  I have a method, that puts something on the pasteboard. This method is called one of two ways, one, as an IBAction from a button, the other from another method which afterwards closes the application by doing: [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"sms:"]]; The problem arises only when the application is not closed using the home button, but is closed using the line above. When that happens, the pasteboard contents are lost. I assume this problem has something to do with the object being cleaned up improperly when it closes this way, but have no idea why it is doing that. I have even tried to intentionally leak the object that gets put on the pasteboard, but it still gets lost on the way out. • jQuery form wizard - named anchor links

  Hi Team, Using: http://home.aland.net/sundman/ to split a complex form in to 4 steps. As well as as the 'next, back and submit' form buttons, I have created a menu above the form: step 1, step 2, step 3, step 4 linking to the hash tags #: #, #1, #2, #3 so the visitor can decide which step they want to view / edit. This works fine in firefox, but in IE and Chrome it does not seem to work. Anyone have experience with hte jQuery history plugin that can tell me the best way to accomplish this? I would like to link to the form but it is in a password protected area and subject to our NDA. If need be I could try and replicate the issue with a form on our server and link here. Thanks, Jack

  Here is my dilemma, I have not been able to manipulate my data to a form fitting to jqgrid standards. This is my first time using the jqgrid and I've spent a lot of time reading up on it. • Thoughts on moving to Maven in an enterprise environment

  I'm interested in hearing from those who either A) use Maven in an enterprise environment or B) tried to use Maven in an enterprise environment. I work for a large company that is contemplating bringing in Maven into our environment. Currently we use OpenMake to build/merge and home-grown software to deploy code to 100+ servers running various platforms (eg. WAS and JBoss). OpenMake works fine for us however Maven does have some ideal features, most importantly being dependency management, but is it viable in a large environment? Also what headaches have/did you incur, if any, in maintaining a Maven environment. • Monodevelop: `Waiting for debugger to connect...`

  I am trying to debug this Mono desktop software in Monodevelop. I imported the SLN file, ran Build all with success, but when I press the Debug button I get this popup that stays waiting forever saying Waiting for debugger to connect...: The output says: User assembly '/home/nico/src/SparkleShare/SparkleShare/bin/SparkleShare.exe' is missing. Debugger will now debug all code, not just user code. Am I doing something wrong? Monodevelop 2.8.6.3 on Ubuntu 2012.04. Nothing special appears on the console with monodevelop -v -v -v. When I press Run instead of Debug, the app crashes immediately saying The application exited with code: 255, but I need Debug to find where the problem is. Note: It is not the same problem as this question, which is about MonoTouch waiting for a phone simulator... the suggestions over there are about the simulator or updating XCode... no simulator nor XCode here.

• ETW tracking from .net, user mode and driver

  Hi everyone, We have an application that parts of it are in .net, c++ usermode and C++ drivers. The application is divided into several executables that run on demand and communication with each other using LPC(the processes run in different sessions(winlogon)). Currently We have a home written logging service to which .net and c++ usermode communicate by sending LPC messages. The driver uses DbgPrint and is not always enabled, as it causes the code to run 30% slower(we have lots of logging). I want to have all the logs written in one place and preferably not writing the logger myself(I love log4cpp and log4net). The requirement is to write from all the executables and drivers into one place and to have minimal overhead. I have read that ETW is way to go, however I wasn't able to find already written logger that uses it like log4cpp or log4net. So basically my questions is, do you know if there is already implemented ETW appender for log4cpp and log4net I can use ?

• How do I mirror a SVN repository on CodePlex?

  I'm the creator (and so far, only developer) of a CodePlex project. I've writing it on my laptop, using a Subversion repository on my home network. Submitting my changes to CodePlex via the TeamServer interface is driving me crazy, and I'd really like a simple way of syncing my svn repos with CodePlex via there new SVN interface. svnsync or synmerge seem to be the way to go, but neither's instructions seem clear to a guy who's only ever used TortoiseSVN. And they seem to also seem need local access to the destination server (which clearly for CodePlex, is impossible) So, could someone give simple instructions how to do this?

  Google will now parse certain microdata (for example reviews) on your web pages and display the info in search results. They call this Rich Snippets I am wondering is this page specific or domain specific? I keep all my reviews on a separate review page thats linked to from the home page. But my review page itself is very unlikely to be displayed in a search result, more likely to be displayed is my homepage or product landing page. But being that the review microdata is not on these pages (but is on the website). I am wondering if the rich snippets will be shown for these pages?

Im' developing a system to manage documents and I need make an URL like this: routes.MapRoute("Documentos", "{controller}/{documentType}/{documento}/{action}/{id}", new { controller = "Home", documentType = "", documento = "", action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional }); and the app working an URL like theses: "Document/Administrative/Contract" - (Index action by default to list documents of type 'Contract') "Document/Administrative/Contract/New" - (new action in controller) "Document/Administrative/Contract/10" - (detail action in controller) "Document/Administrative/Contract/Edit/10" - (edit action in controller) Document would be a Controller, and Administrative would be just a description in url to identify that documents of 'Contract' is Administrative... So, My doubts is about my controllers and actions, How should be the signature of the methods of controller ? Need I make an Area called Documents to do this more easy ? PS: Sorry for my english! Small sample of my main page view: def main(request): #View for http://www.mysite.com/ name = Dog.objects.all()[0].full_name #this is a translated field return render_to_response("home.html", {"name" : name}) Entering http://www.mysite.com/ redirects me to http://www.mysite.com/ru/ and "name" variable gets russian localization. For now it's ok... But... Entering http://www.mysite.com/en/ shows me same russian loclized variable. During my experiments with debuger I've discovered: request.LANGUAGE_CODE is changing properly according to /en/ or /ru/ url suffix (thanx to localeurl) invoking multilingual.languages.set_default_language() makes "name" variable change loclization The question is: should I change language of django-multilingual to request.LANGUAGE_CODE in each of my view myself, or it must be solved automaticly and I've done something wrong?

• How do I set up one time password authentication?

  I have a home network which I access remotely quite a bit. But I'm worried about security. While I do have strong passwords, I'm worried that someone will acquire my password and use it to gain access. I heard about "one time passwords" and even got to use them at my university. We'd just press a button on a device (or run an application on a phone) and get a generated password that would work for the next minute or so. How can I set something like that up? Are there systems that are easy to use and set up? Has anyone played around with an SDK of one of these systems? Where can I get a starter kit from? EDIT: I'm running a mixed Linux and Windows network, and I'm vaguely hoping to use this for authenticating on both operating systems. (No, there's no domain controller, but I can set one up using Samba, I suppose.)
