ASP.NET MVC - Disable Html Helper control using boolean value from Model

I am outputting a textbox to the page using the Html helpers. I want to add the disabled attribute dynamically based on whether or not a boolean value in my model is true or false. The information above is absolutely useless unless I can see what the actual parsing problem was. In general, is there a way to set logs in Oracle to show parameters in parameterized query errors?

I've been thinking about using Markov techniques to restore missing information to natural language text. Restore mixed case to text in all caps Restore accents / diacritics to languages which should have them but have been converted to plain ASCII Convert rough phonetic transcriptions back into native alphabets That seems to be in order of least difficult to most difficult. Basically the problem is resolving ambiguities based on context. I can use Wiktionary as a dictionary and Wikipedia as a corpus using n-grams and Markov chains to resolve the ambiguities. Am I on the right track? Are there already some services, libraries, or tools for this sort of thing? Preventing focus on next form element after showing alert using JQuery

I have some text inputs which I'm validating when a user tabs to the next one. I would like the focus to stay on a problematic input after showing an alert. I can't seem to nail down the correct syntax to have JQuery do this. Instead the following code shows the alert then focuses on the next text input. I want to find all stylesheet definitions in a XHTML file with lxml.etree.findall. This could be as simple as elems = tree.findall('link[@rel="stylesheet"]') + tree.findall('style') But the problem with CSS style definitions is that the order matters, e.g. <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/media/css/first.css" /> <style>body:{font-size: 10px;}</style> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/media/css/second.css" /> if the contents of the style tag is applied after the rules in the two link tags, the result may be completely different from the one where the rules are applied in order of definition. So, how would I do a lookup that inlcudes both link[@rel="stylesheet"] and style?

Tentative date casting in tsql

I am looking for something like TRYCAST in TSQL or an equivalent method / hack. In my case I am extracting some date data from an xml column. The following query throws "Arithmetic overflow error converting expression to data type datetime." if the piece of data found in the xml cannot be converted to datetime (in this specific case, the date is "0001-01-01" in some cases). Use WM_COPYDATA to send data between processes

I wish to send text between processes. I have found lots of examples of this but none that I can get working. Here is what I have so far: for the sending part: COPYDATASTRUCT CDS; CDS.dwData = 1; CDS.cbData = 8; CDS.lpData = NULL; SendMessage(hwnd, WM_COPYDATA , (WPARAM)hwnd, (LPARAM) (LPVOID) &CDS); the receiving part: case WM_COPYDATA: COPYDATASTRUCT* cds = (COPYDATASTRUCT*) lParam; I dont know how to construct the COPYDATASTRUCT, I have just put something in that seems to work. When debugging the WM_COPYDATA case is executed, but again I dont know what to do with the COPYDATASTRUCT. I would like to send text between the two processes. As you can probably tell I am just starting out, I am using GNU GCC Compiler in Code::Blocks, I am trying to avoid MFC and dependencies.

Hi, I know theres hundred of questions and answers out there, but cant find one to specifically answer this. I need a web editor that will let me choose a dark themed editor. I understand gvim is one, but im not totally ready to let go of my mouse. I would like something like sublime text editor for windows, but open to other suggestions. The less bloat the best. I dont need a full IDE like eclipse, but willing to compromise, as long as the themes can easily be added. I've tried bluefish, kompozer and not happy with them. Just need a basic text editor that will highlight php syntax on a dark background.

Background-image won't change using jquery in IE6

There is a panel on my page with no default background-image css. On load it is set with jquery to an initial image, waits for 10 seconds then loads a random image out of some predetermined images. There are previous and next buttons which allow you to cycle through the images. In ie6 the initial image loads and then a random image also loads after 10 seconds, however pressing prev/next causes the background to become white and the images aren't loaded. With alerts I was able to find that it's still keeping track of the position and url of the image it's supposed to load, but just won't load it. How do I make these layers not overlap?

I tried using z-index, but it didn't work. 2 ) I'm trying to make the div #search align directly beneath the "More", but upon setting the width of #search, it aligns to the left side. 3 ) When I hover over the navigation on the left, the popup is being overlapped by the text in the middle. I want the popup to be on top of the text.

But what if I want to make the swing worker class a non-inner class. Should I need to pass label as an argument to the constructor of swing worker class so that the process() method can access. Or Is there any other way? What approach does other developer follow to update UI components from the swing worker class' result when the swing worker class is not an inner class?

How to subString a block of user generated HTML while preserving formatting?

I'd like to create the typical preview paragraph with a [read more] link. Problem is, the content that I'd like to SubString() contains text and html, written by a user with a WYSIWYG editor. Of course, I check to make sure the string is not null or empty, then SubString() it, problem is that I could end up breaking the html tags, throwing off the rendering of the entire site. The WYSIWYG editor doesn't seem to create perfectly formatted HTML, and many times seems to use <br /> tags instead of <p></p>, etc... basically, I can't rely on well-formed tags, etc. My workaround was to just strip out all HTML and substring the leftover text. This works, but loses any of the formatting that was in the HTML. What's the best method of SubString()'ing a block of non-well-formed HTML while maintaining HTML that won't break the rendering of the site?

JQuery .submit() changes post data

I'm posting a form with javascript and it seems to be changing a value that I've entered in. I see this in fiddler. If get rid of the javascript and click the button above, it goes through how it should. Why is JQuery changing my text?

How to remove one instance of one string in PHP?

I have a open source editor on the cms that I am making that automatically inserts a <br /> tag at the beginning of the post it submits to the database. This makes validation a pain, since even though there is no real text being submitted, the form still accepts the break tag as input and prevents the "Please enter some text" error from showing. So I tried to remove the opening break tag by filtering my input like this: substr($_POST['content'], 6); This works as long as the user doesn't press the backspace a couple of times which removes the break tag in which case the first 8 characters of the post gets removed even if they are not a break tag. So how can I remove the first 6 characters of the input ONLY if those first 6 characters are composed of the break tag. Also I don't want to remove all break tags, only the one at the very beginning of the post.

Problems getting foreign keys working in MySQL

I've been trying to get a delete to cascade and it just doesn't seem to work. I'm sure I am missing something obvious, can anyone help me find it? I would expect a delete on the 'articles' table to trigger a delete on the corresponding rows in the 'article_section_lt' table.
