• Django CMS malfunction: Site matching query does not exist

  I've installed all apps in a project, then added a site in the sites section, and deleted example.com. Now Pages section in Django CMS 2.0 isn't working: it raises a DoesNotExist exception: Site matching query does not exist. at http://127.0.0.1:8000/admin/cms/page/ The section worked normally before I deleted the example.com site. In settings.py I have SITE_ID = 2 line. Still, in this call: return Site.objects.get(pk=site_pk) in traceback, site_pk=1. How can I fix this?

• WinForms - Localization - UI controls positions different in additional Culture

  Hi, I did my UI settings.Original language is English. After that I set Localizable property to True. Copied original resx file to frmMain.de-De.resx (for example). Translated all strings. Everything works. But now I would like to change positions of controls. After that changes are visible only for original/primary Culture (En). When I change Culture to de-De then UI controls are on the "old positions"(?!) Is this normal behaviour? :O I'm unable to change controls positions on my form after localization? Can someone explain me this and give some best solution. I really have to change UI design but I don't want to manual copy all translated strings again. If my description is not clear then I can post source code, just please let me know. I use VS 2008. Greetz!

• Need to open links in new tab in ie8 !

  I have a sidebar (right sided iframe) and when i click on a link in it, it opens a new window in IE8, (in firefox it open a new tab). What do i need to do to open links in IE8 in a new tab. I already set the Tools-Internet Options-Settings- 'Always open pop-ups in a new tab' and 'A new tab in the current window' open in new tab but still doesn't work. My links are pretty simple, what am i missing ? exemple: text. Also some site are saying to register Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll to fix this problem, still doesn't work. And i want this to work with a simple click, no 'right-click-open in new tab' option. I also hope i won't get the 'can't change how ie8 works' answer. ;)

I have commented out destructor but still problem persists. SettingsWindow s; s.show(); What do I do wrong ?   Hello, I am trying to use JTidy (jtidy-r938.jar) to sanitize an input HTML string, but I seem to have problems getting the default settings right. Often strings such as "hello world" end up as "helloworld" after tidying. I wanted to show what I'm doing here, and any pointers would be really appreciated: Assume that rawHtml is the String containing the input (real world) HTML. This is what I'm doing: InputStream is = new ByteArrayInputStream(rawHtml.getBytes("UTF-8")); Tidy tidy = new Tidy(); tidy.setQuiet(true); tidy.setShowWarnings(false); tidy.setXHTML(true); ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream(); tidy.parseDOM(is, baos); String pure = baos.toString(); First off, does anything look fundamentally wrong with the above code? • Is there a way to mark up code to tell ReSharper not to format it?

  I quite often use the ReSharper "Clean Up Code" command to format my code to our coding style before checking it into source control. This works well in general, but some bits of code are better formatted manually (eg. because of the indenting rules in ReSharper, things like chained linq methods or multi-line ternary operators have a strange indent that pushes them way to the right). Is there any way to mark up parts of a file to tell ReSharper not to format that area? I'm hoping for some kind of markup similar to how ReSharper suppresses other warnings/features. If not, is there some way of changing a combination of settings to get ReSharper to format the indenting correctly? EDIT: I have found this post from the ReSharper forums that says that generated code sections (as defined in the ReSharper options page) are ignored in code cleanup. Having tried it though, it doesn't seem to get ignored.

Now I can access it through my browser using the following url: http://localhost:8080/MyDynamicWebApp Now I want to change the access url to http://localhost:8080/app I changed the context root from the project properties | Web Project Settings | Context Root But it is not working. The web app still has the access url as earlier. I have re-deployed the application on tomcat, re-started the tomcat and have done everything that should be done but the access url is the same as earlier. I found that there were no server.xml file attached with the WARfile. The how the tomcat is determining that the context root of my web app is /MyDynamicWebApp and is allowing me to access the application through that url

• Breakpoints not working in Delphi 6 DirectShow source filter

  I'm trying to debug my DirectShow source filter. I'm using Delphi Pro 6 on Windows XP along with the DSPACK component library. I'm using Skype as my host application, which I set in the Parameters option in the Run menu, for testing my source filter DLL (ax file extension). Skype runs fine and I see a stream of my OutputDebugString messages in the Event Viewer, but none of my breakpoints are ever hit. In my Project Settings I have optimizations off, stack frames on, debug DCUs on, Range Checking on, and Overflow checking on. Each time I modify my code and run a test I: Do a full build Unregister the DirectShow filter (regsvr32 /u) Register the DirectShow filter (regsvr32) Run Skype as my Host application from the IDE When an Exception occurs, the IDE does trap it and pops up an error dialog box with the option to view the assembler code in the CPU window. However none of my breakpoints are being hit. Can anyone tell me how to get breakpoints working? Thanks.

