msmq binding in WCF, where MSMQ is in Workgroup mode and the client and server do not have Active Directory… so I’m using certificates. I have created a new X.509 certificate, called Kristan and put it into the “Trusted people” store on the server and into the My store of Current User of the client. The error I’m getting is: An error occurred while sending to the queue: Unrecognized error -1072824272 (0xc00e0030).Ensure that MSMQ is installed and running. If you are sending to a local queue, ensure the queue exists with the required access mode and authorization. Using smartsniff, I see that there’s no attempted connection with the remote MSMQ, however, it’s an error probably coming from the local queue manager. The stack trace is: at System.ServiceModel.Channels.MsmqOutputChannel.OnSend(Message message, TimeSpan timeout) at System.ServiceModel.Channels.OutputChannel.Send(Message message, TimeSpan timeout) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.OutputChannelBinder.Send(Message message, TimeSpan timeout) at System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel.Call(String action, Boolean oneway, ProxyOperationRuntime operation, Object[] ins, Object[] outs, TimeSpan timeout) at System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannelProxy.InvokeService(IMethodCallMessage methodCall, ProxyOperationRuntime operation) at System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannelProxy.Invoke(IMessage message) The code:- EndpointAddress endpointAddress = new EndpointAddress(new Uri(endPointAddress)); NetMsmqBinding clientBinding = new NetMsmqBinding(); clientBinding.Security.Mode = NetMsmqSecurityMode.Transport; clientBinding.Security.Transport.MsmqAuthenticationMode = MsmqAuthenticationMode.Certificate; clientBinding.Security.Transport.MsmqProtectionLevel = System.Net.Security.ProtectionLevel.Sign; clientBinding.ExactlyOnce = false; clientBinding.UseActiveDirectory = false; // start new var channelFactory = new ChannelFactory<IAsyncImportApi>(clientBinding, endpointAddress); channelFactory.Credentials.ClientCertificate.SetCertificate("CN=Kristan", StoreLocation.CurrentUser, StoreName. My); The queue is flagged as ‘Authenticated’ on the server. I have checked the effect of this and if I turn off all security in the client send, then I get ‘Signature is invalid’ – which is understandable and shows that it’s definitely looking for a sig. Are there are special ports that I need to check are open for cert-based msmq auth? thanks Kris

  • Selection Highlight in NSCollectionView

    - by Hooligancat
On some occasions my head just hurts from banging it against the Cocoa wall. Today is one of those days. I have a working NSCollectionView with one minor, but critical, exception. Getting and highlighting the selected item within the collection. I've had all this working prior to Snow Leopard, but something appears to have changed and I can't quite place my finger on it, so I took my NSCollectionView right back to a basic test and followed Apple's documentation for creating an NSCollectionView here: http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/DOCUMENTATION/Cocoa/Conceptual/CollectionViews/Introduction/Introduction.html The collection view works fine following the quick start guide. However, this guide doesn't discuss selection other than "There are such features as incorporating image views, setting objects as selectable or not selectable and changing colors if they are selected". Using this as an example I went to the next step of binding the Array Controller to the NSCollectionView with the controller key selectionIndexes, thinking that this would bind any selection I make between the NSCollectionView and the array controller and thus firing off a KVO notification. I also set the NSCollectionView to be selectable in IB. There appears to be no selection delegate for NSCollectionView and unlike most Cocoa UI views, there appears to be no default selected highlight. So my problem really comes down to a related issue, but two distinct questions. How do I capture a selection of an item? How do I show a highlight of an item? NSCollectionView's programming guides seem to be few and far between and most searches via Google appear to pull up pre-Snow Leopard implementations, or use the view in a separate XIB file. For the latter (separate XIB file for the view), I don't see why this should be a pre-requisite otherwise I would have suspected that Apple would not have included the view in the same bundle as the collection view item. I know this is going to be a "can't see the wood for the trees" issue - so I'm prepared for the "doh!" moment. As usual, any and all help much appreciated.

