    Hello everyone and thanks in advance. I have a problem and I have 2 form into one another, the domestic form is to perform a file upload. As I can do to make when sending in internal form not run the main form. <form name="x" method="post" action="xxx.php"> .... <form action="" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data" target="xxx"> <input type="file" /> <input type="submit" /> </form> <iframe id="xxx" src="process.php"> </iframe> .... <input type="submit" name="pro" value="Register user"/ > </form> Doing this does not work, as this within another form.     Is there a way (without binding to the window.resize event) to force a floating DIV to re-center itself when the browser window is resized?     Hy, i need the content of a web page, in greasemonkey. i wrote a function like this. unsafeWindow.testpage = function() { GM_xmlhttpRequest( { method: "GET", url: "http://www.test.com/xml/xml.php", headers: { "User-Agent": "Mozilla/5.0", "Accept": "text/xml" }, onload: function(response) { alert(response.responseText); } }); } If i execute the above it just logs that GM_xmlhttpRequest cannot be executed inside a unsafewindow. How can i get the content of http://www.test.com/xml/xml.php in a unsafe window? What i expect is that the content of http://www.test.com/xml/xml.php is returned in alert box How can i do that?

  • Map works, but throws a popup error at load complainig about wrong api key

    Ok, I see a lot of people have this problem, but none answer I found either here or at stackoverflow. Problem: Map works super fine! But throws an error at load "This map needs a different api key... sign up at......" Already signed up, already got a key. On some forum post a guy told that in this case map loads twice, once with the wrong key, another with the right one. But Im sure my app loads it once and with the correct key.   • Binding Events rather than using onclick

    Hello all, I have been told its better to bind events to elements rather than having onclicks with functions everywhere. I agree with this as it devolves more from the HTML which means cleaner and easier to debug code. But I am having trouble doing this! I loop through some data with PHP (see below) and I currently use onclick to call a function.   • Creating a textarea with auto-resize

    There was another thread about this, which I've tried. But there is one problem: the textarea doesn't shrink if you delete the content. I can't find any way to shrink it to the correct size - the clientHeight value comes back as the full size of the textarea, not its contents. The code from that page is below.   • JS Split ( ) to check if substring exists in Array

    I have an array of products that are stored as Strings in this format productname:quantity. The issue I am running into is that if a user adds one product with a quantity of x it is inserted into the array as it should. However, if they then decide to add more of a particular product a new entry is made into the array instead of checking if the product already exists and adjusting the quantity to the new value. oldQty + newQty. For example this is my array: ["CBL202659/A:1","OUTER9:1","PALLET CARDS:1"] If I add another PALLET CARDS product it creates a new entry rather than updating the quantity of the existing item to 2.     Hi, how come that when I attach onchange by attribute and call it onchange="validateDate(FPR_CURR_FROM);" it works, but when I use a ASP .NET validator, and my attached function is called like : function anonymous() { ValidatorOnChange(event); validateDate(FPR_CURR_FROM); } I get error: FPR_CURR_FROM is undefined. First off: I know that using FPR_CURR_FROM to access element is BAD, and I should use getElementByID etc... And I will change it eventually. But as I bumped into that code, I'm curious what caused it - propably visibility of variables I guess.

    i have a script, to open a model window, but it wont work. google chrome give me "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token }", but on a line that doesnt even have a closing curly brace. here is my script: function showm(id1){ window.onscroll=function(){document.getElementById(id1).style.top=document.body.scrollTop;}; document.getElementById(id1).style.display="block"; document.getElementById(id1).style.top=document.body.scrollTop; } does anybody have any ideas on this? any help is appreciated.

    I load this file with some query param like this: src='somefile.js?userId=123' I wrote the below function in 'somefile.js' file that reads the 'userId' query param but I feel this is not the best approach. Frankly, its quite ugly.   • JQuery tools overlay opens at the top of page instead of overlaying in IE, works fine in FF/Chrome

    Here is the sandbox version of my site: http://3.latest.truxmapper.appspot.com/ To reproduce the error, hover over to the toolbar and go to Support -- FAQ. In Chrome/FF, this will work as expected. In IE, the background image will quickly move to the center of the page, but when its time to insert the div over the background image, its inserted on top of the page rather than the center of the page. The plugin example ( http://flowplayer.org/tools/overlay/apple.html ) works fine in IE, so i know it ought to be possible. I've tried messing around with the div placement on the html and with the css to no avail. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks!

  • Google Maps API - load the US

    I am new to google maps api. I'd like suggestions on achieving the following functionality: whenever the page loads, the map will load centered around the US. Imagine a box around the US with given lat/longs specifying the minimum and maximum boundaries. I need the map to load at the appropriate zoom (and zoom needs to be disabled) such that this box composes the entire map. Basically, I'm wondering if there is a function that loads the map based on lat/long boundaries (or some way to acheive this), rather then loading the map given a zoom level.
