• Easily Zoom an Image in Silverlight 3 with slider control

• Easiest way to position camera in XNA?

  Everytime I load my model into XNA, I can usually see it far off in the distance. When I change some parameters and make it zoom up close, 10/10 times it's rotated funny and I'm set with the task of rotating it. Is there any easy way to do it except by experimenting? Or am I exporting it wrong (using Blender)? Is there any value I should set the objects in my 3d scene to be before exporting it so they appear 'upright'?

• Tab bar controller in landscape mode

  Hi to all All my app is in landscape mode .In some point I switch to a screen with Tab Bar Controller , but it's been placed like in portrait mode.I subclassed the UITabBarController and override the method "shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation" to return YES always but because the app is already in landscape , this method is not being called. does anyway have an answer to this? thanks Giald

• SharePoint Error - Datasheet View refuses to show up!

  Hi, Recently the DataSheet view of my list refuses to dispaly. I tried numerouse times and with no luck. Other lists works just fine, except for this one. there is a Java error message on the left bottom corner of the screen that disapears in 2 seconds, then it renders the list in Standard view any time you try it. I even created a new Datasheet View - the result a Standard View. Any suggestions? Thanks,

When we unref builder pointer does it destroys all the screens/widgets the builder had created? if( builder_ptr ) g_object_unref(G_OBJECT(builder_ptr)); Suppose we have created one screen using Glade/XML with some 2-3 top_level windows in it gtk_builder_add_from_file(builder_ptr, "Test.glade", &error ) and generated GtkBuilder pointer (as above) so after deleting this pointer does it deletes created Windows or do we need to manually delete these windows?   I know it's a simple concept but I'm struggling with the font metrics. Centering horizontally isn't too hard but vertically seems a bit difficult. I've tried using the FontMetrics getAscent, getLeading, getXXXX methods in various combinations but no matter what I've tried the text is always off by a few pixels. Is there a way to measure the exact height of the text so that it is exactly centered.

  Hi, Is it possible to stop the automatic preventDefault() from applying in a simple Jquery toggle function? $(".mydiv").toggle( function () { $(this).addClass("blue"); }, function () { $(this).removeClass("blue"); } ); The above prevents elements inside the div from responding normally to the click. It doesn't have to be the toggle() function - anything that allows toggling a class on and off AND doesn't return false would be great. Thanks.

If I create and use this camera, and set LEFT,TOP to 0 and WIDTH=256 and HEIGHT=240, anything I render to the screen will use these coordinates? So a box with a width and height of 1, if set to 0,0 will take up space from 0,0 to 1,1?

  I've been looking around on the dreamweaver interface, and I'm trying to get my design window as an external panel. Reason is, I have a dual monitor system, and I would like to have the main window (where you can have both code/split/design) on my main screen, but with the code selected, and a design view on my secondary monitor. I'm assuming this can't be done, although I have noticed you can have your code as an external panel (Code Inspector). Would like to hear your input. Thanks

• Applying a partial gaussian like blur to a background image

  I have and image which gets stretched to its full background, regardless of the monitor size. What i need to do is apply cross-browser blur above this image on only a portion of the left hand side. So it gives the appearance of a blur on the image. If i apply it to the image then when the screen resolution changes size so does the size of the blur. Any help would be great. Cheers