  • Extjs DataView ArrayStore problem

  • C# - Get values of static properties from static class

    - by JamesW
I'm trying to loop through some static properties in a simple static class in order to populate a combo box with their values, but am having difficulties. Here is the simple class: public static MyStaticClass() { public static string property1 = "NumberOne"; public static string property2 = "NumberTwo"; public static string property3 = "NumberThree"; } ... and the code attempting to retrieve the values: Type myType = typeof(MyStaticClass); PropertyInfo[] properties = myType.GetProperties( BindingFlags.Public | BindingFlags.Static | BindingFlags.DeclaredOnly); foreach (PropertyInfo property in properties) { MyComboBox.Items.Add(property.GetValue(myType, null).ToString()); } If I don't supply any binding flags then I get about 57 properties including things like System.Reflection.Module Module and all sorts of other inherited things I don't care about. My 3 declared properties are not present. If I supply various combinations of other flags then it always returns 0 properties. Great. Does it matter that my static class is actually declared within another non-static class? Please help! What am I doing wrong?

  • Silverlight 4: How to find source UI element from contextmenu's menuitem_click?

    - by funwithcoding
I have a datagrid and I added silverlight 4 toolkit contextmenu to textbox in datagrid as follows. When users right click on the textbox, contextmenu is being displayed. When users click the menu item with Header "Test", "MenuItem_Click" is getting executed. Now I want to access the textbox from the MenuItem_Click and modify its properties like background etc. Is there anyway to find textbox element(which is contextmenu's parent) from MenuItem_Click event? It appears to me that I am missing something very simple. <my:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBox Text="{Binding AcctId}" Style="{StaticResource documentTextBoxStyle}" ToolTipService.ToolTip="Right Click to modify parameters" > <toolkit:ContextMenuService.ContextMenu > <toolkit:ContextMenu > <toolkit:MenuItem Header="Test" Click="MenuItem_Click"/> </toolkit:ContextMenu> </toolkit:ContextMenuService.ContextMenu> </TextBox> </DataTemplate>

  • Missing functions in ruby 1.8

    - by Adrian
I have a ruby gem that I developed with ruby 1.9, and it works. With ruby 1.8, though, it says this when I try to run it: dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _RBIGNUM_SIGN Referenced from: /Users/Adrian/Desktop/num_to_bytes/ext/num_to_bytes/num_to_bytes.bundle Expected in: flat namespace dyld: Symbol not found: _RBIGNUM_SIGN Referenced from: /Users/Adrian/Desktop/num_to_bytes/ext/num_to_bytes/num_to_bytes.bundle Expected in: flat namespace Trace/BPT trap If I comment out the line that uses RBIGNUM_SIGN, it complains about other functions like rb_big_modulo. Some things work, like NUM2LONG. Here are some things I have tried: In http://github.com/ruby/ruby/blob/ruby_1_8_7/ruby.h, RBIGNUM_SIGN is defined. But in all versions of ruby I have tried, it is not there. I guessed that maybe it was defined in a different .h file. Knowing that Hpricot works with 1.8, I looked at http://github.com/hpricot/hpricot/blob/master/ext/hpricot_scan/hpricot_scan.h. It doesn't include any other files that #define it. Putting things like extern VALUE rb_big_modulo(VALUE x); at the beginning of my extension don't help. Using a brand new Ubuntu installation, I apt-getted ruby, tried to install the gem, and it didn't work either. Putting have_library 'ruby', 'rb_big_modulo' in my extconf.rb didn't work. As you can probably see, I am getting desperate (after weeks of trying things!). So, how can I get this to work? Here is the gem: http://rubygems.org/gems/num_to_bytes Here is the source: http://gist.github.com/404584

