  Does anyone know how to display a percentage format based on the locale using the zend framework? I've tried this below and it doesn't work for some reason: $xx = Zend_Locale::getTranslation(null, 'PercentNumber'); // This outputs: "#,##0%" for locale 'en_us' $percentage = Zend_Locale_Format::getNumber(133.3678, array('number_format' => $xx, 'locale' => $lang_LOCALE)); The output of $percentage is 133.3678. • Interfacing Android Nexus One with Arduino + BlueSmirf

  I'm a bit new to all of this, so bear with me - I'd really appreciate your help. I am trying to link the Android Nexus One with an arduino (Duemilanove) that is connected to a BlueSmirf. I have a program that is simply outputting the string "Hello Bluetooth" to whatever device the BlueSmirf is connected to. Here is the Arduino program: void setup(){ Serial.begin(115200); int i; } void loop(){Serial.print("Hello Bluetooth!"); delay(1000); } One my computer BT terminal I can see the message and connect no problem. The trouble is with my android code. I can connect to the device with android, but when I look at the log it is not displaying "Hello Bluetooth". • JLabel animation in JPanel

  After scratching around I found that it's best to implement a custom image component by extending a JLabel. So far that has worked great as I can add multiple "images" (jlabels without the layout breaking. I just have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. I noticed that in order to animate JLabels across the screen I need to setlayout(null); and setbounds of the component and then to animate eventually setlocation(x,y);. Is this a best practice or a terrible way to animate a component? I plan on eventually making an animation class but I don't want to do so and end up having to chuck it. • Problem with Rotating a UIScrollview

  Hey guys, I am having issues trying to get the pageControl sample code to work with rotation. I managed to get it to rotate but it does not visually loads correctly until I start to scroll (then it works fine). Any Idea on how I can fix this problem?   JavaScript needs access to cookies if AJAX is used on a site with access restrictions based on cookies. Will HttpOnly cookies work on an AJAX site? Edit: Microsoft created a way to prevent XSS attacks by disallowing JavaScript access to cookies if HttpOnly is specified. FireFox later adopted this. So my question is: If you are using AJAX on a site, like StackOverflow, are Http-Only cookies an option? Edit 2: Question 2. If the purpose of HttpOnly is to prevent JavaScript access to cookies, and you can still retrieve the cookies via JavaScript through the XmlHttpRequest Object, what is the point of HttpOnly? Edit 3: Here is a quote from Wikipedia: When the browser receives such a cookie, it is supposed to use it as usual in the following HTTP exchanges, but not to make it visible to client-side scripts.[32] The HttpOnly flag is not part of any standard, and is not implemented in all browsers. • WPF-Prism CanExecute method not being called

  I am coding a simple login UserControl with two TextBoxes (Username and Password) and a Login button. I want the Login button to be enabled only when the username and password fields are filled in. I am using Prism and MVVM. The LoginViewModel contains a property called LoginCommand that is bound to the Login button. I have a CanLoginExecute() method in my ViewModel but it fires only when the application comes up and then never again. So the Login button is never enabled. What am I missing? • how to prevent jsp tags from being reused after being classloaded

  I have a problem where certain attributes in tag files stick around for the next time the tag is used. I think this is because the Tag class is being classloaded, and then that same instance is reused for every invocation. So attributes that i do not set in later invocations are not null like i would expect them to be, and contain stale values! I want this to not happen any more. Does anyone know what setting controls that in tomcat 6?

