  • Using jQuery to find and then reformat a date string

    Hello, I currently am displaying dates as follows "yyyy/mm/dd" in a wordpress blog (it needs to be input in this format because a plugin is using it to define a post expiration date). I want to use jQuery to locate all of these strings on a page (they're all in table cells) and reformat them to "mm.dd.yy" The site is: http://www.beattrainsoundsystem.com/category/gigs The dates also exist in the footer on every page which I would also like to change.   • Netlogo programming question - is it possible to put balanced chemical equations in a model?

    hi I was wondering if it was possible to put balanced chemical equations, and if possible including state symbols, in the existing netlogo model that i am using, i havenot seen any examples in the models library so was not sure if it was possible. I wanted the model to be able to allow the user to input a balanced chemical equilibrium equation, or the model displays the the equation so then the user can select from them if they do not want to enter their own any help will be greatly appreciated thanks for example ethane + oxygen -- carbon dioxide + steam C2H6 + O2 -- CO2 + H2O

    Hi all: I have a list of fields/columns that comprises of Sharepoint specific fields/columns, my own custom fields/columns, and a bunch of custom fields/columns created by someone else (which I dont know what they are yet). My goal is to get the list of the fields/columnns created by that someone else. My first hurdle lies in how to tell which ones are from Sharepoint.     Hey Guys, I'm trying to build a multi model form - but one of the issues, is I need to link the models within the form. For example, lets say the form I have has the following models: Users, Profiles When creating a new user, I'd like to create a new profile simultaneously, and then link the two. The issue is, if neither have been created yet, they don't have ID's yet - so how can I assign linking values? Thanks! -Elliot

    Hi, so currently i'm using pods to create some individual pages for a log, filled with custom stuff. now i want to use the comments-system for each of this pages e.g.: mydomain.com/podpages/page1 mydomain.com/podpages/page2 mydomain.com/podpages/page3 this are not pages created with wordpress so simply adding <?php comments_template(); ?> is not working. any ideas how to solve this problem? thanks in advance please leave a comment if something is unclear :)

  • How to do case-insensitive order in Rails with postgresql

    I am in the process of switching my development environment from sqlite3 to postgresql 8.4 and have one last hurdle. In my original I had the following line in a helper method; result = Users.find(:all, :order => "name collate NOCASE") which provided a very nice case-insensitive search. I can't replicate this for postgresql. Should be easy - any ideas? Thanks.

Although the strings are equal, it never steps into the "ifTrue", I've tried converting both of them to ByteArray\String and it steel didn't work.