  • MVVM Madness: Commands

    - by JP
I like MVVM. I don't love it, but like it. Most of it makes sense. But, I keep reading articles that encourage you to write a lot of code so that you can write XAML and don't have to write any code in the code-behind. Let me give you an example. Recently I wanted to hookup a command in my ViewModel to a ListView MouseDoubleClickEvent. I wasn't quite sure how to do this. Fortunately, Google has answers for everything. I found the following articles: http://blog.functionalfun.net/2008/09/hooking-up-commands-to-events-in-wpf.html http://joyfulwpf.blogspot.com/2009/05/mvvm-invoking-command-on-attached-event.html http://sachabarber.net/?p=514 http://geekswithblogs.net/HouseOfBilz/archive/2009/08/27/adventures-in-mvvm-ndash-binding-commands-to-any-event.aspx http://marlongrech.wordpress.com/2008/12/13/attachedcommandbehavior-v2-aka-acb/ While the solutions were helpful in my understanding of commands, there were problems. Some of the aforementioned solutions rendered the WPF designer unusable because of a common hack of appending "Internal" after a dependency property; the WPF designer can't find it, but the CLR can. Some of the solutions didn't allow multiple commands to the same control. Some of the solutions didn't allow parameters. After experimenting for a few hours I just decided to do this: private void ListView_MouseDoubleClick(object sender, MouseButtonEventArgs e) { ListView lv = sender as ListView; MyViewModel vm = this.DataContext as MyViewModel; vm.DoSomethingCommand.Execute(lv.SelectedItem); } So, MVVM purists, please tell me what's wrong with this? I can still Unit test my command. This seems very practical, but seems to violate the guideline of "ZOMG... you have code in your code-behind!!!!" Please share your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

  • Silverlight ComboBox Attached Behavior

    - by Mark Cooper
I am trying to create an attached behavior that can be applied to a Silverlight ComboBox. My behavior is this: using System.Windows.Controls; using System.Windows; using System.Windows.Controls.Primitives; namespace AttachedBehaviours { public class ConfirmChangeBehaviour { public static bool GetConfirmChange(Selector cmb) { return (bool)cmb.GetValue(ConfirmChangeProperty); } public static void SetConfirmChange(Selector cmb, bool value) { cmb.SetValue(ConfirmChangeProperty, value); } public static readonly DependencyProperty ConfirmChangeProperty = DependencyProperty.RegisterAttached("ConfirmChange", typeof(bool), typeof(Selector), new PropertyMetadata(true, ConfirmChangeChanged)); public static void ConfirmChangeChanged(DependencyObject d, DependencyPropertyChangedEventArgs args) { Selector instance = d as Selector; if (args.NewValue is bool == false) return; if ((bool)args.NewValue) instance.SelectionChanged += OnSelectorSelectionChanged; else instance.SelectionChanged -= OnSelectorSelectionChanged; } static void OnSelectorSelectionChanged(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { Selector item = e.OriginalSource as Selector; MessageBox.Show("Unsaved changes. Are you sure you want to change teams?"); } } } This is used in XAML as this: <UserControl x:Class="AttachedBehaviours.MainPage" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" xmlns:this="clr-namespace:AttachedBehaviours" mc:Ignorable="d"> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot"> <StackPanel> <ComboBox ItemsSource="{Binding Teams}" this:ConfirmChangeBehaviour.ConfirmChange="true" > </ComboBox> </StackPanel> </Grid> </UserControl> I am getting an error: Unknown attribute ConfirmChangeBehaviour.ConfirmChange on element ComboBox. [Line: 13 Position: 65] Intellisense is picking up the behavior, why is this failing at runtime? Thanks, Mark EDIT: Register() changed to RegisterAttached(). Same error appears.

