  I have a SQL query in my ASP.net web app that looks like this: SELECT * FROM [Records] WHERE ([title] LIKE '%' + @title + '%') @title, of course, is the value of a text box on the page. My question is, why, when the text box is empty, does this return nothing? And how can I make it return everything, like logic tells me it ought to?

• Sibling UIViewController Navigation

  would anybody care to comment on this piece of code? It allows you to do "prev" or "next" once in the detail view of a uiviewcontroller. So, if you have 4 uiviewcontrollers, you can navigate from #3 to #2 with previous or #3 to #4 with next. It works, but, my question is, is this the best way to implement this? or, is there a better way. http://github.com/joop23/UIViewController

  Well, i´m developing a webpage that contains two tags (program and events), that shows two different contents. When I click the program button(it´s a tag), it´s ok, it´s shows the table on the div´s. But, when I click the events button, again it´s shows the program tag contents, and I want to show the events table content. Without deciding the value of this request, I'd like to get my Fedora laptop to answer the question easily. rpm -qa Gives me a list of packages, but no license data. My next step is to take that output and write a script to query each package's license. Anyone got an easier idea?

  I'm looking to find a way to in real-time find the shortest path between nodes in a huge graph. It has hundreds of thousands of vertices and millions of edges. I know this question has been asked before and I guess the answer is to use a breadth-first search, but I'm more interested in to know what software you can use to implement it. For example, it would be totally perfect if it already exist a library (with python bindings!) for performing bfs in undirected graphs.

  Hey guys, I noticed that I rarely use properties, due to the fact that I rarely need to access my object's variables outside my class ;) So I usually do : NSMutableArray *myArray; // not a property ! My question is : even if i don't declare myArray as a property, does iphone make a retain anyway if I do myArray = arrayPassedToMe; I think so but I just wanted to confirm ;) Any thoughts welcome !   I installed Python Mock module using PIP. When I try to import mock running under 'dev_appserver', GAE says that it can't find module 'mock'. import mock works perfectly in Python interpreter. I understand that dev_appserver behaves absolutely correctly because I can't install modules with PIP on GAE servers. My question is how technically dev_appserver filters list of modules that can be loaded?

  Hi all, I have set up AuthLogic almost exactly as per the AuthLogic example app at http://github.com/binarylogic/authlogic_example. After someone logs in as User, they can click on links that send them away into the system and away from the users controller. This is an incredibly noob question, but how can I access that User's ID and other attributes from anywhere else, such as an unrelated view or unrelated controller?
