    I am new to iphone development.I am parsing a XML URL and display the title ,date and summary in a table view.I noticed some of the date were very old like "Wed, 31 Dec 1969 19:00:00 -0500" ,So i don't want to display the dates which are 1 year older than the current year.How to do that? I used the sample code from this site for parsing and display the details.Please help me out.Thanks.

Now I would like to evaluate it under an energy consumption point of view, the base would be to try to calculate the energy wasted to transmit a single packet, do anybody has any idea how to do that?     Hi, I have created a user control ( custom data grid view control). I have used the code specified at MSDN [site][1] [1]: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316574 to set the border style . I am able to see the selected border style in designer. Like None, FixedSingle or Fixed3D. But when I set the border style to FixedSingle, the border does not appear at runtime. Do I need to draw it manually in the OnPaint method?

    I am trying to make a custom selection box for an image view I created and I am trying to use strokeRect: from NSBezierPath but it always seems to be transparent. Called the method set to set the color the blackColor and then also tried using olorWithDeviceRed:green:blue:alpha: but no matter what I have tried the rectangle created always seems to be transparent. Is there a better method to use to draw an empty rectangle?

  • Gtk, How to update GtkViewPort with GtkVBox.

    I am having one GtkVbox and I am adding it to GtkViewPort. View port is created from Glade file. Now the problem is that my vbox keeps updating on every second (I keep adding widgets to vbox on every second) this vbox but my screen did not get updated as add widgets to my vbox. I can't create new vbox every time as I need to keep previously added widgets in vbox. How can I tell GtkViewPort to refresh list when I add new widgets to my GtkVBox?

    Can one use recvmsg() to obtain the IP_TOS field of every incoming packet or does it just show the IP_TOS value that is set for the particular socket. If not, does anyone know of a solution to obtain the IP_TOS values of every incoming packets. I am using a UDP application and therefore do not get to view the IP_TOS field at the application layer as is the case with TCP. Thanks.

    I have a website for public users, but also have an admin part of about 10 pages, that I need to secure for website admin only. If I implement Forms-Based Authentication on the 10 pages, will it also spread across the public part of the website too? i.e. changes in web.config.     I am trying to build an aspx page at runtime (by another aspx page which finally redirects to the new one). As far as I understand, aspx pages MUST be precompiled before a user can view them. In other words, the aspx page must be compiled to the DLL in the /bin folder. Is there a away to tell IIS, or to order it by VB.NET code, to compile a page before I am redirecting my user to the page? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