  • Chart controls for ASP.NET

    - by tolism7
I am looking people's opinion and experience on using chart controls within an ASP.NET application (web forms or MVC) primarily but also in any kind of project. I am currently doing my research and I have a pretty big list of controls to evaluate. My list includes (in no particular order): ASP.NET controls: DevExpress XtraCharts (http://demos.devexpress.com/XtraChartsDemos/) Dundas Chart for .NET (http://www.dundas.com/) Telerik RadChart for ASP.NET AJAX (http://www.telerik.com/) ComponentArt Charting & Visualization for ASP.NET (http://www.componentart.com/) Infragistics WebChart (http://www.infragistics.com/dotnet/netadvantage/aspnet.aspx#Overview) .net Charting (http://www.dotnetcharting.com/) Chart Control for .Net Framework (Microsoft's) (http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2008/11/24/new-asp-net-charting-control-lt-asp-chart-runat-quot-server-quot-gt.aspx) Flash controls: FusionCharts v3 (http://www.fusioncharts.com/) XML/SWF Charts (http://www.maani.us/xml%5Fcharts/index.php) amCharts (http://www.amcharts.com/) AnyChart (http://www.anychart.com/home/) Javascript: Flot (http://code.google.com/p/flot/) Flotr (http://solutoire.com/flotr/) jqPlot (http://www.jqplot.com/index.php) (If I missed some that worth to be compared against the above please let me know.) What I am looking is opinions on using any of the above so I can form my own and help others do the same, based on what I read here. I do not care which one is better. What I care for is why someone likes one of the above and what do these controls offer as a distinct advantage. I am interested in developer's opinion and I would like to find out which things are difficult doing with any of the above controls and which things are easy to achieve. AJAX compatibility (build in to the controls but also manual), ASP.NET compatibility, input capabilities, data binding options, performance, how much code does one need to write in order to create a chart, are some of the things that I would want to read about. I have already done my research on StackOverflow for relevant questions but there is nothing on the level of detail that I would want to read in order to make a responsible decision.

  • WCF Mono - BasicHttpBinding with SSL

    - by TheNextman
I'm trying to port an existing WCF client application to run on Linux under Mono. Right now I'm testing everything out, figuring out what works on Mono and what doesn't. The client makes a super simple call over basicHttpBinding. It works great, until I enable SSL (that is, specify BasicHttpSecurityMode.Transport in the binding). Running on .NET in Windows, it works great Running on Mono on Ubuntu 9.10 / Mono 2.6 I get the following error: Exception in async operation: System.Net.WebException: Error getting response stream (Write: The authentication or decryption has failed.): SendFailure --- System.IO.IOException: The authentication or decryption has failed. --- Mono.Security.Protocol.Tls.TlsException: Invalid certificate received from server. Error code: 0xffffffff800b010a I've read the Mono security FAQ here: http://www.mono-project.com/FAQ:_Security; however the SSL certificate on the server is from a root CA (a purchased certificate) - issued by Equifax Secure Certificate Authority. I ran the TlsTest tool on the Ubuntu install against the .svc URL and there are no problems/errors. Also I can hit the service fine in Firefox (no security warnings). What am I missing? Thanks in advance, Richard

  • Parsing and getting specific values from CSV string

    - by Amit Ranjan
I am having a string in CSV format. Please see my earlier question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2865861/parsing-csv-string-and-binding-it-to-listbox I can add new values to it by some mechanism. Everything will be same except the new values will have numeric part = 0. Take example I have this exsiting CSV string 1 , abc.txt , 2 , def.doc , 3 , flyaway.txt Now by some mechanism i added two more files Superman.txt and Spiderman.txt to the existing string. Now it became 1 , abc.txt , 2 , def.doc , 3 , flyaway.txt, 0, Superman.txt, 0 , Spiderman.txt What i am doing here is that this csv string is paased into SP where its splitted and inserted to db. So for inserting I have to take the files with numeric part 0 only rest will be omiited .Which will be further then converted into CSV string Array will look like this str[0]="1" str[1]="abc.txt" str[2]="2" str[3]="def.doc " str[4]="3" str[5]="flyaway.txt" str[6]="0" str[7]="Superman.txt" str[8]="0" str[9]="Spiderman.txt" So at last i want to say my input will be 1 , abc.txt , 2 , def.doc , 3 , flyaway.txt, 0, Superman.txt, 0 , Spiderman.txt Desired Output: 0, Superman.txt, 0 , Spiderman.txt