• App_offline.htm, CSS, images, and aspnet_isapi.dll

  Hey all! So, the site I'm working on is using urlrewriting in coordination with aspnet_isapi.dll (everything is mapped to it). I put up my app_offline.htm file, and all the text shows, however, the CSS or images aren't being served. I'm guessing they're being processed by ASP.NET due to the wildcard mapping instead of IIS. Is this correct? If so, how can I allow IIS to serve these files? • How can I scale the height of a UITextView to fit a changing amount of text?

  I created a nib for a specific view I have. The view has a text field that may change height depending on the amount of text in the view's "represented object". For example, a blog post screen would have to handle different amounts of text as blog posts are not the same length and you obviously only want one nib to represent all blog posts. Here is a screen shot of my nib settings. Do you know what is wrong? I am pretty sure it is just staying at the height I give it. Thanks!

• Injection of banners in my webbrowsers possible malware

  Recently I have started to suspect that I have some kind of virus on my computer. There are 3 symptoms: Banners are being displayed on pages that doesn't use commercials, for instance when viewing screen-shots on Steam. It is only displayed after the rest of the page has been loaded and seems to be injected into it. The whole page is replaced with a commercial with the option to skip the commercial. The page is replaced with a search window claiming that the page could not be found. I have tried to scan my computer with Antivir and Adaware but only found a couple of tracking cookies. I have run HijackThis but since this isn't really my area I haven't been able to discern what shouldn't be there except the line about zonealarm since I have uninstalled it. Is there anyone out there who is able to see if there is anything suspicious in the log-file at the end or has suggestions regarding programs that might be better to find the virus than Antivir and Adaware? • Vista/7 UAC: how to lower process privileges

  Hi all, Is it possible for a process to lower itself from elevated UAC permission back to standard user? If not can the elevated process launch its copy with standard user token and then kill itself? Any code examples (C# preferred)? Details: Problem: - user installs my product (written in C#) - the installer elevates its UAC permission to admin - at the end the installer launches my exe - the exe inherits elevated permissions from admin - the exe mounts network drives which become invisible in Windows Explorer (that runs with regular permissions) Options I considered: 1) break installer into outer exe and inner exe, that runs with elevated permission. The install consists of 1000+ lines of NSIS code and I don't know anything about NSIS 2) mounting drives with lower permissions. If I do it Win Explorer can see the drives but my exe cannot 3) setting EnableLinkedConnection registry option to 1. This is a no-go because it requires PC reboot during the installation. • How can I stop SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 going to sleep?

  I have SSRS 2008 set-up on a server. All works fine except that if left inactive for a length of time the next time a request is made to the server it takes a long time for it to service it. I think this is to do with the worker process being shutdown after being idle for a certain length of time. However, as SSRS 2008 isn't managed through IIS I can't find any settings that I can adjust to stop this from happening. In IIS I'd go to the Performance tab of the Application Pool Properties and choose not to shutdown the worker process. How can I do this for SSRS 2008?

• Problems debugging virtual host with Netbeans

  I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 I installed apache2 and downloaded the php 5.3.2 tar.gz, untarred and compiled. I then installed xdebug via pecl. After that I installed mysql-server and PhpMyAdmin. PhpMyAdmin can change apache2 settings, and now, xdebug is no longer included in my phpinfo(); overview. I've done a search for all possible php.ini files, but the 2 that I've found both link the xdebug.so file correctly. Yet still, Xdebug won't show. I have used and tested /etc/php5/php.ini and that worked, but it seems apache is now using a different php.ini file, and I don't know how to change that setting. • Flash CS4 <b> tag in with htmlText

