    Hello, Has anyone used the Edskes Software Silent Setup for Mozilla Firefox which is multilingual utility which automatically downloads and installs the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. Basically, it says, we can redirect clients using IE to this URL to let them know that that should better stop using IE any more. So my question is whether this program is worth of using?   • sqlite over network share for failover

    As a follow-up of this question: sqlite-over-a-network-share If I put the SQlite DB on a network share, but will not access it concurrently from different machines. I only have the SQLite db stored on a share so a cluster of failover computers can take over where one machine left off. Are there any inherent problems with that approach?

  • Must Dependency Injection come at the expense of Encapsulation?

    If I understand correctly, the typical mechanism for Dependency Injection is to inject either through a class' constructor or through a public property (member) of the class. This exposes the dependency being injected and violates the OOP principle of encapsulation. Am I correct in identifying this tradeoff? How do you deal with this issue?     Does anyone know if Python's shelve module uses memory-mapped IO? Maybe that question is a bit misleading. I realize that shelve uses an underlying dbm-style module to do its dirty work. What are the chances that the underlying module uses mmap? I'm prototyping a datastore, and while I realize premature optimization is generally frowned upon, this could really help me understand the trade-offs involved in my design.

    I have a Sequence Activity which holds two activities (Activity A and B), the input dependency property for Activity B is bound an output dependency property of Activity A. However, when I run the sequence activity, the Input for activity B is never updated and just uses the default value of activity A's output. My question is: is there a way to enforce an update on activity B's input so that it gets the latest value of activity A's output?
