When you tap it, a modal view controller comes up which you can select a phone number, address, etc from, and it will appear in the text field.     I have the following table in a SQLite3 database: CREATE TABLE overlap_results ( neighbors_of_annotation varchar(20), other_annotation varchar(20), set1_size INTEGER, set2_size INTEGER, jaccard REAL, p_value REAL, bh_corrected_p_value REAL, PRIMARY KEY (neighbors_of_annotation, other_annotation) ); I would like to perform the following query: SELECT * FROM overlap_results WHERE (neighbors_of_annotation, other_annotation) IN (('16070', '8150'), ('16070', '44697')); That is, I have a couple of tuples of annotation IDs, and I'd like to fetch records for each of those tuples. The sqlite3 prompt gives me the following error: SQL error: near ",": syntax error How do I properly express this as a SQL statement?

  • Query Results Not Expected

    I've been a CF developer for 15 years and I've never run into anything this strange or frustrating. I've pulled my hair out for hours, googled, abstracted, simplified, prayed and done it all in reverse. Can you help me? A cffunction takes one string argument and from that string I build an array of "phrases" to run a query with, attempting to match a location name in my database. For example, the string "the republic of boulder" would produce the array: ["the","republic","of","boulder","the republic","the republic of","the republic of boulder","republic of","republic of boulder","of boulder"]. Another cffunction uses the aforementioned cffunction and runs a cfquery. A query based on the previously given example would be... select locationid, locationname, locationaliasname from vwLocationsWithAlias where LocationName in ('the','the republic','the republic of','republic','republic of','republic of boulder','of','of boulder','boulder') or LocationAliasName in ('the','the republic','the republic of','republic','republic of','republic of boulder','of','of boulder','boulder') This returns 2 records... locationid - locationname - locationalias 99 - 'Boulder' - 'the republic' 68 - 'Boulder' - NULL This is good. Works fine and dandy. HOWEVER... if the string is changed to "the republic", resulting in the phrases array ["the","republic","the republic"] which is then used to produce the query... select locationid, locationname, locationaliasname from vwLocationsWithAlias where LocationName in ('the','the republic','republic') or LocationAliasName in ('the','the republic','republic') This returns 0 records. Say what?! OK, just to make sure I'm not involuntarily HIGH I run that very same query in my SQL console against the same database in the cf datasource. 1 RECORD! locationid - locationname - locationalias 99 - 'Boulder' - 'the republic' I can even hard-code that sql within the same cffunction and get that one result, but never from the dynamically generated SQL. I can get my location phrases from another cffunction of a different name that returns hard-coded array values and those work, but never if the array is dynamically built. I've tried removing cfqueryparams, triple-checking my datatypes, datasource setups, etc., etc., etc. NO DICE WTF!? Is this an obscure bug? Am I losing my mind? I've tried everything I can think of and others (including Ray Camden) can think of. ColdFusion 8 (with all the latest hotfixes) SQL Server 2005 (with all the greatest service packs) Windows 2003 Server (with all the latest updates, service packs and nightly MS voodoo)

    Hi all, I have a task where the user can select an image from a GridView representing a photo album, and from this I start a new activity which displays a Gallery widget to show the images of the photo album. However, I can't seem to get the Gallery widget to show the contents of the photo album with a given image as the starting point.     I need to make the "WE8EBCDIC500" character set available in an Oracle XE installation (on my desktop) to import a mainframe-generated file. Running SELECT value FROM v$nls_valid_values WHERE parameter='CHARACTERSET' does not show this character set to be installed and I get KUP-03006: error initializing handle for character set WE8EBCDIC500 when attempting to use it.     Background: I have an ASP.NET page which has a numebr of user controls within it. There are 2 user controls which are of interest. I need to display either one of them or neither of them, depending on the record selected previously. In the user controls I need to set properties of some controls which are in a FormView. So in my user control code-behind I have a number of properties which look something like this: Private ReadOnly Property phSectionReports() As PlaceHolder Get Return fvConfirmationReport.FindControl("phSectionReports") End Get End Property The problem: I am having problems with this Property. Sometimes it is returning Nothing/Null and sometimes it is throwing a NullArgumentException with the message "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: container". The exception is coming from trying to reference the fvConfirmationReport variable. fvConfirmationReport is the ID of my FormView in the page itself. So I am really after things to look for and if any ideas what sort of conditions (e.g stage in page cycle, etc.) might lead to this? An example stack trace is included below.     I'm using microsoft dynamics crm 4 I inserted the following line to restrict a customer lookup to contacts only (no accounts): crmForm.all.customerid.setAttribute("lookuptypes", "2"); It does restrict the lookup to contacts only, but there is a strange bug: When i select any customer, the icon next to him becomes the account icon, not the contact icon (folder instead of card) Any solutions to this ?

    Hello, I am working on a Javascript WYSIWYG editor in Firefox. I am using a div with the contenteditable attribute set to true in order to accomplish this (I cannot use a contenteditable iframe for this particular project). This contenteditable div is nested in another div that is not contenteditable. I am encountering the following two problems when using execCommand to apply formatting, including font style and size, as well as bold, italic, and underline: When all text in the div is selected, execCommand simply does not work. execCommand works fine when only part of the text is selected, but does nothing when all of the text is selected. Applying formatting with no text selected yields unexpected results. For example, when calling execCommand('bold') with no text selected and then typing results in bold text being typed until a spacebar is inserted, at which point the bold formatting is lost (until another space is inserted, interestingly enough; then the text becomes bold again). To see what I mean, please try running the following HTML code in Firefox 3: <html> <head><title></title></head> <body> <button onClick="execCommand('bold', false, null);">Bold</button> <div style="width: 300px; border: 1px solid #000000;"> <div contenteditable="true">Some editable text</div> </div> </body> </html> Please try the following: Select the word "Some" only. Click the Bold button. This will make the text bold, as expected. Select the entire phrase "Some editable text" (either manually or using CTRL-A). Click the Bold button. Nothing happens. This demonstrates the first bug shown above. Hit the backspace key to clear the div. Click the Bold button and begin typing. Type a few words with spaces. This will demonstrate the second bug. Any ideas on what could be causing these problems and how to work around them would be greatly appreciated!
