    I have a arbitrarily large string of text from the user that needs to be split into 10k chunks (potentially adjustable value) and sent off to another system for processing. Chunks cannot be longer than 10k (or other arbitrary value) Text should be broken with natural language context in mind split on punctuation when possible split on spaces if no punction exists break a word as a last resort I'm trying not to re-invent the wheel with this, any suggestions before I roll this from scratch? Using C#.

    I have some common web pages that will be in multiple MVC applications. For those pages I'd like to reuse the same source code (controllers + views) between the different MVC web sites. What is the best way to go about doing this? ASP.NET MVC areas seem like one possibility but they just a sub directory of the website project. Is it possible to reuse an MVC area in multiple MVC applications?

    I have been trying to get information regarding expired ssl certificates using python 3 but it would be nice to be able to get as verbose a workup as possible. any takers? So far i have been trying to use urllib.request to get this info (to no avail), does this strike anyone as foolish? I know it is possible to do it with UIScrollView and with UIWebView, but these solutions both need a lot of changes in the code, and I'm working on schedule (bad teachers). Ideally I'd like a handler that behaves much like adding a marker to a map - i.e. onclick causes a marker to be displayed at the point that was clicked, and returns the x/y pixel coordinates of the point that was clicked.     I was designing a form which asks the user to type in a password and then to verify again in the next field. I noticed however, that if I copy and paste from the first password field to the other, the values are not same. It seems my Firefox running on Mac OS X, copies the asterisk graphic instead, which has the value '\x95' Is it possible to copy the underlying text from the password field? Thanks

    Is it possible to display the WinForms "font picker" dialog non-modally? Or is there another font picker other than the standard one that can be used non-modally? Our application has many windows, and users who frequently need to interrupt what they are doing and switch to another window to look at something. This tends to lead to "buried dialog" scenarios with modal dialogs, where the UI is unresponsive, but it isn't immediately apparent why, because the modal dialog that has captured the focus is behind another window.

  • LyX - breaking long formula lines

    How can I break long formulas in LyX into two (or more) lines? I know how to write several lines of equations in one "math box" but I'm looking for a solution to break lines even in the middle of a parenthesis. I'm using LyX 1.6.4 and currently, when the formula is too big, it doesn't do anything (it just doesn't print the last segment of it, which is "beyond" the page). Is this possible in LyX?