  Wow, this one is really weird. I have the following setup: Two textfields on the stage with Arial normal and Arial bold, both embedded. I then have another textfield which I am setting like so: tb.htmlText = "Test <b>Test</b>"; For some reason, the bold text is not displaying as bold, but as regular weight. I have tried embedding the fonts in the library, using the [Embed] meta tag and even resorted to using CSS to force the fontFamily. Weirdly, I can use Font.enumurateFonts and see both fonts are embedded, but the textfield refused to use the bold version inside the < b tags. I've been told this is a problem with Flash CS4 on a mac and that it will work on PC. I refuse to believe this is the case, however. Surely Adobe would have fixed this by now? Any help would be appreciated.

  I'm working through the book "The Definitive Guide to Django" and am stuck on a piece of code. This is the code in my settings.py: ROOT_URLCONF = 'mysite.urls' I have the following code in my urls.py from django.conf.urls.defaults import * from mysite.views import hello, my_homepage_view urlpatterns = patterns('', ('^hello/$', hello), ) urlpatterns = patterns('', ('^time/$', current_datetime), ) And the following is the code in my views.py file: from django.http import HttpResponse import datetime def hello(request): return HttpResponse("Hello World") def current_datetime(request): now = datetime.datetime.now() html = "<html><body>It is now %s.</body></html>" % now return HttpResponse(html) Yet, I get the following error when I test the code in the development server. NameError at /time/ name 'current_datetime' is not defined Can someone help me out here? This really is just a copy-paste from the book. I don't see any mistyping.

• Concerting an iTunes iphone OS 4.0 backup to 3.2

  Hello ! I use my 4.0 iPhone for both work and personal stuff. So iTunes keeps, every time I sync my iPhone, a backup in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup. I recently bought an iPad (OS 3.2). I'd like to be able to duplicate my iPhone backup, and restore it on the iPad (so I'll have all my apps settings, passwords, application positions, etc... from the iPhone on the iPad) So, I need to convert the backup from 4.0 to 3.2. I know this is not officially supported by Apple, but has any of you guys figured that out ? There are 5 easily editable files in the backup folder : Info.plist Manifest.mbdb Manifest.mbdx Manifest.plist Status.plist Thanks !

  I am developing smart device application in C#. I am developing this application for 240*320 screen resolution. I want to make this application screen resolution independent so that it can run on different mobile devices with different screen resolutions. Currently I am testing my application on different emulators for platform- Pocket PC 2003, Windows mobile 6 standard SDK & Windows Mobile 6 professional SDK . When I run the application on emulator for 240*320 screen resolution or less than that it works well ( only it provide the horizontal & vertical scrall bar in case of resolution less tha 240*320). If I run my application on emulator with more than 240*320 screen resolution its User Inferface gets badly affected. How to make the smart device application screen resolution independent ? Can you provide me the code or link through which i can resolve the above issue? Is there any setting for making the application screen resolution independent?

• "Requested registry access is not allowed." on Windows 7 / Vista

  I'm attempting to write a key to Registry. It works on Windows XP, but fails on Windows 7 / Vista. The code below throws a Security Exception with description "Requested registry access is not allowed." RegistryKey regKey = Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey("SOFTWARE\\App_Name\\" + subKey, true); I realise that this has to do with the UAC settings, but I couldn't figure out an ideal workaround. I don't want to fork out another process, and may be don't even want to request for any credentials. Just want it to work the same way as on Windows XP. I have modified the manifest file and removed requestedExecutionLevel node. This seems to do the trick. Is there any other possible workaround, and are there any serious flaws with the "manifest" solution?

• Intercept page request behind firewall return altered content with php and apache

  I'm providing free wifi service and need an ad to be added to all page requests. Currently I have a router forwarding all http requests to an apache server, which redirects all requests to an index.php page. The index.php page reads the request, fetches the content from the appropriate site, and edits the content to include the ad. The problem is that all images and css files etc. cannot be accessed, because when the browser tries to get the image <img src="site.com/image.jpg"> it's just redirected back to the index.php. I can change settings for the router (running dd-wrt) and the webserver (apache2 and php 5.2). Is there a solution that allows content to be edited before returning to the client, and allows css and images to be accessed?
