• List of header file locations for the Havok Physics Engine

  Hello everyone! I am trying to integrate the Havok physics engine into my small game. It is a really nice SDK, but the header files are all over the place. Many headers are deeply nested in multiple directories. That gets confusing when you are trying to include headers for different important objects. I would like to know if there is a nice guide that will let you know where certian objects are and what headres they are in. I have already looked at Havok's documentation, and I also looked at the reference manual, but they don't give great detail as to where certain classes are located (header location). Also, is there any programs out there that can scan header files and create a list of where objects can be found? Thanks again

  I have been using Netbeans for my java desktop application since few months. Now in the middle of the project, I want to switch over to Eclipse as the Netbeans once corrupted my GUI and I had to re-create several parts of the GUI and now it is displaying a compiler error as code too large private void initComponents() { 1 error "code too large" is a strange error. My code which it is saying too large is just 10,000 lines long. I came to know first time that we couldn't develop long code in Netbeans :) So instead of going into detail, I want to switch to Eclipse. I have never used it before. So could please tell me how to import my incompleted Netbeans project into eclipse.

  At my company we are trying to add code reviewing practices into our development process and for that purpose we decided to use Review Board. While Review Board should work out of the box for Subversion the workflow for Mercurial looks a little bit involved. Firstly it seems that only post reviewing(via post-review script) is supported for this type of repo. Secondly documentation is unclear whether post-review actually supports Mercurial(it only mentions git). Could you folks describe your workflow in detail please?   Hello everyone, Here is the thing. I currently have a tabBar controller, with several navigation controllers in it. Just like this : http://tof.canardpc.com/view/d27d1361-c81b-43a0-9b5b-abb13d78e422.jpg In my first navigation controller, i have a view controller called NewsViewsController. Here is its nib (see picture). My goal is to show/hide the subviews (with tableview inside) according to the position of the segmented control. This way, I can have two separates viewControllers for each tableview. This is actually working. And here is the result (see picture). My problem is the following one. When i try to click on a cell, the pushview doesn't work. Indeed my self.navigationController is null. How can i push my detail view using the parent navigation controller ? Is the architecture of my application wrong ? Thank you =)

• How do I localize the jQuery DatePicker?

  I really need a localized dropdown calendar. An English calendar doesn't exactly communicate excellence on a Norwegian website ;-) I have experimented with the jQuery DatePicker, their website says it can be localized, however that doesn't seem to work. I am using ASPNET.MVC, and I really want to stick to one javascript library. In this case jQuery. The ajax toolkit calendar would be acceptable, if only it too would display Norwegian names. Update: Awesome! I see I am missing the language files, a not so minor detail :-)

  I want to use encryption algorithm available in .Net Security namespace, however I am trying to understand how to generate the key, for example AES algorithm needs 256 bits, that 16 bytes key, and some initialization vector, which is also few bytes. Can I use any combination of values in my Key and IV? e.g. all zeros in Key and IV are valid or not? I know the detail of algorithm which does lots of xors, so zero wont serve any good, but are there any restrictions by these algorithms? Or Do I have to generate the key using some program and save it permanently somewhere?

• What is dmake actually doing when installing a new module?

  I just mangaged to install the perl/Tk module after much struggle. I realise I don't understand what dmake or make etc is actually doing. I am using strawberry perl installed at C:\strawberry. Fisrt I unpacked the module to another directory and ran perl makefile.pl which worked fine. Then I tried dmake which did not work. I guess that will be obvious to people who know how this works. When I placed the module as a sub-directory of C:\strawberry I could run perl makefile.pl, dmake, dmake test and dmake install. My guess is that dmake install is adding some executable files to the interpreter and to work the module must be in a subdirectory. Is there any article anywhere that explains what it is doing in detail?

