  • Coldfusion 9 installation problem with IIS7

    Windows web server 2008 R2 64 bit, CF9 64 bit, IIS7, ISAPI extensions and filters and II6 metabase compatability installed. OS is on C default, and trying to install CF to D: Testing IIS and it shows index.html correctly from c:\inetpub\wwwroot at http://localhost/index.html Then I install CF to D:\ , single standard server licence, select run with all IIS sites, select C:\inetpub\wwwroot as the web root for administrator, and when it gets to the bit where it is supposed to open up administrator to complete the installation it opens up the browser with a 500 error. Now when I go back to http://localhost/index.html I also get a 500 error, if i uninstall CF I can again reach the html page. CFIDE has been installed in C:\inetpub\wwwroot presumably correctly. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please. Update The exact IIS error is HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred.   • iPhone: Grouped Table Confusion

    I'm trying to follow along with this UITableView tutorial and I'm afraid I'm getting confused. What I hope to accomplish is to create a grouped table, which resembles the look and feel of the following image (image source): For each "break" in the table, I assume that I need another section. I understand there is a global NSMutableArray, which acts as the data source to the UITableView. Inside this global array, there are dictionaries for sections and for data, but this is where I start getting confused. Should I create a unique table to store each section in addition to a new table for the rows that are part of that section? In other words, if I have five sections, will I end up with ten unique collections of data (one for each section and one to store the rows related to the section), which all eventually get stored in the global array?

    Hi, I have an xml file the content which i have to write to a Database table using ssis pacakge. I am using xml source nad oledb destination My issue now is this xml file generate multiple outputs .(event,produt,offer,form) etc. But i need to write all in one data row(more than one if 2 products are there for the event) in the database. But i do not know how to use this multiple outputs and make a single row for a event. I hav read numerous articles about this subject but not able to take a decision.what is the right way of doing this. 1) xml source ? (if i use this how do i merge the multiple outputs) 2) or a script task using xml objects read and write to the DB. or anything new ?   • NSIS Installer - Displaying different licences

    Heya, I'm trying to modify an existing NSIS install script to allow for different licence files to be presented to the user depending on whether they are a new or existing user. I have pre-existing code which detects an existing install in the .onInit section. However I'm running into bumps trying to use the NSIS provided licence screen e.g. !InsertMacro MUI_PAGE_LICENSE Content\Licence.rtf I would like to be able to choose between Licence and Licence2.rtf (though they'll be renamed something representative in the final version). I've tried using selectable sections calling functions which nest the !insertmacro but that doesn't work because it needs to be in the base level of the script. I can't change the parameter to be runtime definable because it needs to know what the file is at compile time to build it into the installer. I know I can roll my own custom page called from a function and do it that way but I was wondering if anyone had got the NSIS installer working with using the MUI_PAGE_LICENSE and different licences.     With the introduction of the HTML5 <canvas> element, could Swing theoretically be implemented in Google Web Toolkit (GWT) by using the <canvas> tag for drawing? I'm aware of efforts to port source code from using Swing calls to GWT calls, but what I'm after is a pure behind the scenes port where a Swing application would compile under GWT without any source code modifications. Is that theoretically possible? Why? Why not?

    So, I'm trying to replicate MSDN "pseudoframes" here. Their pages are laid out like they're using an old-school frameset, but inspecting their elements with firebug reveals they've done this with purely div's. Here's my attempt at it.     So, as described on this msdn page, when you define a Connection String for SQL Server Compact 3.5, you can use the "Data Directory" macro, like this: quote from this msdn page: Data Directory Support SQL Server Compact 3.5 now supports the Data Directory macro. This means that if you add the string |DataDirectory| (enclosed in pipe symbols) to a file path, it will resolve to the path of the database. For example, consider the connection string: "Data Source= c:\program files\MyApp\Mydb.sdf" When using Data Directory, you can instead use the following connection string: "Data Source = |DataDirectory|\Mydb.sdf" For more information, see How to: Deploy a SQL Server Compact 3.5 Database with an Application. However, the 'for more information' link on msdn doesn't actually give any more information. So my question is: How does the |Data Directory| macro translate at run time? For WinForm apps, it seems to just give the location of the executable. Or is it more complicated than that?

    Hi Guys, I'm relatively new with WPF. I'm trying to understand the difference between MouseDownEvent and PreviewMouseDownEvent. I understand the WPF event strategies and i understand that the MouseDown event is a bubbling event and the PreviewMouseDown is a tunneling event. I also understand the order of which these events are being fired - according to this MSDN overview http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms742806.aspx#routing (there is a diagram with example there). According to the MSDN overview (in the link above), if i have 3 elements then the events route should be as follows: PreviewMouseDown (tunnel) on root element. PreviewMouseDown (tunnel) on intermediate element #1. PreviewMouseDown (tunnel) on source element #2. MouseDown (bubble) on source element #2. MouseDown (bubble) on intermediate element #1. MouseDown (bubble) on root element. So I expected the the message boxes to be shown according to the above. From some reason - which I don't understand only the preview events are being thrown (according to what the MSDN says Preview_B1=Preview_B2=Preview_B3). My expectations were: Preview_B1=Preview_B2=Preview_B3=NonPreview_B3=NonPreview_B2=NonPreview_B1. But the non-preview events are not being thrown at all. So basically I don't understand the route of the events, from MSDN overview I understood that the route starts from the root element, goes down (tunnel) to the source element and then back up (bubble) to the root element, but this is not what happening in practice. It is really important for me to understand how this events are working, i probably miss-understand something basic here, your help will be appreciated. THANX!! -Gili

    I need to create control to draw border around its child. So, I have created class and derived it from Decorator: class RoundedBoxDecorator : Decorator { protected override Size ArrangeOverride(Size arrangeSize) { //some source } protected override void OnRender(DrawingContext dc) { //some source } } It works fine, but I have some doubts about using Decorator as ancestor. I have found in MSDN that there are no special methods or properties in it, only derived from its ancestors (UIElement or FrameworkElement). ArrangeOverride and OnRender are also derived. So, what for Decorator class was designed and does it makes sense to use it? Or I can derive from FrameworkElement?

