    Seeking a method to: Take whitespace separated tokens in a String; return a suggested Word ie: Google Search can take "fonetic wrd nterpreterr", and atop of the result page it shows "Did you mean: phonetic word interpreter" A solution in any of the C* languages or Java would be preferred. Are there any existing Open Libraries which perform such functionality? Or is there a way to Utilise a Google API to request a suggested word?

    Certain websites like Twitter, Flickr, etc avoid being stuck within an iframe. Is there any way to stop this from happening? I just need to see the public data so I am open to disabling Javascript, etc. How do I disable Javascript running on the iframe? Is this possible?

  • Mailto links are not working in Chrome

    Mailto links are not working at all in Chrome (8.0.552.224). These links are working in IE 7&8, Safari, and Firefox. In Chrome, we are clicking on mailto links (we have tested this about 25 times now), and things just go into the ether. In all other browsers, we click on the mailto links, they open up email clients (gmail, outlook, and others), and we can send the email. But in Chrome, we click the mailto links and nothing happens...

  • Distributing an executable zip file with __main__.py, how to access extra data?

    I'm doing a little program and I want to distribute using this recipe: single directory with _main_.py in it zip this directory and echo #!/usr/bin/env python\n file.zip making it executable The problem is that in this package I have also extra files (I'm using pygtk toolkit and I need images and ui xml files). When I try to access these files I have the error that the resource is unavailable (the path that I'm trying to open is something like file.zip/gui/gui.ui ). How can I handle this situation?

    I am interacting with a third party application using it's API, and would like to move it to the front of focus (so that it is on top of all other open windows) when a user performs a certain action. While I can move my application up and down in the hierarchy pretty easily, there doesn't appear to be a way to interact with other windows.     I have a file that exists within a text and a binary image, I need to read from 0 to 30 position the text in question, and the position on 31 would be the image in binary format. What are the steps that I have to follow to proceed with that problem? After reading the info (plain text) it looks a bit ugly.   • Calling Windows commands (e.g. del) from a GNU makefile

    It does not appear to be possible to call Windows system commands (e.g. del, move, etc) using GNU Make. When the following rule is run, an error is reported del: command not found: clean: del *.o This is presumably because there is no such execuatable as "del". I've also tried running it as an option to cmd but with this only seems to open a new prompt: clean: cmd /C del *.o I'm using GNU Make 3.79.1 that is bundled as part of MSys.

    How come this pop-up gets a size other than what I have specified, when testing it in IE6 and FireFox 3.6? Firefox displays it correctly but IE6 is smaller for some reason.
