  • PHP to Mesh 2 PDF'S Together or not?

    I have an already pre-designed PDF, and I would like to fill the PDF with some database information. So I'm curious if I should save the PDF into JPG's and render them out with the data on top of the image and re-create a PDF. Or is there a way to use the PDF already, and print data into the PDF that is already made? I am trying to figure out the best solution to generating this type of PDF. All thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello! I have a datagridview and a combobox which get populated randomly with data. However, the new data is never displayed automatically. Someone mentioned the idea of invalidating the control to force the application to redraw it and thus iterate through the contents and populate the control with the new data.     I know that when parsing XML with objective-c most of the time you use NSXMLParser. But what if you only need to read one element. Using NSXMLParser sounds like an overload to me. The issue is that flickr API doesn't use JSON as response when uploading an image. So my response now is: 4638598522 I only need to know the photoid and I like to know what the best solution will be for this.

  • How to provide an own contentView for using -drawRect?

    I want to use -drawRect: in an UITableViewCell subclass but it is covered by contentView. So the best option seems to be that I make a UIView subclass with my -drawRect: code and use that as contentView. But how could I feed my UITableViewCell subclass with that contentView? UITableViewCell creates that on its own when the contentView property is accessed. Would I simply override the getter method and then provide my own view there?

  • What's right for me: htAccess, form submittion, HTTP header authentication w/ PHP?

I am wondering what form of authentication would be best for my use? I have heard the if you are just dealing with a websites then a web form is for you (because it's prettier). HTTP header authentication with PHP is said to get clunky/sloppy. htAcess is pretty much the hard core of various authentication methods I have looked up, but is it too much?

  • TTCPServer limited to 10 connections?

    I've created a TCP server NT-Service in Delphi 6, I've tried Indy components, Ararat Synapse components, and am now trying just plain old TTcpServer to see which would perform best while using the least resources. I'm surprised to see that the live instance of the service (running on Windows Server) is still limited to 10 connections! Any new connections are forcibly disconnected. Have I missed something? Do I need to set a property or override a method of TCustomTcpServer?

    Hi all, i am currently working on a web application that needs to accept video uploaded by users in any format (.avi, .mov, etc.) and convert them to flv for playing in a flash-based player. Since the site is OpenCms-based, the best solution would be a ready-made plugin for OpenCms that allowed to upload and play videos doing the transcode operation in background, but just a set of Java classes to do the transcode would be great and then i could make the uploading form and playback part on my own.
