  • Framework/tool for processing C++ unit tests with numerical output

    Hi, I am working on a C++ application that uses computer vision techniques to identify various types of objects in a sequence of images. The (1000+) images have been hand-classified, so we have an XML file for each image containing a description of where the objects are actually located in the images. I would like to know if there is a testing framework that can understand/graph results from tests that are numeric, in this case some measure of the error in the program's classification of the images, rather than just pass/fail style unit tests. We would like to use something like CDash/CTest for running these automated tests, and viewing over time how improvements to the vision algorithms are causing the images to be more correctly classified. Does anyone know of a tool/framework that can do this?

I would like to send this XML to some file and prompt the user to save it on their disk (all this happens in the browser at the client, no server interaction whatsoever). Is this at all possible?     I'm employing color in a current AS3 project, and have come across what appears to be an error in the Flash Player (version 10). it might also be an error with Apple's DigitalColor Meter (version 3.7.2), which is what i'm using to sample the displayed colors on Mac OS X Snow Leopard (version 10.6.3). //Primary, secondary, and tertiary colors of the RGB color wheel var red:Number = 0xFF0000; var orange:Number = 0xFF7D00; var yellow:Number = 0xFFFF00; var chartreuse:Number = 0x7DFF00; var green:Number = 0x00FF00; var spring:Number = 0x00FF7D; var cyan:Number = 0x00FFFF; var azure:Number = 0x007DFF; //reads 0x0077FF var blue:Number = 0x0000FF; var violet:Number = 0x7D00FF; var magenta:Number = 0xFF00FF; //reads 0xFF00F8 var rose:Number = 0xFF007D; //reads 0xFF0077 all of these colors display normally except for 3: Azure, Magenta and Rose. they are coded with the appropriate number, but when i use the color meter to sample the displayed colors, those 3 return inaccurate results. anyone have any insight about this issue? what is causing the error, the Flash runtime or the color sampler? if it's the Flash player, could this problem be much deeper? *sampling this image will return inaccurate results due to .jpg compression. it's simply for illustration

    Is it possible to deceive SQL Server to return a different date on GetDate() without actually changing the machine date? This would be great, since we have a database with old data and I'm trying to test some queries that use getdate(). I can change my machine date but that brings some other problems with other applications... Any tips? Thanks!

    I am trying to use mod_rewrite to generate cleaner urls. I have the following in my .htaccess Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^mypage.php$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/mypage [R=301,L] The objective is to go from https://mysite.com/mypage.php to https://mysite.com/mypage This gives me a 404 error. I don't actually have the directory mypage/ existing. But from my understanding, I don't need to actually have mypage for mod_rewrite to work. What am I doing wrong?

  • Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer large data output is damaged

    I use Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer to generate .xls file and it works fine until I have to deal with a large amount of data. On certain stage it just writes some nonsense chars and quits filling certain columns. However some columns are field up to the end (generally numeric data) I'm not quite sure how the xls document is formed: row by row, or col by col... Also it is obviously not an error in a string, because when i cut out some data, the error appears a little bit further.     Under a tight deadline and I know I can figure this out eventually but I don't have much time to do it on my own. I have a table that has columns for customer id and account number among many other additional columns. There could be many accounts for a single customer (Many rows with the same customer id but different account number). For each customer in the table I need to call a stored procedure and pass data from my table as xml in the following format. Notice that the xml is for all of the customers accounts. <Accounts> <Account> <AccountNumber>12345</AccountNumber> <AccountStatus>Open</AccountStatus> </Account> <Account> <AccountNumber>54321</AccountNumber> <AccountStatus>Closed</AccountStatus> </Account> </Accounts> So I guess I need help with 2 things. First, how to get the data in this xml format. I assuming I'll use some variation of FOR XML. The other thing is how do I group by customer id and then call a sproc for each customer id?

    The framework I'm using on my project follows the MVC Pattern. I"M building JSON feeds and need to structure them in a different way then what the system gives me by default from the ORM. Where should I be handling the task of mangling and shaping my data that I'll serve up, in the model, view or controller? Right now I'm doing it in my controller, then passing that data to the view. I can see this fitting better under the Model or the View but not sure which one.
