I would like to incorporate the data about the estimated travel time by car they give you when you ask for a road description from A to B into a site. And only that data. To check all possible ways of user interaction, I'd like to test my app when a user declines to have push notifications enabled for my app during the first start. The dialog (initiated by registerForRemoteNotificationTypes), however, appears only once per app. How do I reset the iPhone OS's memory of my app. Deleting the app and reinstalling doesn't help.

    MySQL has something like this: INSERT INTO visits (ip, hits) VALUES ('127.0.0.1', 1) ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE hits = hits + 1; As far as I'm know this feature doesn't exist in SQLite, what I want to know is if there is any way to archive the same effect without having to execute two queries. Also, if this is not possible, what do you prefer: SELECT + (INSERT or UPDATE) or UPDATE (+ INSERT if UPDATE fails)

  • iPhone SDK: Change playback speed using core audio AVAudioPlayer

    I'd like to be able to play back audio I've recorded using AVAudioRecorder @ 1.5x or 2.0x speed. I don't see anything in AVAudioPlayer that will support that. I'd appreciate some suggestions, with code if possible, on how to accomplish this with the iPhone 3.x SDK. I'm not overly concerned with lowering the pitch to compensate for increased playback speed, but being able to do so would be optimal.

    While developing WCF service i've faced problem of transferring large data as method params ( 4 Mb of raw size, not considering transfer/message overhead). The solution for this problem is to use chunking or streaming, but all the samples i've seen assume client is aware of used method and uses available block size for sending/receiving portions of data, and the problem (for me) is that it's not possible to call just one method, like SaveData(DataInformation info) but write wrapper method which will instead iterate smth like SaveDataChunk(byte[] buffer) Could it be somehow made transparent for client, just calling 'SaveData'?

Implementing a vanilla version of n-grams (where it possible to define how many grams to use), along with a simple implementation of tf-idf and Cosine similarity. PS: Kinetic scrolling: A scrolling mechanism where you don't use a scrollbar to scroll the content, but you touch the list itself, and pull and push it. The "physics engine" then counts out the speed, and stops based on the given settings.

    In my Android appliction in eclipse I get the following error: UNEXPECTED TOP-LEVEL EXCEPTION: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: already added: Lorg/xmlpull/v1/XmlPullParser; .... Conversion to Dalvik format failed with error 1 this error only appears if I add a specific external Jar to my project. I search long time to the right solution but all possible solutions don't work. I even tried to change to android 1.6 instead of 1.5(current version I use)
