No user's processes are in D-sleep and unkillable. No processes are trying to detect and ptrace or terminate this started killall. E.g. if killall will finish untampered and successfully is it 100% that no processes are left with this uid?

• Bluetooth not detecting any devices in Windows 7

  My Lenovo ThinkPad E320 Laptop running Windows 7 64bit has recently been refusing to detect any Bluetooth devices. I have tried to connect, using 'Add devices' under 'devices and printers' to two different Bluetooth mice and my HTC Wildfire android (2.2.1) phone and none of them are detected in the 'Add a device' dialog. History - Bluetooth initially seemed OK when I first got this laptop. I was able to connect to and use my android phone as a remote with no issues. I got my first Bluetooth mouse, it paired, but after each restart, or even after sleeping, it would not 're-connect' (even though it was listed under Bluetooth devices and supposedly 'working'), and I would need to remove the device and add it again. A week or two ago it stopped working all together. It is not detected at all. I gave up on the mouse and bought another (Lenovo ThinkPad brand) only to find that it was not detected either. I subsequently tested my Android phone and discovered it would not detect either. One thing of note is under 'Devices and Printers' there is listed a 'HID Keyboard Device' which under properties is listed as a 'Bluetooth HID Device'. This was not previously there before this problem started. Each time I remove it, or uninstall it from Device Manager it will quickly re-install itself, even with all my Bluetooth devices switched off. My (Google and searching this site) research of this issue has not yielded any definitive answers. I have changed the setting under Device Manager - Bluetooth - Properties - Power Management - 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' to off. I have attempted to un-install and re-install the Bluetooth hardware, including the 'remove drivers' option and downloading and running the Lenovo Bluetooth installer package (found @ http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS014997). Bluetooth is turned on. All items under Bluetooth properties (Discovery and Connections) are checked. I have tried changing the batteries. I'm not sure what else I can try, apart from perhaps doing a fresh install of Windows. Any suggestions?

• Nagios test of smtp configuration

  Is there a way of configuring a nagios check that a smtp service is correctly configured and emails are going out. I have a check that the service is running, but recently we noticed that the configuration had been altered and no emails where going out, but the service was still running. One idea I had was to schedule a regular email to be sent, is it possible for nagios to check for that email and throw an alert if it didn't detect it? Any other ideas to monitor this gratefully received.

• What file or directory is unique to Plesk and unlikely to change in the future?

  I am writing a program that needs to be able to detect the presence of various web hosting control panels. I don't use Plesk, or have access to a server running Plesk, so I am unable to ascertain what file or directory I could test for to reliably conclude that the system is running Plesk. What file or directory indicates "Yes, this has Plesk installed" that is unlikely to ever change in the future, but would be present on all versions of Plesk out in the wild? Thanks in advance :)

  Hi All, Is it possible to hyperlink a url in excel automatically. I mean when the cell starts with something like http or www can I hyperlink that. Currently, I have to hit enter in the cell value in the formula bar to make the link as clickable. Also if I change the value in the cell, the link doesnt get refreshed until I hit enter. Is there a way in excel where it will automatically detect and apply a hyperlink.

• Split (parts of) image into several smaller (same size) pieces non-manually

  If I have an image with a table containing several rows, say like the periodic table: Are there any tool I can use to split this into one smaller image with the H He row, another image for the Li Be ... Ne row, etc? The tool does not have to detect the row borders by itself, specifying a start offset + row height in pixels is ok. Manually selecting and cutting/copying in gimp is not an option, I have way to many rows to process.

• Program to set time on local computer using GPS data

Generally, the laptop will not have access to the open sky so getting a strong, multi-satellite connection is not likely. • Watchguard XTM blocking login attempts

  routinely I'm seeing lots of login attempts to my mail server trying out various login names starting from A to Z coming from the one IP on one day and another IP on another day. Is there any means to detect this type of activities and block accordingly? I asked Watchguard and it appears they don't support this on their XTM series.   I installed KeepassX on my new Mac which I am still learning the ropes on. I downloaded the program to allow autofill on Chrome ( KeePassHttp.plgx ). It says it needs to be put into directory of KeepassX, but I can't drag it into the application file and I'm not sure yet how to manipulate Terminal. Is terminal what I need to use or is there another way to put it in directory? At this point it is on the Chrome interface, but says it can't detect or make a connection with KX

• mysqldump trigger crashed tables

The exception emails I was getting said "Table './core/content' is marked as crashed and should be repaired". My question is basically, can mysqldump cause tables to crash, if so how and why? I use the spelling check quite often, but I need to swap between english and spanish all the time according to the website. Since chrome can detect the webpage language, it would be great to have the spell check set to that language by default.
