WCF service is not getting called

I have a web solution and I have a WCF service project inside it. We need to support "cookieless". so in the web.config, it's set as <sessionState mode="SQLServer" sqlConnectionString="Data Source=ds;Initial Catalog=db;User Id=uid;Password=pwd" allowCustomSqlDatabase="true" cookieless="true" timeout="720" regenerateExpiredSessionId="false"/> The WCF service will be supporting sessions, so we have also set "aspNetCompatibilityEnabled" to true in web.config. <serviceHostingEnvironment aspNetCompatibilityEnabled="true" multipleSiteBindingsEnabled="true"/> The service and interfaces are as follows, [ServiceContract(SessionMode=SessionMode.Allowed)] public interface ICDOCService { } [AspNetCompatibilityRequirements(RequirementsMode = AspNetCompatibilityRequirementsMode.Allowed)] public class CDOCService : ICDOCService { } The problem we are facing is we cannot access the service from any client application. ANT: ways to include libraries and license issues

I have been trying to use Ant to compile and ready a project for distribution. I have encountered several problems along the way that I have been finally able to solve but the solution leaves me very unsatisfied. First, let me explain the set-up of the project and its dependencies. I have a project, lets call it Primary which depends on a couple of libraries such as the fantastic Guava. It also depends on another project of mine, lets call it Secondary. The Secondary project also features some dependencies, for example, JDOM2. I have referenced the Jar I build with Ant in Primary. Furthermore, I believe that including these libraries as class files is bad practice as it could give rise to licensing issues while not packaging them and merely including them in a directory along the build Jar would most probably not (And if it would you could choose not to distribute them yourself). I think my inability to correctly assemble the class path, I always received NoClassDefFoundError for classes or libraries in the Primary project when launching Second's Jar, is that I am not very experienced with Ant. Would I require to specify a class path for both projects? Specifying the class path as . should have allowed me to simply add all dependencies to the same folder as Secondary's Jar, should it not?

Logcat error: "addView(View, LayoutParams) is not supported in AdapterView" in a ListView

I'm doing an aplication for Android and something I need is that it shows a list of all files and directories in the SD Card and it has to be able to move through the different directories. Should I be using the command pattern? Seems like a lot of work...

My Room class has a lot of methods I used before I decided to use the command pattern. Previously, I was invoking a lot of commands and now it seems I have to make a method in my roomParser class for every method. If I wanted to invoke say, setHotelCode I would have to create a method in roomParser that iterates through and invokes the method. RadioGroup onCheckedChanged function won't fire

First time/long time. My app keeps track of restaurant servers' shift sales to help them budget. In the activity that displays past shifts, I've created a RadioGroup under the ListView so the server can choose lunch, dinner, or both. I've implemented RadioGroup.onCheckedChangeListener, but onCheckChanged never gets called. I also tried an anonymous inner class as listener, same result. I tried to copy/modify code from this answer: http://stackoverflow.com/a/9595528 ...but when I added the @Override to the callback function, the Eclipse compiler gave me an error (not warning) that the method must override a superclass, and the quick fix was to remove the override. I'm pretty sure the signatures are correct, as they were made with Eclipse's autocomplete and implement methods facilities. I then followed instructions to move my java compiler from 1.5 to 1.6, and none of the above listed behavior seemed to change. Why does "return ERROR" only work with exceptions?

In the struts.xml I use: <result name="error">error</result> Then in my action I use: addActionError("ERROR RETURNED"); return ERROR; When I submit the form then it just goes to a blank page and does nothing. However, if I FORCE an exception to be thrown in the action then it goes to the error page and shows the ActionError message. So am I doing this wrong? If so, how should I tell struts to show an error page using "if statements" instead of relying solely on expensive try catches? A class meant for an alfresco behavior and its bean, how do they work and how are they deployed trough eclipse

(This is a partial repost of a question asked 10 days ago because only 1 part was answered(not included), I've rewritten it into a way better question and added 3 more tags) where do I put the DeleteAsset.class or why isn't it being found? I've put the compiled class from the bin of the workspace of eclipse into alfresco-4.2.c/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/com/openerp/behavior/ and right now it's giving me Error loading class [com.openerp.behavior.DeleteAsset] for bean with name 'deletionBehavior' defined in URL [file:/home/openerp/alfresco-4.2.c/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/cust??om-web-context.xml]: problem with class file or dependent class; nested exception is java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/openerp/behavior/DeleteAsset (wrong name: DeleteAsset) when I put it in there. MVC 2 View Layout CSS Control Layout

I'm new to a lot of what I'm trying to do with the development of a new MVC2 web application so this is a beginner question. I need to understand my options for control and content layout on a web page. I’m using MVC2 so I’m using Controllers, Views, ViewModels, and View Templates. What I need to spin up on…fast…is control the granular layout of controls and content on any particular view. Below I’ve pasted two examples of auto generated templates that illustrate my challenge. I see that layout is controlled by CSS in my Site.css document. In the first example I get a sequential flow of DisplayLabel and DisplayField. I prefer the adjacent layout of DisplayLabel on the same line as DisplayField produced from example 2. However, example 2 is too simple because the formatting is applied to the Label and the Field. I think the correct way to tackle this learning curve is Microsoft Expression but I don’t have personal bandwidth at the moment to tackle Expression. Can anyone point me to a resource that will expose me to lots of examples for CSS formatting? I have lots of syntax questions. For instance, I believe is referencing the Site.css but I can’t find a "display-label" section in Site.css. Using Joda DateTime as a Jersey parameter?

