    Hello , I would like to query from SQL Server 2000 Database.I have got two tables. They are Purchase and PurchaseDetails. I would like to get product records with Last Purchase ID but I can't query with the following statements.So please help me.   • Problem with LINQ Where Clause

If I use == operator the query works fine. I tried adding brackets to the where clause but it didn't help. Any idea what is missing. Thank you in Advance.

    Hi all, I am looking for a regex query that would allow me to retrieve a value from a string here are examples of my string: home.aspx?StudyID=0020101&aa=72 randompage.aspx?studyid=3023603&aa=40 myconfig.aspx?studyid=0021600&aa=40 I need to get the numerical value of the 'studyid' variable, please note that the name of the page will change so simply doing the substring and counting char spaces didn't work I unfortunately cannot use request.querystring method as this string is stored in the database and a select statement will be used for running this regex query Thanks

  • Oracle Schema Design: Seperate Schema with I/O Overhead?

    We are designing database schema for a new system based on Oracle 11gR1. We have identified a main schema which would have close to 100 tables, these will be accessed from the front end Java application. We have a requirement to audit the values which got changed in close to 50 tables, this has to be done every row. Which means, it is possible that, for a single row in MYSYS.T1 there might be 50 (or more) rows in MYSYS_AUDIT.T1_AUD table. We might be having old values of every column entry and new values available from T1. DBA gave an observation, advising against this method, because he said, separate schema meant an extra I/O for every operation. Basically AUDIT schema would be used only to do some analyse and enter values (thus SELECT and INSERT). Is it true that, "a separate schema means an extra I/O" ? I could not find justification. It appears logical to me, as the AUDIT data should not be tampered with, so a separate schema. Also, we designed a separate schema for archiving some tables from MYSYS. From MYSYS_ARC the table might be backed up into tapes or deleted after sufficient time. Few stats: Few tables (close to 20, 30) in MYSYS schema could grow to around 50M rows. We have asked for a total disk space of 4 TB. MYSYS_AUDIT schema might be having 10 times that of MYSYS but we wont keep them more than 3 months. Questions Given all these, can you suggest me any improvements? Separate schema affects disc I/O? (one extra I/O for every schema ?) Any general suggestions? I have verified that JsonResult UpdateDropDown does actually retrieve valid data. What am I missing? Assembly reference? (NB: I have MicrosoftAjax.js and MicrosoftMvcAjax.js in my head tags of the master page Should JsonResult be ActionResult? (I have seen both used in samples on web) Do I need to register route Controller/UpdateDropDown in Global.asax? Any further guidance would be appreciated.

Now, normally when sorting i C# abc2_ would come after abc_, leaving the result: abc_ abc2_ I am using this to sort, if it matters: var element = from c in elements orderby c.elementName ascending select c; How can i change this? I want abc_ to come last. Reversing is not an option because the list is contains more than two elements.

    Hi, I have two tables: Contact (id,name) Link (id, contact_id, source_id) I have the following query which works that returns the contacts with the source_id of 8 in the Link table. SELECT name FROM `Contact` LEFT JOIN Link ON Link.contact_id = Contact.id WHERE Link.source_id=8; However I am a little stumped on how to return a list of all the contacts which are NOT associated with source_id of 8. A simple != will not work as contacts without any links are not returned. Thanks.

  • Lazy property loading in Nhibernate and Spring

    I'm using NHibernate 2.1.2 and Spring 1.3 I have two Text columns (blobs) in one of my classes. I'm trying to use lazy="true" for the mapping of those properties but NHProfiler still shows the two columns being added to the SELECT statement when the main object is loaded. I'm using Spring.NHibernate session factory and have configured ProxyFactory with both Castle and Spring with no luck.