• SSIS package randomly hangs during execution

  Hi Guys, I am having an ongoing and painful problem with an SSIS package. The package runs every 5 minutes as an SQL Agent Job and every 2-10 days the package will start running and never stop (thus preventing further executions). If I stop the hung job manually it will begin working perfectly again in the next 5 minute interval. The SSIS package is for moving data from an Oracle database to a MSSQL 2005 database. It has 7 steps: Step 1 calls an Oracle Stored Procedure to prepare the temporary tables inside ORACLE Steps 2-6 process the data from the ORACLE tables to the MSSQL tables ORACLE - MSSQL Step 7 calls an Oracle Stored Procedure to clear the ORACLE temporary tables I suspect that the issue is caused by a communications error between the MSSQL server and the ORACLE server. Both the MSSQL database and Agent/package run on one machine with the ORACLE database running over the network. That is fine. But when i call recv(), i suddently becomes 0. Why is that? It doesn't make sense to me why recv() would take an socket file descriptor number and modify to another number. Is that normal? Am I missing something? • ANTLR: using stringTemplate

  (I'm a Noob with Antlr)... I'm having difficulties getting my grammar with StringTemplates. Basically I'm trying to write a little DSL. I can get my grammar the way I want (it parses correctly), but I can't get the generation of the target code to work with templates. So here's a snippet of my grammar: grammar Pfig; options { output=template; language=CSharp2; } conf : globalName ; globalName : 'GlobalName:' ID -> localConf(name ={$ID.text}) ; I simplified it quite a bit just to get the essence across. Basically, when the lex/parse comes across `GlobalName: Foo' I want it to spit out text based on the StringTemplate called 'localConf'. Super straightforward. So now, let's fire up the parser in a test app and have it process an input file. // C# processing a file with the lex/parser. // the 'app.pfig' file just has one line that reads 'GlobalName: Bla' using (FileStream fs = File.OpenRead("c:\\app.pfig")) { PfigParser parser = new PfigParser(new CommonTokenStream( new PfigLexer(new ANTLRInputStream(fs)))); using (TextReader tr = File.OpenText("./Pfig.stg")) { parser.TemplateLib = new StringTemplateGroup(tr); } var parseResult = parser.conf(); string code = parseResult.Template.ToString(); // Fail: template is null } I can step through the parser code and see that it correctly identifies my text and applies the stringTemplate correctly. The problem is that since this 'globalName' rule is a subrule of 'conf' it doesn't get executed directly--the method just finds it and returns. But the calling 'Conf' method does not keep the return value from the subrule--it goes to thin air. This means that my resultant template on the last line is null. If I get rid of the 'conf' rule in my grammar and call 'globalName' directly, it will work (since it's the only rule on the stack). But I obviously want more than one rule. • ie8 breaks with asp.net ajax

  Hello, When using asp.net ajax (scriptmanager, timer, updatepanel) with ie8, after certain time (~3h) IE breaks with null object, constructor, or paramArray (depending on the asp.net code). Even with the simplest timer (no ajax, no updatepanel) ie8 still breaks. On every other browser it works fine, and if I code the ajax myself it works. Since google and msdn forums turned up nothing I'm wondering if anybody here has had similar problems with ie8 browser.

Am I successful on my system because of one or more of the following: - windows xp service pack 2? - visual studio 2008 sp1 was installed? - .Net 3.5 sp1? Furthermore, when using separate placeholders, If I load the "/Blogs" url, It will first load the content statically in the Blog contentplaceholder and then trigger an ajax call to load it a second time and replace it. If I just link the tab to the hashtag, then when loading the forum tabs, I won't get the blog content... How would you achieve the expected behaviour? I feel like I might have a deeper probelm in the organization of my views. Is putting the tabs in the masterpage the way to go? Maybe I should just hijax the links manually and not rely on jquery-ui tabs to do the work for me. I cannot load all tabs by default and display them using the hash tags, I need an ajax loading because it is a search process that can be long. So to sum up : /Forum should load the forum tab, and let the other tabs be loaded with an ajax call when clicking on it. /Twitter should load the twitter tab and let the other tabs.... the same goes for /Blogs and any tabs I would add later. Any idea to have this working properly?

  Is there any way to Linkify a specific TextView that is contained within a ListView? I tried using android:autoLink="all" but that didn't work. I was getting an out of context error. Important also to note: the ListView is my second view in the ViewFlipper.   I trying to capture packets using SharpPcap library.
