    Hi, I had a pending changelist in my workspace. By mistake I reverted one of the files by reverting to depot. Eclipse wiped off the local history. I am not sure if perforce keeps any history for pending changelists. Could someone tell me if it is possible to recover such file. Thanks Nayn

  • DRY way of calling a method in every rails model

    Along the same lines as this question, I want to call acts_as_reportable inside every model so I can do one-off manual reports in the console in my dev environment (with a dump of the production data). What's the best way to do this? Putting acts_as_reportable if ENV['RAILS_ENV'] == "development" in every model is getting tedious and isn't very DRY at all. Everyone says monkey patching is the devil, but a mixin seems overkill. Thanks!

  • Resize text area to fit all text on load jquery

    I understand there has been a lot of discussion on this but I have yet to find a solution to fix my needs. Basically I need to autogrow a text area not when you type but on load. I am pulling in content from a database and dependant on the user's settings an overlay is produced over the text area, but upon doing this the text areas are not scrollable therefore I need to autosize these to show all the text. I have tried scrollHeight but this is not working great as there are multiple text boxes on the screen Thanks

    I have a flow document with images (created from drawings). I have provided a button for the user to enlarge the images (zoom) independently without zooming the text. Is there anyway, I can force the FlowDocumentScrollViewer to display a horizontal scrollbar for scrolling when the images are enlarged? Currently, the enlarged images are simply clipped off.     Rails 3 does some cool stuff to make Javascript unobtrusive, so they've done things like this: = link_to "Logout", user_session_path, :method => :delete ..converts to <a href="/logout" data-method="delete" rel="nofollow">Logout</a> But it just occurred to me.. When I turn off javascript the method isn't DELETE anymore, it's GET as expected. So are there plans to, or is there some way to, allow these data- attributes to degrade gracefully, so that link still is a DELETE request?
