  I'm attempting to display multiple records, with each record displaying its own selection box. I would like to submit this form and pass a hash, having the Add.id function as the key of the hash, and the selection box option pass as the information in the hash. • JQuery UI Datepicker date format issue with initial value

  I need to set the initial date for the date picker to 03/20/2010 in mm-dd-yyyyy format. I have done this <input id='datepicker' type='text' value='20/03/2010' /> But my problem is on clicking the field date picker populates with today's date as highlighed and no date selected, and up on selecting date value But when i change my input field like one below <input id='datepicker' type='text' value='03/20/2010' /> Date picker is populating March 20 as selected date and current date highlighted. But all in 'mm-dd-yyyy' format! I want show all dates in 'dd-mm-yyyy' format. How can I solve this?

• php if clause inside foreach not retrieving data correctly

  Here's my issue: In my controller, I want to grab user input from a form. I then parse the input, and compare it to database values to ensure I'm grabbing the correct input. I simply want to match the user's answers to the question, grab the user ID, the question ID, and then determine if the answer applies to a multiple choice or checkbox question, or something else. I take those values and insert them into the answer table. Ignore the waiver stuff.   Hello, I made a CheckboxList and it will not line up. I don't see any way to control the generated HTML. Right now, the check boxes do not align due to the widths of the <td> of each checkbox label being an automatic width. How can I set the width of this and make all the labels and checkboxes appear in two vertical aligned columns?   Hi, I have a table in my database and I want for each row in my table to have an unique id and to have the rows named sequently. For example: I have 10 rows, each has an id - starting from 0, ending at 9. When I remove a row from a table, lets say - row number 5, there occurs a "hole". And afterwards I add more data, but the "hole" is still there. It is important for me to know exact number of rows and to have at every row data in order to access my table arbitrarily. There is a way in sqlite to do it? Or do I have to manually manage removing and adding of data? Thank you in advance, Ilya.

I'll use SO to ask my question because it's easier to ask it on something that you can see already, but it's not the same, it will just help me understand the right approach. As you can see, there are many questions here and each can have many answers. How should I store the answers in a table? Should I store all the answers in the SAME table with a unique id (make it the key) and just a new field for the question id? What if there are 100,000 answers like there is here? Do I still store them in 1 table? What keys should I use to minimize search time when I want to search for the answers of a specific question? The database is both read and write if that makes any difference in this case.

  I'm using the jQuery validate() plugin for some forms and it goes great. The only thing is that I have an input field that requires a special validation process. Here is how it goes: The jQuery validate plugin is called in the domready for all the required fields.   I used IntentService in my code instead of Service because IntentService creates a thread for me in onHandleIntent(Intent intent), so I don't have to create a Thead myself in the code of my service. I expected that two intents to the same IntentSerivce will execute in parallel because a thread is generated in IntentService for each invent. But my code turned out that the two intents executed in sequential way. • Having Many Problems with Jquery UI 1.8.1 Dialog.js

  Hi I been using the jquery ui for quite a while now. This is the first time using 1.8 though and I am not sure why but it seems to me this plugin has taken steps backwards. I never had so much difficulty to use the Jquery UI as I am having now. First the documentation is out of date. Dependencies * UI Core * UI Draggable (Optional) * UI Resizable (Optional) After line 20mins of trying and getting error after error (like dialog is not a function) I realized that you need some other javascript file called "widget.js" So now I have Jquery 1.4.2.js UI Core.js UI Widget.js UI Dialog.js all on my page. I then did something like this $('#Delete').click(function () { var dialogId = "DeleteDialogBox"; var createdDialog = MakeDialogBox(dialogId, "Delete Conformation"); $('#tabConent').after(createdDialog); dialogId = String.format('#{0}', dialogId); $(dialogId).dialog({ resizable: true, height: 500, width: 500, modal: true, buttons: { 'Delete all items': function() { $(this).dialog('close'); }, Cancel: function() { $(this).dialog('close'); } } }); }); function MakeDialogBox(id, title) { var dialog = String.format('<div id="{0}" title="{1}"></div>', id, title); return dialog; } Now what this should be doing is it makes a where the dialog box should go. After that it should put it right after my tabs. So when watching it with firebug it does this. However once does the .dialog() method it moves the + all the stuff it generates and puts it after my footer. So now I have my dialog box under my footer tucked away in the bottom right hand corner. I want it dead in the center. In previous versions I don't think it mattered where the dialog code was on your page it would always be dead center. So what am I missing? The center.js(I don't know if this exists but seems like you need 100 javascript files now to get this to work proper).

******************************************************************************** Based on my reading of Oracle's documentation of skip scans, a skip scan is most useful when the first column of an index has a low number of unique values. The thing is that the first index of this column is a unique primary key. So am I correct in assuming that a skip scan is the wrong thing to do here? Also, what kind of scan should it be doing? Should I do some more hinting for this query? EDIT: I should also point out that the query's where clause uses the columns in IDX_MBR_IDENTFN and no columns other than what's in that index. So as far as I can tell, I'm not skipping any columns.

Im creating customizable product attributes in a web store - each attribute can have different type of data, each data type is stored in a separate column using corresponding mysql datatype. Now, the problem is that when attribute_types.type equals to ?some-type? i want it to return a value as it's stored in product_attribute_values table. Currently I get BLOb every time. Should I use type-casting or there's some behind-the-scene magic that I dont know about, OR maybe there's some better alternative ?

  I have the below sql query that will update the the values from a form to the database $sql="update leads set category='$Category',type='$stype',contactName='$ContactName',email='$Email',phone='$Phone',altphone='$PhoneAlt',mobile='$Mobile',fax='$Fax',address='$Address',city='$City',country='$Country',DateEdited='$today',printed='$Printed',remarks='$Remarks' where id='$id'"; $result=mysql_query($sql) or die(mysql_error()); echo '<h1>Successfully Updated!!.</h1>'; when i submit I dont get any errors and the success message is displayed but the database isnt updated . When i echo the $sql, all the values are set properly. and when i ech the $result i get the value 1. can someone please tell me what am i doing wrong here??

What wrong with my payload? The response is get is: ["Name can't be blank","Workspace can't be blank"] which leads me to conclude that the authentication works but toggl cannot read my json object.

  This is the webservice method i have LoadImageFromDB(int ID, ref Stream streamReturnVal) I have this on the top of the section using Stream = System.IO.MemoryStream; Whenever i consume this method(update web reference) from a web application, i get this error 'Stream' is an ambiguous reference between 'System.IO.Stream' and 'WebReference.Stream' Any thoughts? • PHP and ajax no update taking place

  Hi There, I have an an ajax request that looks like this, $('input.fakecheck').click(function(){ alert("deleteing...."); $.ajax({ url:"/search", type:"POST", data: $(this).attr('name')+"="+$(this).attr('value')+"&remove=Remove", success:function() { alert(data); } }) }) This calls a php function which looks like this, private function _remove_from_short_list($cv_array) { if (is_array($cv_array)) { $short_list = $this->session->userdata('short_list'); $new_list = array_diff_key($short_list, $cv_array); $this->session->set_userdata('short_list', $new_list); } } Essentiallty what happens is that on my page I have a list which is essentially a list of id's taken out of the session, the user can then by click and input(this will change) delete the id from their session. However once the deletion has taken place I want to be able to refresh the list to show that it has taken place, currently nothing happens, until I manually refresh.
