• How to force HtmlUnit to save page?

  Hello. I'm using HtmlUnit to click on a HtmlElement that triggers Javascript action: currentPage = ((HtmlElement) currentPage.getByXPath("//*[contains(@onclick, 'check();')]").get(0)).click(); The element is: <a href="#" onclick="check(); return false;"> The page returned is quite similar to the page, containing that element: same URL, mostly same HTML, but there are some minor differences in the HTML and HtmlUnit doesn't save the new page. I'm using HttpAnalyzer to sniff the traffic and I see that the Webclient correctly handles JS and send the right request. The response is also correct, but when I dump the contents of the currentPage to a file, I see that the actual page didn't change. How can I fix it?

  Probably I missed something, but lets say I have this: $('a.delete').click(function(){ resp=window.confirm("Are you sure you want to delete this?"); if(resp) return true; else return false; } Now, I want to save that callback function into a separate js file, because I will use it in several pages. My logic told me to do this: $('a.del').click(delete_element()); Having my js file like this: function delete_element(){ resp=window.confirm("Are you sure you want to delete this?"); if(resp) return true; else return false; } This doesn't work. Everytime my page loads, it displays the confirm window, even if I haven't clicked the link. It is clear that my logic failed this time. What am I missing?

• How to: Save order of tabs when customizing tabs in UITabBarController

  I am having problems finding any other information than the docs for how to save the tab order for my UITabBarController, so that the user's customization is saved for next app launch. I have searched online, but have been unable to find any blog posts or articles that goes through the proper code for doing this. I realize I have to use the delegate methods for the UITabBarController (didEndCustomizingViewControllers:) but I am not sure how I best approach persistance in terms of saving the state of the order the user wants the tabs in. Can someone post some code, point me in the right direction or perhaps you have a link for something saved? :) Thanks

• Django/Python: Save an HTML table to Excel

  I have an HTML table that I'd like to be able to export to an Excel file. I already have an option to export the table into an IQY file, but I'd prefer something that didn't allow the user to refresh the data via Excel. I just want a feature that takes a snapshot of the table at the time the user clicks the link/button. I'd prefer it if the feature was a link/button on the HTML page that allows the user to save the query results displayed in the table. Is there a way to do this at all? Or, something I can modify with the IQY? I can try to provide more details if needed. Thanks in advance.

• How to run a .exe with dll in different location

  I am working in C# and implementing Plugin Management feature to our application. I look through dll and exe to load up plugins that are in a specific folder say Plugins. These plugin applications have their own folder when they are installed and I will copy over the plugin application exe/dll to the Plugins folder. However, there are some plugin applications that requires other dlls to run, but I want to minimize the duplication. Is there a way that I can just copy over the .exe to the Plugins folder and have the other dependent dll files locate in other folder? How would I load the the plugin in c# if the .exe and .dll is not in the same location? Thanks.

• Building XCode From Command Line Issues (Updating Entitlements file location)

  The first error is a warning for complier 'com.apple.compilers.gcc.4_0' I don't know if this is okay and I can just not worry about it. The second tells me that my entitlements file is no longer at that location. I know this and I thought I had correctly updated it in Xcode's info window. This project builds fine in Xcode.   In a managed bean you have fields, and the fields have getters and setters. But I also need to save values back to, in this case, a Notes profile document. So I have a loadProfileDocument and a saveProfileDocument method. I was thinking of using the bean in the application scope. How do I make sure the profile document is saved? Do I have to call the saveProfileDocument from the setter? Do I call the saveProfileDocument() explisitly? Could I use a destructor (finalize)? Or what...???...

• Visual Studio creating bin/ folder in wrong location.

  In Visual Studio 2008, I have a solution with a number of projects. Each project has the same build output path of "..\bin\Debug\" for debug, and "..\bin\Release\" for release. So the directory structure looks like this: solution\ bin\ project1\ project2\ project3\ This all works fine, all the assemblies go to the correct location when I build the project, etc. Howevever, when I first open the solution in Visual Studio, an empty bin folder is created one level up from where it should. So I am getting: bin\ solution\ bin\ project1\ project2\ project3\ This folder is only created when I first open the solution. Never when I build. I have looked through the .sln and every .csproj file, and I cannot work out why this folder is being created. So, my questions are: a) Why is this bin folder being created? b) How do I stop Visual Studio from creating this bin folder?

What I would like to do is Open a excel file that is the XLTemplatePath and the either rename or save the file at the XLSaveReportPath and then use that renamed/saved file to fill the report out.   I'm trying to dynamically run a .jar from a C# assembly (using Process.Start(info)). Now, from a console application I am able to just run: ProcessStartInfo info = new ProcessStartInfo("java", "-jar somerandom.jar"); In an assembly, however, I keep getting a Win32Exception of "The system cannot find the file specified" and have to change the line to the full path of Java like so: ProcessStartInfo info = new ProcessStartInfo("C:\\Program Files\\Java\\jre6\\bin\\java.exe", "-jar somerandom.jar"); This obviously won't do. I need a way to dynamically (but declaratively) determine the installed location of Java. I started thinking of looking to the registry, but when I go there I noticed that there were specific keys for the versions and that they could not even be guaranteed to be numeric (e.g. "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.6" and "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.6.0_20"). What would be the most reliable "long-haul" solution to finding the most up-to-date java.exe path from a C# application? Thanks much in advance.

How can i make it so i return to the page the item is in? • Saving a movie generated with Jython/JES on local disk

  I made an autogenerated movie clip using JES (Jython Environment for Students). I can play it without any problem using playMovie(), but I can't figure out how to have it saved physically on disk. This error sounds like a java bug in Jython/JES library. I am running JES under Windows 7 and have all the common Quicktime and AVI codex installed as well as the QTjava library in my jre... Any brilliant idea ? EDIT : Also tried the Linux version with same result for both QuickTime and AVI...
