How do I get user input into a PackageMaker package?

I'm trying to create an install package. I've got all my components, and I think I understand most of the process. I want to have an install/set-up script that is run as part of the install. I planned to put it either as a post-install action or a post-install script. The problem is that I need user-input. I can't figure out how to either get user input into the script, or how to add a page in the install UI that has a place for user input and then pass that on to the script. I guess, I could write an apple-script with a dialog to ask the question, and then pass that information on to my shell script (or, write the whole thing in the applescript) but that seems unnecessarily complicated... Is there a normal way to do this? Thanks

Hi i have a inlogscreen (inlogdialog.xml), which includes 2 EditText (username, passwd) and i have a CheckBox (saveuser) with which the user can decide weather to save the username or not. On the mainform (main.xml) i have a listner for these 3 values: private class OnReadyListener implements MyCustomForm.ReadyListener { public void ready(String user, String pass, boolean save) { username = user; password = pass; } } Now i first want to save the username through SharedPreferences but it doesn`t get saved, can someone help me please? If i check with system.out.println, the username is present in String username. Passing a variable to jsp when reloading an iframe using javascript

In my javascript code I load a jsp page in an iframe and pass some variables like this: htmlData[i++]="<iframe id=\"mapframe\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"width:330px;height:300px\" src=\"" + "mapURL.jsp" +"&lat=" + AjxStringUtil.urlComponentEncode("33.65") +"&lng=" + AjxStringUtil.urlComponentEncode("-84.42") +"&accord=" + AjxStringUtil.urlComponentEncode(accord) +"\"></iframe>"; Then I have to reload that jsp page after an action, and I do this: accord = ui.newHeader.text(); document.getElementById('mapframe').contentWindow.location.reload(); The reload works except that the "accord" variable is not getting updated. When I call it from the jsp, it still has its original value. How do I pass the new value when reloading the iframe/jsp? It shouldn't make any difference, but I am working with jquery and this is for a Yahoo zimlet. Thanks.

i have SOQL query which queries for some records based on a where condition. select id, name,account.name ... <other fields> from opportunity where eventname__c='Test Event' i also need to get the related contact details for the account in the opportunity. ie i need to add the email ids of contact who all are part of the account in the opportunity. For each opportunity, i need to get all the contacts emailids who are associated with the account in opportunity. I cant really figure out how to approach this. referring the documentation i can get the contact info of a account using the query SELECT Name, ( SELECT LastName FROM Contacts ) FROM Account How can i use this along with opportunity? LINQ Join for Orderby only

I am trying to run this code: ItemTaxonomy iTaxonomy = from itemTaxonomy in connection.ItemTaxonomy where itemTaxonomy.Item.ID == itemView.ID orderby itemTaxonomy.Taxonomy.Name select itemTaxonomy; When I compiled it I get the error: Cannot implicitly convert type 'System.Linq.IOrderedQueryable<Website.Models.ItemTaxonomy>' to 'Website.Models.ItemTaxonomy'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) I believe the issue is with orderby itemTaxonomy.Taxonomy.Name but I am just trying to order by the name of Taxonomy items instead of their IDs. Is there a way to do that?

Hi, I am probably totally missing the point here but.... How can I pass a 'var' into another method? (I am using linq to load XML into an Enumerable list of objects). I have differernt object types (with different fields), but the final step of my process is the same regardless of which object is being used. Squid server - multiple originservers with different domains

I have 2 squid servers load-balanced with F5 LTMs set up as a reverse proxy. My problem: origin server A hosts domains 1, 2, and 3 origin server B hosts domains 4 and 5. how can I set up squid so that it will cache all vhosts for both servers? my current config: cache_peer serverA parent 80 0 round-robin no-query originserver login=PASS If I add a second line: cache_peer serverB parent 80 0 round-robin no-query originserver login=PASS it only caches domains on serverB, requests for serverA content generate 404 errors. I don't use squid a whole lot, and all help is appreciated. thanks.

Why does UMN-Mapserver shows an ERDAS Image-File (.img) as white shape?