  • WPF Control validation

    - by Jon
Hi all, I'm developing a WPF GUI framework and have had bad experiences with two way binding and lots of un-needed events being fire(mainly in Flex) so I have gone down the route of having bindings (string that represent object paths) in my controls. When a view is requested to be displayed the controller loads the view, and gets the needed entities (using the bindings) from the DB and populates the controls with the correct values. This has a number of advantages i.e. lazy loading, default undo behaviour etc. When the data in the view needs to be saved the view is passed back to the controller again which basically does the reserve i.e. re-populates the entities from the view if values have changed. However, I have run into problems when I try and validate the components. Each entity has attributes on its properties that define validation rules which the controller can access easily and validate the data from the view against it. The actual validation of data is fine. The problem comes when I want the GUI control to display error validation information. It I try changing the style I get errors saying styles cannot be changed once in use. Is the a way in c# to fire off the normal WPF validation mechanism and just proved it with the validaiton errors the controller has found? Thanks in advance Jon

  • Why is WCF Stream response getting corrupted on write to disk?

    - by Alvin S
I am wanting to write a WCF web service that can send files over the wire to the client. So I have one setup that sends a Stream response. Here is my code on the client: private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { string filename = System.Environment.CurrentDirectory + "\\Picture.jpg"; if (File.Exists(filename)) File.Delete(filename); StreamServiceClient client = new StreamServiceClient(); int length = 256; byte[] buffer = new byte[length]; FileStream sink = new FileStream(filename, FileMode.CreateNew, FileAccess.Write); Stream source = client.GetData(); int bytesRead; while ((bytesRead = source.Read(buffer,0,length))> 0) { sink.Write(buffer,0,length); } source.Close(); sink.Close(); MessageBox.Show("All done"); } Everything processes fine with no errors or exceptions. The problem is that the .jpg file that is getting transferred is reported as being "corrupted or too large" when I open it. What am I doing wrong? On the server side, here is the method that is sending the file. public Stream GetData() { string filename = Environment.CurrentDirectory+"\\Chrysanthemum.jpg"; FileStream myfile = File.OpenRead(filename); return myfile; } I have the server configured with basicHttp binding with Transfermode.StreamedResponse.

  • WPF DataGrid HeaderTemplate Mysterious Padding

    - by Jake Wharton
I am placing a single button with an image in the header of a column of a DataGrid. The cell template is also just a simple button with an image. <my:DataGridTemplateColumn> <my:DataGridTemplateColumn.HeaderTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Button ToolTip="Add New Template" Name="AddNewTemplate" Click="AddNewTemplate_Click"> <Image Source="../Resources/add.png"/> </Button> </DataTemplate> </my:DataGridTemplateColumn.HeaderTemplate> <my:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Button ToolTip="Edit Template" Name="EditTemplate" Click="EditTemplate_Click" Tag="{Binding}"> <Image Source="../Resources/pencil.png"/> </Button> </DataTemplate> </my:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> </my:DataGridTemplateColumn> When rendered, the header has approximately 10-15px of padding on the right side only which causes the cells to obviously render at that width leaving the cell button having empty space on both sides. Being a pixel-perfectionist this annoys the hell out of me. I had initially thought that it was space for the arrows displayed when sorted but I have sorting disabled on both the entire DataGrid and explicitly on the column. Here's a image: I assume this is padding form whatever is the parent element of the button. Does anyone know a way to eliminate it?

