What I want to achieve, is to rotate image inside it 90deg, 180deg or 270deg but always move that image to top left corner of #container. I tried a little bit with transform-origin but I couldn't find any solution.

    Hi, I have a input box on one page that on submit opens a new page with a longer form and the first field is populated with what was entered from the previous pages input box.   • Detecting Screen Resolution to load alternative CSS a good idea?

    Im working with a graphic designer who constantly wants to make websites larger than the 960 pixels i recommend. I can do a certain amount with liquid layouts but id really love to be able to load different CSS for larger resolutions. I googled it and found the link below, but im worried that I havnt heard more about this. Is this is a reliable method?   • OpenLayers: Get resolution of map in a given projection (4326)

    I'm using OpenLayers to display OpenStreetMap maps. (Though, I'd assume this should be general enough to work for any map product...) I'm displaying some very sophisticated vector overlays, and the amount and resolution of the features I'm returning from the server via GeoJSON to overlay has proven too much for many computers. What I'd like to do now instead is to only send data befitting the resolution of the current zoom. This should be relatively easy to do using the getResolution and calculateBounds methods on the Map object. calculateBounds returns a Bounds object that then can be transformed between the map projection and display projection. How do I transform the resolution into my desired projection (4326 in this case)?

  • How to find what element mouse is over in Prototype

    I have a situation where an element is shown using ajax. I have attached mouseenter and mouseleave events to it to show a menu connected to the element using prototype. This works fine, but the problem I am having is that if a user has his/her mouse in the place where the element is shown before it is shown, the mouseenter does not get triggered and the attached menu does not get shown. I already have an afterFinish function that is called after a SlideDown effect, so I was thinking I could put another function in there to check if the users mouse is over the element or not. How would I go about checking what element the users mouse is over in prototype?

  • "Access is denied" iFrame IE

    I have an iframe in b.com which attempts to grab the jQuery library from a.com [my website]. Whenever it does this I get the "Access is Denied" error in both IE7 and IE8. I have checked out Fiddler and it doesnt show that the script is getting blocked - but IE does errors with "Access is Denied" What is causing this prob and how to get around it ? Thx

For instance Id like to fade out a div and fade a new one in on the first keypress, then fade that one out and fade a new one in on keypress. I know you can use regex but I also know people can write their script tags so many ways that you can fool the regex into thinking it is OK. I also heard that HTML Agility Pack is good so I am wondering is there any script removal class made for it?

"rv2" is a jQuery object. Then, what are the first two (rv1_wlength and rv1_wolength)? Furthermore, I don't understand why the inclusion of the length property makes all the difference in filtering the elements. The second method does nothing, since it returns all the elements. The first method, with the only change being the addition of the length property, correctly filters the elements. I would very much like a line-by-line explanation. I would sincerely appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

    I've taken a regular expression from jQuery to detect if a browser's engine is WebKit and gets it's version number, it returns 3 values extracted from the userAgent string: webkit/….…, webkit and ….… [“….…” being the version number]. I would like the regular expression to return just 2 values: webkit and ….…. I'm rubbish at regular expressions, so please can you give an explanation of the expression with your answer. The regular expression I'm currently working with and wish to improve is: /(webkit)[\/]([\w.]+)/. I appreciate all your help, thanks in advance!

  • Getting the date object to work in IE6 (w/ YYYY-MM-DD param)?

    I just got IE6 sprung on me for a project that is going out into the wild soon, which means it's time to go back and comb through all of the CSS and JS. The event_raw_date is in the YYYY-MM-DD format, which date doesn't seem to mind in every other browser... Thoughts?

  • Trouble with Canvas rendering in Safari/Opera

    Been banging my head against this one for a while, and figured I'd turn to the experts for some advice. I've made a jQuery snippet that grabs the values from a table and plots them in a line graph on a canvas element (also generated by the JS). All's well in Firefox and Chrome, but Safari and Opera aren't displaying the plotted points. I've reviewed in Firebug, Web Inspector debugger, JSLint, and checked the markup with the w3 validator, but still can't find anything glaringly obvious. Any chance one of you guys could help me out?   • Dojo: dijit.form.DropDownButton content not positioned correctly

    I have the following setup: <div dojoType="dijit.form.DropDownButton"> <span>Modify</span> <div dojoType="dijit.Menu"> <div dojoType="dijit.MenuItem">...</div> </div> </div> There is of course more to the final setup. The problem I Have is that if I scroll in the page, the popup menu under the DropDownButton comes much higher in the page. I suspect that it's subtracting the scrollOffset for the position off the popup, while in reality that is not needed. Anyone got any tips about how to fix this? I would prefer to use declerative html syntax for using Dojo widgets. == Fixed == I updated to dojo 1.4.2 and this got fixed then.
