A little visual indicator should indicate if a field is associated with a comment, and on clicking on the element should open or trigger an action for displaying that particular comment. I know I can download the full open source MVC code from codeplex, build it and then get my code to reference THAT codebase dll's... But i'm wondering if this could be achieved by using the Symbol Server stuff instead? If so, can someone go through some steps please, about how to achieve this?

    Hi All I have a MainMenu in my app and I would like to have little icons relevant to the Item in each menu. But the MainMenu control does not support this. I would use the MenuStrip control, though that is a pretty ugly option in my opinion. Does anybody have any suggestions? Are there any free/open source alt's out there, or would it be easy/possible to implement that feature into the existing MainMenu control? Thanks

I checked Qt, wxWidgets, and GTK+. Is there an example of a GUI toolkit (written in any language) that uses composition instead of inheritance to separate the various widgets?

  • scale down pdf to fit in iframe in uiwebview

    I have a uiwebview that loads a iframe to display a pdf file. But only the top left corner of the pdf file i visible, I need to fit the pdf file inside then iframe, that is, I need to scale down the pdf file so that all of it is visible. I know that with webpages you can open a pdf and set the starting scale on it like this page1.pdf#zoom=25 but that doesnt work in the webview. Does anybody know what to do?

  • Unable to load dump files in Windows Server 2008

    I've got a managed process (x86) running on a Win Server 2008 (x64). When i'm talking a dump of the process via the task manager ("Create dump file"), i use correctly SOS on win dbg (it complains about symbols and such even though i have all of the debugging symbols installed). If i'll create the dump using procdump.exe [SysInternals], or via WinDBG [.dump -ma], i can open the dump file and use SOS without any problems ...what's the deal with task manager's "create dump file" option?