  • nHibernate, Automapping and Chained Abstract Classes

    - by Mr Snuffle
I'm having some trouble using nHibernate, automapping and a class structure using multiple chains of abstract classes It's something akin to this public abstract class AbstractClassA {} public abstract class AbstractClassB : AbstractClassA {} public class ClassA : AbstractClassB {} When I attempt to build these mappings, I receive the following error "FluentNHibernate.Cfg.FluentConfigurationException was unhandled Message: An invalid or incomplete configuration was used while creating a SessionFactory. Check PotentialReasons collection, and InnerException for more detail. Database was not configured through Database method." However, if I remove the abstract keyword from AbstractClassB, everything works fine. The problem only occurs when I have more than one abstract class in the class hierarchy. I've manually configured the automapping to include both AbstractClassA and AbstractClassB using the following binding class public class BindItemBases : IManualBinding { public void Bind(FluentNHibernate.Automapping.AutoPersistenceModel model) { model.IncludeBase<AbstractClassA>(); model.IncludeBase<AbstractClassB>(); } } I've had to do a bit of hackery to get around this, but there must be a better way to get this working. Surely nHibernate supports something like this, I just haven't figured out how to configure it right. Cheers, James

  • WPF ToolTip Style with dynamic LayoutTransform

    - by NoOne
I have an app that scales it's UI and I want to scale the ToolTips with it. I have tried doing this: <Style TargetType="{x:Type ToolTip}"> <Setter Property="LayoutTransform" Value="{DynamicResource scaleTransf}"/> ... </Style> ...where scaleTransf is a resource that I change via code: Application.Current.Resources["scaleTransf"] = new ScaleTransform(...); Most of the ToolTips do get scaled in size but some of them that are created by C# code don't get scaled. I've checked and it seems that I don't set their Style or LayoutTransform by code, so I don't really understand what is going wrong... Moreover, I have the impression that the above XAML code worked fine a few days ago. :( Is there sth I can do to make it work all the time without setting the LayoutTransform in code-behind? EDIT : The ToolTips that don't change scale are the ones that have become visible before. EDIT2 : Extra code: <ScaleTransform x:Key="scaleTransf" ScaleX="1" ScaleY="1"/> I have also tried this: Application.Current.Resources.Remove("scaleTransf"); Application.Current.Resources.Add("scaleTransf", new ScaleTransform(val, val)); EDIT3 : My attempt to solve this using a DependencyProperty: In MainWindow.xaml.cs : public static readonly DependencyProperty TransformToApplyProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("TransformToApply", typeof(Transform), typeof(MainWindow)); public Transform TransformToApply { get { return (Transform)this.GetValue(TransformToApplyProperty); } } Somewhere in MainWindow, in response to a user input: this.SetValue(TransformToApplyProperty, new ScaleTransform(val, val)); XAML Style: <Style TargetType="{x:Type ToolTip}"> <Setter Property="LayoutTransform" Value="{Binding TransformToApply, ElementName=MainWindow}"/> ... Using this code, not a single one of the ToolTips seem to scale accordingly.

  • Tail-recursive merge sort in OCaml

    - by CFP
    Hello world! I’m trying to implement a tail-recursive list-sorting function in OCaml, and I’ve come up with the following code: let tailrec_merge_sort l = let split l = let rec _split source left right = match source with | [] -> (left, right) | head :: tail -> _split tail right (head :: left) in _split l [] [] in let merge l1 l2 = let rec _merge l1 l2 result = match l1, l2 with | [], [] -> result | [], h :: t | h :: t, [] -> _merge [] t (h :: result) | h1 :: t1, h2 :: t2 -> if h1 < h2 then _merge t1 l2 (h1 :: result) else _merge l1 t2 (h2 :: result) in List.rev (_merge l1 l2 []) in let rec sort = function | [] -> [] | [a] -> [a] | list -> let left, right = split list in merge (sort left) (sort right) in sort l ;; Yet it seems that it is not actually tail-recursive, since I encounter a "Stack overflow during evaluation (looping recursion?)" error. Could you please help me spot the non tail-recursive call in this code? I've searched quite a lot, without finding it. Cout it be the let binding in the sort function? Thanks a lot, CFP.
