  • Are there .NET Framework methods to parse an email (MIME)?

    Is there a class or set of functions built into the .NET Framework (3.5+) to parse raw emails (MIME documents)? I am not looking for anything fancy or a separate library, it needs to be built-in. I'm going to be using this in some unit tests and need only grab the main headers of interest (To, From, Subject) along with the body (which in this case will always be text and therefore no MIME trees or boundaries). I've written several MIME parsers in the past and if there isn't anything readily available, I'll just put together something from regular expressions. It would be great to be able to do something like: MailMessage msg = MailMessage.Parse(text); Thoughts?

  • List replies in a winform

    In my C# app I get an xml from a server that contains some replies like in a forum thread (with elements like author, time, body, title, whatever). When I get this xml, I create a new form in which i want to display these replies, and a little text box with an "add reply" button. I'd also like some edit buttons on perhaps my own replies in the reply list displayed in the form. The simplest way that came to my mind to display the replies is to put a web browser control in the form, generate a full html page in a string from the xml, and throw it in that web browser control. And under it i can put the text box with the add reply button. Everything is ok, except that i have no idea of how i could implement the edit function on my own replies (i mean i could add a link in there... but link to what) I would like to know if there is a way to get that edit event from the web browser control (my guess is i can't) or another (maybe simple/easy) idea of displaying the replies in a winform using other controls

    I'm trying to output the results of a SELECT query to a tab delimited text file in Advantage Data Architect. I know I can use the 'Export to' feature to do this, but there are a lot of tables and that is going to take forever. I would rather use the SQL editor, but I found out it does not accept the OUTPUT TO argument, even though that command is part of Sybase SQL. I would like to do this: SELECT * FROM tablename; OUTPUT TO 'C:/ExportDirectory' DELIMITED BY '\t' FORMAT TEXT; Is there another way?

    I have links that load dynamically onto a background to make them look like buttons. Some of the links take up two lines and some of the links take up 1 line. Eithe way they need to be vertically centered. My plan to to append a class based on the number of characters and then adjust the padding from there. So if the link's text is 25 characters (including spaces) or less - append class 'small' if the link's text is greater than 25 characters - append class 'large' How would I go about doing this with jQuery?

  • ASP.NET Elements are null when assigning data source

    For some reason, all of the objects in my ASP.NET markup are now null when I try to assign values to their properties in the code behind. My project was going fine and then now when I try to assign a data source to a GridView, I get a null reference error. I have no idea why it's doing this. I am not doing nothing special. I am just trying to assign a value to a property to an asp.net element in on the page. The intellisense knows that the element is there and I get no errors when I build the project. It's just when I am running the website I get the null reference. I have been trying to fix this issue for a couple weeks now. Please Help. Thanks.     Hello, We are currently working with Flex creating a web application. We are having trouble taking Arabic text from the user and displaying correctly (like in a chat feature). While presumably Flash 10 will solve this problem, we don't want to force our users to upgrade. Flash flips the order of the sentence's words. so if I wrote something like "Hello World" in the text field, it will appear as "World Hello" in the chat area. Is there a standard way to work with Right to Left languages in Flash? *We currently flip the order of the words with a function, but it things get messed up when using English or special characters in the chat like :) or :D *

What I have done: I already know how to store data in NSUserDefault. and also the reason why do we need to store it. Regarding Keychain I just know that storing in keychain stores the data with some extra security by encoding the original text while NSUserDefault stores the data as plain text. Is this the only reason for storing the data in keychain?

  • Cannot see response body in ie8 when response http status code is set to some error code(422)

    I am making a requset to a web service that sends custom error with proper HTTP header when I notice some validation error, this works fine in chrome and mozilla as things always do and then it broke in ie8 as it always does! After checking the network activity, I see that ie8 is not able to get response body when HTTP code is other that 200(or at-least it seems so). In groovy I am returning error like : render(status: 422, contentType: 'TEXT', text: ((errors as JSON) as String)) Is there a way I could somehow get ie8 to read in the response body, or as an alternative I might be able to set response header but before trying that I was wondering if you guys have already seen this issue and know a solution to it.     I have a usercontrol with asp:textbox controls on it that also performs postbacks. If two users, who are both identified by a different session variable, postback the page within the same second, one user will see the other user's viewstate values in the text boxes. I have validated that this happens by setting a textbox, a session variable, and a cookie to the same value (the same value that identifies the user) and writing to the log when all three don't match. The text box's value is the one that is logged as the other user's value. ASP.net 3.5, IIS 6 Has anyone experienced this issue.

  • How can I set the main theme-font dynamically, in WordPress

    I have created a theme where I already have a custom options page where I let the user set text for footer, twitter user and some other things and that works well. Now i'd like to add the functionality of letting the user select which font that should be used for content on the site. How can i accomplish this? I can probably create a php file that outputs something like: <style type="text/css"> body{ font-family: <?php echo get_option('my-font');?>; } </style> and include that file in header.php, but that means that I have to hit php for every request for this css and I want to avoid that if posssible.