I'd like to use Joda's DateTime for query parameters in Jersey, but this isn't supported by Jersey out-of-the-box. I'm assuming that implementing an InjectableProvider is the proper way to add DateTime support. Can someone point me to a good implementation of an InjectableProvider for DateTime? Or is there an alternative approach worth recommending? (I'm aware I can convert from Date or String in my code, but this seems like a lesser solution). Thanks. Problem connecting to Hsqldb via Hibernate when running a Eclipse GWT project.

Hi, I'm trying to run a simple GWT project where I'm trying to do a simple persitence via hibernate to a HSQLDB database. The database I'm using I have been using for at least 2 years with several osgi applications without any problems. So all I done is reused the same configuration and added a simple object mapping file. The problem I have is that I get a socket creation error when ever I try to persist the object with in GWT jetty. I now the database is up and running, I can telnet to it, run OSGI projects that uses the same config with out problems. Django: What's an awesome plugin to maintain images in the admin?

I have an articles entry model and I have an excerpt and description field. If a user wants to post an image then I have a separate ImageField which has the default standard file browser. I've tried using django-filebrowser but I don't like the fact that it requires django-grappelli nor do I necessarily want a flash upload utility - can anyone recommend a tool where I can manage image uploads, and basically replace the file browse provided by django with an imagepicking browser? In the future I'd probably want it to handle image resizing and specify default image sizes for certain article types. Edit: I'm trying out adminfiles now but I'm having issues installing it. I grabbed it and added it to my python path, added it to INSTALLED_APPS, created the databases for it, uploaded an image. We all know that Mathematica is great, but it also often lacks critical functionality. What kind of external packages / tools / resources do you use with Mathematica? I'll edit (and invite anyone else to do so too) this main post to include resources which are focused on general applicability in scientific research and which as many people as possible will find useful. Feel free to contribute anything, even small code snippets (as I did below for a timing routine). Also, undocumented and useful features in Mathematica 7 and beyond you found yourself, or dug up from some paper/site are most welcome. Please include a short description or comment on why something is great or what utility it provides. Packages: LevelScheme is a package that greatly expands Mathematica's capability to produce good looking plots. I use it if not for anything else then for the much, much improved control over frame/axes ticks. David Park's Presentation Package ($50 - no charge for updates) Tools: MASH is Daniel Reeves's excellent perl script essentially providing scripting support for Mathematica 7. Using a sample from MDSN, I've gotten as far as trying to add the delegate, but after the call to the service binding, I get nothing back...no success or fail....nothing. Hi everyone, We have a java application ( Atlassian Bamboo) running on port 8085 on Windows 2003. It is accessile as http: //bamboo:8085. I am trying to setup reverse proxy for IIS6 using IIRF so content is accessible via http: //bamboo. It seems that I set it ip correctly, and I can retrieve Status page. This is how my IIRF.ini looks like: RewriteLog c:\temp\iirf RewriteLogLevel 2 StatusUrl /iirfStatus RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^bambooi$ [I] #This setup works #ProxyPass ^/(.*)$ http://othersite/$1 #This does not ProxyPass ^/(.*)$ http://bamboo:8085/$1 However when I type in http: //bamboo in IE, I get 'page cannot be displayed ' message. FF does not return anything at all. I made Wireshark network dump, selected 'follow TCPstream' and it seems like correct page is being retrieved.Why cannot I see it then? I also noticed that I can retrieve http: //bamboo/favicon.ico so I must be very close to the solution.. ContentType Issue -- Human is an idiot - Can't figure out how to tie the original model to a Content

Originally started here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2650181/django-in-query-as-a-string-result-invalid-literal-for-int-with-base-10 I have a number of apps within my site, currently working with a simple "Blog" app. I have developed a 'Favorite' app, easily enough, that leverages the ContentType framework in Django to allow me to have a 'favorite' of any type... trying to go the other way, however, I don't know what I'm doing, and can't find any examples for. I'll start off with the favorite model: favorite/models.py from django.db import models from django.contrib.contenttypes.models import ContentType from django.contrib.contenttypes import generic from django.contrib.auth.models import User class Favorite(models.Model): content_type = models.ForeignKey(ContentType) object_id = models.PositiveIntegerField() user = models.ForeignKey(User) content_object = generic.GenericForeignKey() class Admin: list_display = ('key', 'id', 'user') class Meta: unique_together = ("content_type", "object_id", "user") Now, that allows me to loop through the favorites (on a user's "favorites" page, for example) and get the associated blog objects via {{ favorite.content_object.title }}. What I want now, and can't figure out, is what I need to do to the blog model to allow me to have some tether to the favorite (so when it is displayed in a list it can be highlighted, for example).