  We've got a web-based application. There is a time-bound database operation (INSERTs and UPDATEs) in the application which takes more time to complete, hence this particular flow has been changed into Java Thread so it will not wait (block) for the complete database operation to be completed. My problem is, if more than 1 user come across this particular flow, I'm facing the following error thrown by PostgreSQL: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: deadlock detected Detail: Process 13560 waits for ShareLock on transaction 3147316424; blocked by process 13566. Process 13566 waits for ShareLock on transaction 3147316408; blocked by process 13560. Above error is consistently thrown in INSERT statements. Additional Information: 1) I have PRIMARY KEY defined in this table. 2) There are FOREIGN KEY references in this table. 3) Separate database connection is passed to each Java Thread.   Hi, I am writing a Core Data-based iPhone app and I am new to Objective-C. I have a bug that I am really struggling to nail. • Jquery tabs and forms

  Hi, this may be a weird problem but I’m not sure the best way to go about it.. I am using JQuery ajax tabs. The tab section is dynamic so multiple tabs can be added, as the content is loaded via Ajax the same content can be loaded into different tabs. The other important detail is that i am using the Cache option so the tabs maintain state. Now problems arise when more than one tab has been loaded. It looks like HTML items such as forms and divs now have duplicated id's within the DOM, so Ajax queries can no longer distinguish between the elements.. The result is that any JavaScript/Ajax breaks. Does anyone have any suggestions for way to tackle such a problem? Thanks in advance..

• iPhone Advanced table view cells example

  I have been going through and re-creating Apple's "Advanced Table View Cells" example to better understand everything. I have done everything, but somehow missed one detail and I can't figure it out. If you launch their example (http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/samplecode/AdvancedTableViewCells/Introduction/Intro.html) and open up the RootViewController.xib file, they have a "tableView" outlet on the inspector that is linked to File's Owner. For whatever reason, I can't get that to show up on my version. My code is almost verbatim of Apple's, so what am I missing? Did I not declare that somewhere or doesn't that get taken from the RootViewController.m file?

Now i have a splitview with a rootview / leftview that has a table and detailview / rightView that has some view controller pushed into it's navigationcontroller. So this is what i want to achieve: When i tap on a tablerow on my rootView , i want my detail view to push a viewController associated with that row... any ideas ? • Access 2007 VBA : Building a listbox with selection choices from another list box

  So there are 8 categories that may be associated to each order, but not necessarily all of them. So i was going to build a list box that allowed the user to double click each of the category they wish to associate when they have an "Order Detail" form opened up (unbound form that has hidden text boxes with all needed ID numbers). I want to have another empty text box right beside it that will allow me to append the selections (up to 8) so the user can see that they have been added. So one list box with the default choices, and when a choice is double clicked, it adds that choice to the second list box to see the tally so to speak.   I have read a few books on OOP DDD/PoEAA/Gang of Four and none of them seem to cover the topic of validation - it seems to be always assumed that data is valid. I gather from the answers to this post (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1651964/oop-design-question-validating-properties) that a client should only attempt to set a valid property value on a domain object. There are to be a series of elements to this form that require various styles applied to them. Ideally I'd like the VS 2005/2008 properties interface to be able to apply the CSSClass as it does at the control level, i.e. with a dropdown list of available CSS Clases. • JetBrains dotTrace, is it possible to profile source code line by line? else I need another tool

  I am using JetBrains dotTrace, I've profiled my app which is entirely CPU bound. But the results as you walk down the tree don't sum to the level above in the tree, I only see method calls not the body lines of the node in questions method. Is it possible to profile the source code line by line. i.e for one node: SimulatePair() 99.04% --nextUniform() 30.12% --IDCF() 24.08% So the method calls nextUniform + IDCF use 54% of the time in SimulatePair (or 54% total execution time I'm not sure how to read this) regardless what is happening the other 46% of SimulatePair I need some detail on a line by line basis. Any help or alternative tools is much appreciated. Thanks

I have many classes that derive from a base handler: class BaseHandler(webapp.RequestHandler): def get(self, CSIN=None): self.body(CSIN) Does this mean that the body() method of every descendant class needs to have the same argument? This is cumbersome. Only one descendant actually uses that argument. And what about when I add new args?