I want to render an ERDAS-Image-file (suffix .img) with the UMN-Mapserver. The data is rendered on the right position and with the correct shape, but all data is white instead of an raster-image. The Image contains many layers. Hi. I have a list of regexes in python, and a string. Is there an elegant way to check if the at least one regex in the list matches the string? By elegant, I mean something better than simply looping through all of the regexes and checking them against the string and stopping if a match is found. Basically, I had this code: list = ['something','another','thing','hello'] string = 'hi' if string in list: pass # do something else: pass # do something else Now I would like to have some regular expressions in the list, rather than just strings, and I am wondering if there is an elegant solution to check for a match to replace if string in list:. Calling a WCF from ASP.NET with same the single-signon user LogonUserIdentity

I have a ASP.NET MVC page, which call WCF logic. The system is single-signon using NTML. Both the ASP page and the WCF will use the UserIdentity to get user login information. Other then NTML, I will also have a Form based authorization (with AD) in same system. The ASP page, is it simple and I can have it from HttpContext.Current.Request.LogonUserIdentity. However, it seem it is missing from the WCF which call by the ASP, not from browser. How to configure to pass the ID pass from the ASP to the WCF?

cannot access localhost using ip

I have done a small web development project using eclipse. It runs well when I try running it on browser with url localhost:8080/myproject/home.html. But if I want to access it on another machine (laptop, mobile, etc. using the same wifi) it is not possible; it is not able to connect. After Googling for a while found out that I have to use the IP address instead of 'localhost'. So I tried 10.0.0.4:8080/myproject/home.html, but still does not work. In fact i am unable to open that url on the same machine (where localhost:8080/myproject/home.html works fine). I also added a new Inbound rule in control panel firewall settings, allowing access to all ports for protocol TCP. Still have problem in running application with the url 10.0.0.4:8080/myproject/home.html (both on same machine as well as laptop and mobile). Any "trick" to use some keys to launch an application?

Hello, I am currently developing an free application (TaskOS ) that allow users to have multitasking and switch easily between applications on their mobile ( like alt+tab in Windows ) That work pretty well and user can launch my application by a long press on the "search" button" by adding this line in the manifest: <action android:name="android.intent.action.SEARCH_LONG_PRESS" /> I also succeed to allow to the users to Use the camera button ( they can of course disable that in application settings) and the way to do that is slighlty different: <receiver android:name=".CameraPressed"> <intent-filter android:priority="10000"> <action android:name="android.intent.action.CAMERA_BUTTON"/> </intent-filter> I am now wondering if there are other ways to launch easily my task switcher? ( long press on Home key, long press on trackball, or any other idea.) Reading the Google documentation does not help me a lot. Any other idea/suggestion would be warmly welcome. Christophe

Alright so my terminology when it comes to C# isn't great, so I'll attempt to explain this with a small example. If you create a class which you are using within a PropertyGrid and you have the following values: class Test { public Point example { get; set; } } This will produce a PropertyGrid which has an expandable object "example" which has fields X and Y in order to create a "Point". I'm attempting to create an object "name" which has fields "firstname" and "lastname", so I have: class Test { public Name example { get; set; } } public struct Name { public string firstname { get; set; } public string lastname { get; set; } } This however isn't working as intended. I think I need to override some method(s) in order to get this working, however since I don't really have the terminology down for PropertyGrids it is difficult for me to find a solution. Any help would be great.

Hey, How is it possible to sort data from multiple tables by relevance? My table structure is following: I have 3 tables in my database, one table contains the name of solar systems, the second for e.g. of planets. There is one more table, witch is a connection between solar systems and planets. If I want to get data of a planet, witch is in the Milky Way, i post this data to the server, and it gives me a multi-dimensional array witch contains: The Milky Way, with every planet in it Every planet, witch name contains the string Milky Way (maybe thats a bat example because i don't think that theres but one planet with this name, but the main concept is on file) But, i want to set the most relevant restaurants to the top of the array. (for the relevance i would check the description of the restaurants or something like that) So, how would you do that kind of data sorting?

Any way to get B?

Create a group indicator (SQL)

I am looking to create a group indicator for a query using SQL (Oracle specifically). Basically, I am looking for duplicate entries for certain columns and while I can find those what I also want is some kind of indicator to say what rows the duplicates are from. Below is an example of what I am looking to do (looking for duplicates on Name, Zip, Phone). The rows with Name = aaa are all in the same group, bb are not, and c are. Is there even a way to do this?
