    Hi, I have an XML file which is coming from the back end through an HTTP service(Using the perl cgi) and I want to display it in an advanced data grid....as in if I click the parent element the children have to be displayed in the corresponding columns...I'm trying it with my data provider but its not working.     In order to achieve this effect, I would like to know how I can make the WebBrowser to scroll up when new content is added to the HTML page? "Allow more entries to be displayed in the view: When the user clicks more, additional entries should be displayed in addition to the ones which are already displayed. The code should cause the UI to scroll such that the first entry of the "more" set is on top". I am using com.ibm.rcp.browser.service.WebBrowser which is similar to SWT WebBrowser.

    Anyone have a suggestion for a good utility class that maps values from one object to another? I want a utility class that uses reflection and takes two objects and copies values from the 1st object to the second if there is a public property with the same name. I have two entities that are generated from a web service proxy, so I can't change the parent class or impliment an interface or anything like that. But I know that the two objects have the same public properties.

    We are looking at switching from using WCF for our service layer in applications to REST. So far we are assuming that the way to do this is to use the WCF REST Starter Kit. However this is still in Preview 2 and hasn't been updated since March 2009. Is this project dead in the water? If so, what alternatives do we have for creating .NET-based REST services? (Some are suggesting using ASP.NET MVC, which we're already using for our UI layer)

    I need to manage the trace files for a database on Sql Server 2005 Express Edition. The C2 audit logging is turned on for the database, and the files that it's creating are eating up a lot of space. Can this be done from within Sql Server, or do I need to write a service to monitor these files and take the appropriate actions? I found the [master].[sys].[trace] table with the trace file properties. Does anyone know the meaning of the fields in this table?

  • Can Apache httpd be made to log errors to console instead of log files?

    I'm doing infrequent development with Apache/PHP on my Windows machine so I've opted to run apache as a console process instead of a service. It would be nice if errors could be logged to the console window instead of a logfile so I can see them immediately. Can this be done somehow? It doesn't seem that apache has such a capability built in and I can't find a mod that would do this either.
