  • ASP.NET access a folder as ASPNET even though impersonation is set

    I have my ASP.NET web.config set with impersonation <identity impersonate="true" userName="domainName\userName" password="userPassword" /> I'm running some a method like IO.Directory.GetFiles(somePath) And monitoring the file system access with Process Monitor I keep getting all the access requests from the aspnet_wp.exe process to the folder, as the ASPNET user. Why am I not seeing the access as the impersonated user?

  • Can I make Axis2 generate a WSDL with 'unwrapped' types?

    I'm trying to consume a hello world AXIS2 SOAP web service using a PHP client. The Java class is written in Netbeans and the AXIS2 aar file is generated using the Netbeans AXIS2 plugin.     In the OpenSocial Data specificaiton 1.0 for a Person object (social profile data) it includes the use of a generic called Plural-Field. The spec can be found at: http://opensocial-resources.googlecode.com/svn/spec/1.0/Social-Data.xml#Person In the 1.0 data specification there is no XSD and no examples showing the use of this generic Plural-Field. After puzzeling the spec for some time I think I might understand the user of this generic. I was hoping that someone could confirm or correct my understanding. For example the accounts field is a generic Plural-Field<Account> while the activities field is Plural-Field <string>.     As the title says: how can I use the Restful Authentication Plugin with Ruby on Rails. When I want to create a new user, it requires me to set the (wrong-named, confusing field) login (= username), email address and password. However, I want, like Facebook does, to require the user to enter only an email address and password, not a username. People will also login with this email address. Can anyone help me?

    I have this query SELECT articles.*, users.username AS `user` FROM `articles` LEFT JOIN `users` ON articles.user_id = users.id ORDER BY articles.timestamp Basically it returns the list of articles and the username that the article is associated to. Now if there is no entry in the users table for a particular user id, the users var is NULL. Is there anyway to make it that if its null it returns something like "User Not Found"? or would i have to do this using php?

I have the username in SQL set as a key, so it can't be duplicated on that end, but I am looking at finding a more user-friendly error message then "KEY already exists". Is there are simple way to check if the variable value already exists in a row? Thanks!

    I have a mysql table with three columns: username, location, timestamp. This is basically a log of user activity of what location they are in and the time that they were there. What I want to do is select a distinct username+location where only the most recent item (by timestamp) is provided. So say the table consists of: tom roomone 2011-3-25 10:45:00 tom roomtwo 2011-3-25 09:00:00 tom roomtwo 2011-3-25 08:30:00 pam roomone 3011-3-25 07:20:23 I would want only these to be selected: tom roomone 2011-3-25 10:45:00 tom roomtwo 2011-3-25 09:00:00