  • How to build sqlite for Python 2.4?

    I would like to use pysqlite interface between Python and sdlite database. I have already Python and SQLite on my computer. But I have troubles with installation of pysqlite. During the installation I get the following error message: error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1 As far as I understood the problems appears because version of my Python is 2.4.3 and SQLite is integrated in Python since 2.5. However, I also found out that it IS possible to build sqlite for Python 2.4 (using some tricks, probably). Does anybody know how to build sqlite for Python 2.4? As another option I could try to install higher version of Python. However I do not have root privileges. Does anybody know what will be the easiest way to solve the problem (build SQLite fro Python 2.4, or install newer version of Python)? I have to mention that I would not like to overwrite the old version version of Python. Thank you in advance.

    Hello, I know that I could separate all statements by pre-cutting before their execution, but I have a case in which I would like to insert a series of statements in one execution, currently I receive the following error: Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Syntax Error: Encountered ";" at line 2, column 33. at org.apache.derby.impl.jdbc.SQLExceptionFactory.getSQLException(Unknown Source) at org.apache.derby.impl.jdbc.SQLExceptionFactory40.wrapArgsForTransportAcrossDRDA(Unknown Source) ... 17 more Caused by: ERROR 42X01: Syntax Error: Encountered ";" at line 2, column 33. Also do you know also if Derby supports conditional statements like that in pgsql case when else? Thanks

    I'm trying to use file_get_contentsO() to get the response from a server and this error was encountered. Could someone tell me what is the reason and how to fix it? The portion of the code is: $api = "http://smpp5.routesms.com:8080/bulksms/sendsms?username=$username&password=$password&source=$source&destination=$destin&dlr=$dlr&type=$type&message=$message"; $resp = file_get_contents($api); The server responded correctly while I pasted the url in the browser. I learned that this is caused by the server rejecting the client's HTTP version, but I have no idea why that is happening in my case. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

  • Managing web.config for teams in VS2010 & TFS

    With VS2010's mandate that web.config be included in the project, how do we allow everyone to keep their own custom config file without getting into source control problems? Previously, we would simply leave web.config out of our project, allowing everyone to keep their own local version of web.config on their machine. We moved to VS2010, and it is now forcing me to add web.config to my project in order to run debug mode. Because our project is linked to TFS, it automatically adds web.config to source control and tries to maintain it that way. Is there a way to run in debug mode without including web.config in your project? Or is there a better way to manage config files?

    I am building an app on android and running into an error and while searching on net, came across your posting on this and changed the eclipse.ini to increase Xms and Xmx params but still this error does not go away.     hi guys, i have this scripts which extracts all my folder's and files from my c:\projects locations and put its in winrar and transfers them to c:\backup\project for /f "delims==" %%D in ('DIR C:\projects /A /B /S') do ( "C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.EXE" m -r "c:\backup\projects.rar" "%%D" ) i have also tried the below script which uses the same source c:\projects but put them in their own separate winrar folder like in the source then transfers the folders into my c:\backup. FOR /F "DELIMS==" %%D in ('DIR C:\projects /AD /B') DO ( "C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.EXE" m -r "C:\Backup\%%D.rar" "%%D" ) my question is, my second scripts only takes two hours to run when my first script takes over 24 hours to run, is there any way to make my first script faster? if anything shouldn't my first script be faster?

  • Web setup project removes files after upgrade from VS2008 to VS2010

    I have a web setup project built using VS2008. I've converted my solution to VS2010 and now when I build my new installer and run the install from the MSI it installs fine, then at the last step, removes all the files it's just installed. I have RemovePreviousVersions set to true. If I turn this off the files remain in place (but I get multiple instances in the Programs and Features in the control panel). If I run the install again, the files reappear. From then on, the files always remain, even when installing another version. So, the problem seems to be with running an installer built using VS2008 and then running the same installer built by VS2010. The upgrade GUIDs on each installer are the same. What is the cause and how can I fix this?

  • How to structure Python package that contains Cython code

    I'd like to make a Python package containing some Cython code. I've got the the Cython code working nicely. However, now I want to know how best to package it. For most people who just want to install the package, I'd like to include the .c file that Cython creates, and arrange for setup.py to compile that to produce the module. Then the user doesn't need Cython installed in order to install the package. But for people who may want to modify the package, I'd also like to provide the Cython .pyx files, and somehow also allow for setup.py to build them using Cython (so those users would need Cython installed). How should I structure the files in the package to cater for both these scenarios? The Cython documentation gives a little guidance. But it doesn't say how to make a single setup.py that handles both the with/without Cython cases.

  • NFOP performance problem

    We're using NFOP in a project (C#, ASP.NET 2.0) to ultimately return PDF files to the user. The process currently goes like this: Stored Procedure - XML XML - XSLT - XSL-FO XSL-FO - NFOP - PDF This works fine, the PDF is generated BEAUTIFULLY. The problem is that it takes 300+ seconds to do it. The ANTS profiler indicates that the problem is sitting in the driver.run() method inside of NFOP. It's not like this is a gargantuan amount of data, the size of the xsl-fo source going into the nfop driver object is ~980k. What's the most likely source and resolution of this problem? ANY hints or tips or answers are most appreciated, we were supposed to head to VA scan at 11 am. :|
