• JTable Delete All Rows Exception

  Hi, I'm trying to delete all entrys from my abstractTableModel. As long as I don't delete the last remaining row, everything works fine, but as soon as I delete this one, I get an ArrayOutOfBoundsException. I'm using a DefaultRowSorter and this seems to be the Exception.   I'm writing my first ASP.NET MVC application and there is one big problem for me. I want to make a control which will represent a form, but when I try to generate labels and textboxes it returns to me empty page. • How to let m2eclipse use nexus repositories instead of maven one

  I have this situation: An artifact in maven local repo that I don't want to use anymore. Instead, I want it to be downloaded by maven from proxied nexus remote repository. It's a typical situation cause a lot of artifacts are called just name-SNAPSHOT and the artifact is changing but the name is still the same. Eclipse with m2eclipse is running. I delete the entire directory of the artifact in local maven repo m2eclipse "Reindex local maven repository" - which creates a new nexus index for local maven repo I guess Project - maven Update Dependencies - now m2eclipse should run maven, which doesn't see the artifact in local maven repo, so it uses nexus repositories to download it (expected behavior) Instead, the directory structure in maven local repo is recreated and there is this file: "m2e-lastUpdated.properties" with following inside: local|http\://nexus\:8082/nexus-webapp-1.6.0/content/groups/public|javadoc=1274399332215 local|http\://nexus\:8082/nexus-webapp-1.6.0/content/groups/public|sources=1274399332161 and m2eclipse says Missing artifact net.sourceforge.htmlunit:htmlunit:jar:2.8-SNAPSHOT:compile even though the artifact physically exists here: nexus:8082/nexus-webapp-1.6.0/content/repositories/htmlunit-snapshot/net/sourceforge/htmlunit/htmlunit/2.8-SNAPSHOT/htmlunit-2.8-SNAPSHOT.jar Maven just doesn't use this location at all. Trust me I tried everything, this m2eclipse behavior is terrible.

  I have a code that sets a new repeating alarm (on production I'll use a inexactRepeating), but the BroadCastReceiver I've registered for handling it is not being called. • GPS on emulator doesn't get the geo fix - Android

  Hi I'm developing an application for the android OS, I'm just starting, but I can't get the GPS on the emulator to work. I've read on the internet that you need to send a geo fix to the emulator in order to enable the gps locationProvider.   I'm struggling to get my head around how to accommodate a mocked repository's method that only accepts a Linq expression as its argument. • How to use Object.GetHashCode() on a type that overrides GetHashCode()

  Hi, I have a class A that implements IEquatable<, using its fields (say, A.b and A.c) for implementing/overriding Equals() and overriding GetHashCode(), and everything works fine, 99% of the time. Class A is part of a hierarchy (class B, C) that all inherit from interface D; they can all be stored together in a dictionary Dictionary, thus it's convenient when they all carry their own default Equals()/GetHashCode(). However, while constructing A I sometime need to do some work to get the values for A.b and A.c; while that's happening, I want to store a reference to the instance that's being built. In that case, I don't want to use the default Equals()/GetHashCode() overrides provided by A. Thus, I was thinking of implementing a ReferenceEqualityComparer, that's meant to force the use of Object's Equals()/GetHashCode(): private class ReferenceEqualityComparer<T> : IEqualityComparer<T> { #region IEqualityComparer<T> Members public bool Equals(T x, T y) { return System.Object.ReferenceEquals(x, y); } public int GetHashCode(T obj) { // what goes here? I want to do something like System.Object.GetHashCode(obj); } #endregion } The question is, since A overrides Object.GetHashCode(), how can I (outside of A) call Object.GetHashCode() for an instance of A?   Hi! I am trying to create an app that uses offline maps and custom tiles. For this I have decided to use OSMDroid and have included the jar within my project. I will create my custom tiles using MOBAC.   I've read that unmanaged resource are considered file handles, streams, anything low level. Does MSDN or any other source explain how to recognize an unmanaged resource? I can't seem to find any examples on the net that show unmanaged code, all the examples just have comments that say unmanaged code here. Can someone perhaps provide a realworld example where I would handle an unmanaged resources in an IDispose interface? I provided the IDisposable interface for your convience.   I need to write a junit test for a rather complex application which runs in a tomcat. However, that would result in the possibility to assign just about any value to the dependency property, and I do not want that. It seems to me that WF dependency properties don't work for COM interop objects.Does anyone have a solution to this?

  I'm trying to get a global hotkey working in Linux using Mono. I found the signatures of XGrabKey and XUngrabKey, but I can't seem to get them working. Whenever I try to invoke XGrabKey, the application crashes with a SIGSEGV. Since no provider URL was specified, the default provider URL of "corbaloc:iiop:[email protected]:2809/NameService" was used. Make sure that any bootstrap address information in the URL is correct and that the target name server is running.   I've been trying to track down a bug I thought was thread-related, but I think instead there is an issue with the way I am using OpenNETCF's Stopwatch. Everything else is always zero. Is this expected behavior? Do I need to call an additional method to have the stopwatch calculate the Elapsed struct? (Note: stopwatch.ElapsedMilliseconds is also zero)

  Work on this small test application to learn threading/locking. I have the following code, I would think that the line should only write to console once. However it doesn't seem to be working as expected. Any thoughts on why? What I'm trying to do is add this Lot object to a List, then if any other threads try and hit that list, it would block. However, the concurrency check doesn't work because in the Post, I'm re-retreiving the current entity right before I attempt to update it. However, with EF, I don't know how to use the fanciness of SaveChanges() but attach my thisIssue to the context. I tried to call edmx.Issues.Attach(thisIssue) but I get The object cannot be attached because it is already in the object context. An object can only be reattached when it is in an unchanged state. How do I handle concurrency in MVC with EF and/or how do I properly Attach my edited object to the context? Thanks in advance

  Background I'm troubleshooting an WinForms 2.0 program that's already been burned to CD for distribution to an internet-challenged target audience. Some users are experiencing a fatal error that I can reproduce locally. Reproducing the Error I get the fatal error when I log into my Vista box using a standard user that I just created, even if I run the program as administrator. I do not get the fatal error when I log in as local administrator. I'm not sure that being administrator is necessarily the trigger (since runas did not help). I have reproduced this half a dozen times under each account with consistent results. LOCK path HERE !!! } A user control loads on the first form, which triggers a call to SkinManager.ApplySkin, which checks if skin is null and, if so assigns it (without thread synchronization or recursion protection), which ultimately causes a file to be opened. When logged in as local admin, that sequence completes just fine. When logged in as my test standard user, ApplySkin is always called a second time while skin is still null, causing a second attempt to load, causing the file to be locked on the second attempt. The error handling is draconian at this point and the program terminates. The Question While this code can be easily fixed, I would like to understand why the error is happening only in some cases.
