• Is there a repo where you can download android virtual devices?

  Does anyone know, if vendors provide or if there is a site where one could download AVD profiles for existing android devices on the market so you can run your apps in the emulator and basically see how they will run on said devices? I know it's pretty easy to create a new device but it'd be great if one could just download the config file for each device and run it.

  I was wondering, if I was making a file or image hosting/transfer site, whether or not there was a good approach to check for viruses for files that users are uploading? I was thinking of this: Use traditional PHP file upload form to upload the file to the server. Put files in a queue folder Move the queue folder to a "process" folder, and replace queue folder after a predetermined limit (time, cronjob, file count, collective file size) Run a command line virus scan on files in process folder Place safe files in holding area for use Is this a good approach?

  Hi All, I downloaded latest SDK xcode_3.2.2.2_and_iPhone_SDK_3.2_final.dmg from apple site. I uninstall the old SDk and double click the .dmg file then i got a popup stating that "The following Disk Images couldnt found" and "xcode_3.2.2.2_and_iPhone_SDK_3.2_final.dmg is not recognized".   We are using Tasks to track individual development items and the "out of the box" configuration gives us only 2 states - Active and Closed. We would like to change it to: Assigned In Development In Test Ready for Production Closed (In Production) Any ideas on how to accomplish this? We've been through everything in the Admin site.   I need to replace url invalid characters with something url valid then convert it back again. This is for a search page with a url like http://my.site/search/this-is-a-search, the search form POSTS then the user redirected to the new url. Php has functions urlencode and urldecode however these do not work at all, and leave invalid characters in my url. Surely I don't need to reinvent the wheel here.
