  Hello, I have a find command that I run, to find files named 'foo' in a directory. I want to skip the ".git" directory. The command below works, EXCEPT, it prints an annoying ".git" any time it skips a .git directory find . ( -name .git ) -prune -o -name 'foo' How can I prevent the skipped ".git" directories from printing to STDOUT? Thanks, --Nate

  My ViewModel: class ViewModel { public string FileName {get;set;} } and in my View I bind a label's content to ViewModel's FileName. now When I do drag-drop a file to my View, How can I update the label's Content property, so that the ViewMode's FileName also get updated via binding? Directly set the label's Content property won't work, it just simply clear the binding.

• Back button of Navigation Controller does not work!

  For some reason, if I try to go back to the main menu using the back button on the upper left corner, only the title returns to the previous menu, but not the view controller. View controller would return to the previous menu only if I explicitly call popViewControllerAnimated using some other button. Is there anyway to solve this? I think I've coded something wrong. Tried googling but couldn't find any cases like mine.

How can I determine which is the current view?? I need to get the current view to execute the code that hides the virtual keyboard. 2) How can I check whether the virtual keyboard is currently being displayed (so I can filter the actions of my various hard keys)??   I understand that this is highly specific to the concrete application, but I'm just wondering what's the general opinion, or at least some personal experiences on the issue. I have an aversion towards the 'open session in view' pattern, so to avoid it, I'm thinking about simply fetching everything small eagerly, and using queries in the service layer to fetch larger stuff. Has anyone used this and regretted it? And is there maybe some elegant solution to lazy loading in the view layer that I'm not aware of?

I've tried: canCancelContentTouches = YES; I've tried subclassing and overwriting: - (BOOL)canPerformAction:(SEL)action withSender:(id)sender (But that gets called only After the selection) - (BOOL)touchesShouldCancelInContentView:(UIView *)view; (I don't see that getting fired at all) - (BOOL)touchesShouldBegin:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event inContentView:(UIView *)view; (I don't see that getting fired either) What am I missing ?

• Is INotifyPropertyChanged only for the presentation layer?

Should I also use this interface in other parts of my application (e.g. in the business layer) when I want notifications of property changes, or I am better off using other notification mechanisms?   I have a folder(/MyFolder/) with a dedicated web.config in it that does an impersonating In that folder I have an asp.net file that use Microsoft report viewer 8.0 named MyReport.aspx When I view this folder on my machine, it's working perfectly without issue When I publish my project to the dev server and I'm trying to view the report, I have an issue where the the user that run IIS doesn't have access to something, (rsAccessDenied) Can asp.net routing cause this issue? (I'm not at work right now so I can only go by memory so it will be hard to provide more information)

• Memory Allocation increases in didSelectRowAtIndexPath

  Hello, I'm testing my App and in a very simple view, each time a tap on a UITableView row, my allocation overall bytes get higher and higher and never go downs. I don't have any special code there, so I created a new project from scratch with a very simple view, force one section and just three rows. In the didSelectRowAtIndexPath code do nothing, and fire it with instruments and memory allocation and, the memory goes up with every cell selection ... • Is there a way to accumulate a commit message with git while examing changes?

  I use "git add -p" to stage my changes. What I'd like to be able to do is to accumulate a commit message as I'm examining my changes and then when I call "git commit", it is already filled out for me and allows me to make changes before I commit. Now, its easy to do with git gui by simply examining the changes and editing the commit message text box accordingly, but I'm a command line guy and was wondering if this is possible at the command line.
