  Hello All, @Html.ActionLink("Reply", "BlogReplyCommentAdd", "Blog", new { blogPostId = blogPostId, replyblogPostmodel = Model, captchaValid = Model.AddNewComment.DisplayCaptcha }) In above line: I get error on blogPostId. The parameters dictionary contains a null entry for parameter 'blogPostId' of non-nullable type 'System.Int32' for method 'System.Web.Mvc.ActionResult BlogReplyCommentAdd(Int32, Nop.Web.Models.Blogs.BlogPostModel, Boolean)' in 'Nop.Web.Controllers.BlogController'. An optional parameter must be a reference type, a nullable type, or be declared as an optional parameter. Parameter name: parameters I have already assign a value for this on top such as @{ var blogPostId = Model.Id; } My Controller : public ActionResult BlogReplyCommentAdd(int blogPostId, BlogPostModel model, bool captchaValid) {} M i doing something wrong? • NullPointerException when accessing image files in a .jar file

  Hi, I have pretty much tried everything but still have this same problem. I have the following setup: I have a images.jar containing a folder called 'images' in which there are multiple image files. I add images.jar to the java build path of the project in eclipse, and i've been trying to use the following code to access the individual images in the jar: URL url = this.getClass().getResource("images/a.png"); ImageIcon icon = new ImageIcon (url); Unfortunately, the URL object is always NULL. I don't think this has anything to do with where I put images.jar file as it is added to the classpath in eclipse. I have also tried using the path '/images/a.png', but still the same problem. Any suggestion would be extremely welcome! Thanks.

• My cookies won't stay (PHP).

  I'm building an autologin system using cookies, but one fundamental part of the functionality of the cookies fails: they are non-persistent over different sessions - or even pages! In my login script, I set the cookies like this: setcookie('userID', $userID, time()+86400); // (edited after replies) $userID has a value. Then I print the $_COOKIE variable and it says array(['base_usid'] = 1); So that's good, but when I click the home page and print the $_COOKIE variable there, it says NULL. Does anyone see the problem?

• Why can't i call Contains method from my array?

  Arrrg!I am running into what i feel is a dumb issue with a simple script i'm writing in powershell. I am invoking a sql command that is calling a stored proc, with the results i put it a array. The results look something like this: Status ProcessStartTime ProcessEndTime ------ ---------------- -------------- Expired May 22 2010 8:31PM May 22 2010 8:32PM What i'm trying to do is if($s.Contains("Expired")) , report failed. Simple...? :( Problem i'm running into is it looks like Contains method is not being loaded as i get an error like this: Method invocation failed because [System.Object[]] doesn't contain a method named 'Contains'. At line:1 char:12 + $s.Contains <<<< ("Expired") + CategoryInfo : InvalidOperation: (Contains:String) [], RuntimeException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : MethodNotFound So, what can i do to stop powershell from unrolling it to string?   Hello, in C# Application. I've a windows form application in which clicking certain button make object from a 2nd Form. On closing this 2nd From by user Memory used by this form not released (from Task Manager). I Tried using this.dispose() on exit button ,tried this.close() , tried form2 =null in the main code ,and tried clearing all controls from this form by code before Disposing and every time the clicks the button memory usage by the application increases more and memory used by previous instance not released. What shall i use to solve this problem ?

  Just a quick syntax question. I'm writing a map class (for school). If I define the following operator overload: template<typename Key, typename Val> class Map {... Val* operator[](Key k); What happens when a user writes: Map<int,int> myMap; map[10] = 3; Doing something like that will only overwrite a temporary copy of the [null] pointer at Key k. Is it even possible to do: map[10] = 3; printf("%i\n", map[10]); with the same operator overload?

  I'm using drupal 6. I've managed to make a .tpl file for one content type, that is for images in my image gallery. I did that by adding this code in template.php: function artbasic_theme($existing, $type, $theme, $path) { return array( 'galleryimage_node_form' => array( 'arguments' => array('form' => NULL), 'template' => 'galleryimage_node_form' ) ); } And then I created galleryimage_node_form.tpl.php, and was good to go. Now it happens so that I want to have other template files for the forms of other content types, for example link_contrib_node_form.tpl.php. I've tried a couple of ways to change this function to include more content types, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help?

  I ran a C++ program in Xcode, and encountered a warning of "Control may reach end of non-void function". But in Xcode, the result was wrong. By the way, I got the correct answer and no warning in Visual Studio.

• focus() jQuery function doesn't work in Safari, but works fine on all other browsers?

  I have a search text field and search button, when button is clicked with default text in text field, or null value, an alert pops up and sets focus back on search text field. This works very well on all major browsers but not in safari. I tried it even with out jquery, but didn't work. When the focus falls on search text field, I have another jQuery function, is that the problem.   I was looking a snipset of code: int* ip; ip = new int[100]; delete ip; The example above states that: "This code will work with many compilers, but it should instead read:" int* ip; ip = new int[100]; delete [] ip; Is this indeed the case? I use the compiler "Microsoft (R) 32-bit C/C++ Optimizing Compiler Version 11.00.7022 for 80x86" and does not complain (first example) while compiling. At runtime the pointer is set to NULL.   I'm trying to write a Union Query with multiple columns from two different talbes (duh), but for some reason the second column of the second Select statement isn't showing up in the output. I don't know if that painted the picture properly but here is my code: Select empno, job From EMP Where job = 'MANAGER' Union Select empno, empstate From EMPADDRESS Where empstate = 'NY' Order By empno The output looks like: EMPNO JOB 4600 NY 5300 MANAGER 5300 NY 7566 MANAGER 7698 MANAGER 7782 MANAGER 7782 NY 7934 NY 9873 NY Instead of 5300 and 7782 appearing twice, I thought empstate would appear next to job in the output. For all other empno's I thought the values in the fields would be (null). Am I not understanding Unions correctly, or is this how they are supposed to work? Thanks for any help in advance.

  My file contains a series of numbers (integer, float, integer, float ....), each written on a separate line. The numbers of columns are different from one line to another i.e. 1 2.45 3 1.75 5 3.45 7 2.55 9 3.25 6 1.75 4 3.55 6 2.55 9 2.45 The program should read the contents of the entire file and place the data into an array of type float with an entry for each line.   How do I start a thread using _beginthreadex(), making it execute void myFunction(wchar_t *param);? I try to use this: _beginthread(NULL, 0, myFunction, L"someParam", 0, &ThreadID); but there is compilation error: error C2664: 'beginthreadex' : cannot convert parameter 3 from 'void (_cdecl *)(wchar_t *)' to 'unsigned int (__stdcall *)(void *)'. How I can resolve this error? I seem able to do _beginthread((void(*)(void*))myFunction, 0 , (void *)L"someParam");. But for _beginthreadex() these casts don't seem to work. What do I need to do?

System.exit(1); } FILE_NAME = tempName; Is this indeed bad practice? Should one avoid initializing variables to dummy values that will never actually be used? (EDIT - And what about initializing a String variable to "" before a loop that will concatenate values to the String...?   I have an application that is supposed to read from the Registry and when executing a console application my registry access works perfectly. However when I move it over to a test this returns null: var masterKey = Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey("path_to_my_key"); So my question is: Does Visual Studio run Tests with a less privileged process? I tested to see what user this gave me: var x = WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name; and it gives me the same as in the console application. So I am a bit confused here.
