  Hi friends, I have a folder structure at server side. Inside the folders there are files of all format like .txt, .pdf. I get the structure in XML format. Now I want to create the same folder structure that is present in server side at my iphone documents folder with only the names of files inside it and not the content of the files. eg: folder1 1.text(it is inside folder1) folder2 2.pdf(it is inside folder2) folder3 subFolder3 (it is inside folder3) 3.txt (it is inside subFolder3) folder4 4.txt How I need to handle the overall approach.   Hi friends, I am trying to write a small application using bouncycastle algorithm, from the http://tinyurl.com/ylclavn (BouncyCastleProvider.java) it says we have to import and add the provider during runtime by the following code import org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider; Security.addProvider(new BouncyCastleProvider()); error - The import org.bouncycastle cannot be resolved; during import error - BouncyCastleProvider cannot be resolved to a type; when calling addProvider I though bouncycastle is not provided with the Android 1.6 SDK, so thought of installing separately. how should i do this? If Bouncycastle is shipped along with SDK, what should i do to avoid these errors? I am using Android 1.6, eclipse-V3.4.0 on winXP . Thanks in advance

I currently have my custom cms, but i wanna go for opensource cms solution from now on. and as i researched Drupal is COOL for any kind of project from small scope to most complex ones. I have never used Drupal before, I know nothing about it yet. Would it worth to work on Drupal 6 for now, or better to wait for Drupal 7? is there any big difference about the way it works. i would feel silly to spend days-weeks to learn Drupal 6 now and after few months when Drupal 7 beta is out, a new learning curve and having troubles to upgrade to Drupal 7 my current Drupal 6 projects? • How to debug a Flex 4 HTTPService request that works on my computer, but not on another?

  I'm building a Ruby on Rails backed Flex 4 app, using Heroku to host the Ruby on Rails part during development. It all works fine when I run the release build on my computer, but when I run the release build on a friends computer, the data from the database doesn't get loaded. Problem is, I can't work out how to debug this because it's the release build, and I've only got Flash Builder 4 on my computer, where it all works fine. This is not SQL based database. Now i planned to implement replication. There should be master- master replication, master slave replication, partial replication(entries matching a criteria) and fractional replication(part of an entry). • Drupal 6: Drupal Themer gives same candidate name for different type of content types

  Hi friends, I'm a drupal newbie... I have different type of contents like News, Events, etc. and their content is different. News detail page has title-content text-date. but Events detail page has title-date-content text-location-speaker-etc. So I need different layout page for these different types. So, I enabled Drupal Themer to get a candidate name. for events page, it gave me page-node.tpl.php and it gives same for News page as well :( how can I separate these pages? I expected sth like page-event-node.tpl , but no... :/ Drupal Themer also give unique candidate name for event page like page-node-18.tpl.php but it doesnt mean anything since I can not create a general layout for all events by this node name. :( Appreciate helps so much!!   Hi friends, I have got little tricky issue i.e I am using API of a product which has few methods for uploading image. The UI part of the product has one file upload control which takes files and convert that into binary and save it to database. In the coding part they are using one method where they send this fileupload.postedfile as one of the input parameter to the method. Now my requirement is, I have a directory where there are hundred of files which i have to send each file one by after another to this method as a input. Now i wish to know how to pass a file name as "HttpPostedFile" to that method as a parameter. I have no other option other than using that API (our clients requirement). Thanks

• Social Game Mechanics in Django

  I want users to receive 'points' for completing various tasks in my application - ranging from tasks such as tagging objects to making friends. I havn't yet found a Django application that simplifies this. At the moment I'm thinking that the best way to accumulate points is that each user action creates the equivalent of a "stream item", and the points are calculated through counting the value of each action published to their stream. Obviously social game mechanics is a huge area with a lot of research going on at the moment. But from a development perspective what's the easiest way to get started? Am I on the wrong track or are there better / simpler ways?

• SQL Server 2005 sp_send_dbmail

  Hi Friends, When we use sp_send_dbmail to send email with attachment, the attachment gets copied into a folder inside C:\Windows\Temp. As we have many emails to be sent every day, the temp folder grows rapidly. This is the case with SQL Server 2005. We noticed that, with SQL Server 2008, we dont see these file under temp folder. Is there any setting to turn the above behavior off? Does SQL Server 2008 store the files in any other folder and not in temp? Appreciate your help and time. Thanks.

  hi friends, I want to set Image Brightness and contras of images that are in my photo library, I got the code from http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/samplecode/GLImageProcessing/Introduction/Intro.html, but that will work on the EAGL layer i.e. all the effects are provided on image that is put initially not on the image that are selected from the photo library ,as this function will work on the view(EAGLview) and not on the image view. so how to change the brightness and contras of any images that are selected from the photo library?? if any one know this please let me know.. regards viral.

I don't want to re-invent the wheel so i am looking for some type of SDK or collection of tools that can provide me with a way of creating/managing a social network. I understand that no framework will probably fit my exact needs so I am also looking for a flexible/extendable framework. An example extension point would be allowing the user to provide sub networks, maybe a global network that could be sub classified as work and friends. Beyond that it would also be nice to somehow be able to import contacts from other networking sites (Facebook, Linked In, etc). My current technology suite will consist of the following: IIS 7.0 WCF Data Services SQL Server 2006 ASP.NET front end. If there is any more information you may need please let me know.

  Just a quick question: There's the entity (for example User) who is connected with the ManyToMany relationship to the same entity (for example this relation describes "friendship" and it is symmetric). What is the fastest way in terms of execution time to check if User A is a "friend" of user B? The "dumb" way would be to fetch whole List and then check if user exists there but that's obviously the overhead.   Hi, Some friends and I wanted to develop a game. Any language will do. I've been programming in C for years, but never wrote a game before. One of us knows SDL a little bit. It would also be a nice excuse to learn Python+pygame. We wish our game to be 'standalone'. By standalone, I mean most users (at least Linux, Mac and Windows) will not have to manually download and install anything else apart from a package. It is ok if the installation automatically handles missing dependencies. If the packages contain binaries, we wish to be able to generate them using cross-compilation from Linux. How should we package and structure the project, and what language is best suited?

  I have an iphone database app that loads a UIPickerView with data from a table. I want to set the selected row to a particular row from the data in another table. for example: Lets say I have a UIPickerView that is loaded with X number of names of the iPhone users friends (the number of names is variable, could be 1 or 1000 and all are entered into the DB by the user). The iPhone user has a preference set that their current best friend is TED. I want the UIPickerView to be position to TED when displayed. Where do I call selectRow? I tried in viewDidAppear but it was never called, in titleForRow which caused all kinds of strange behavior. viewDidLoad and viewWillAppear are out of the question because I don't know what's in the datasource to the picker yet. • how to change stack size for a C# program?

  Dear friends, I have a program that does recursive calls for 2 billion times and the stack overflow. I make changes, and then it still need 40K resursive calls. So I need probably serveral MB stack memory. I heard the stack size is default to 1MB. I tried search online. Some one said to go properties -linker .........in visual studio, but I cannot find it. Does anybody knows how to increase it? Also I am wondering if I can set it some where in my C# program? P.S. I am using 32-bit winXP and 64bit win7. Thanks a lot

  Hey guys, I've been using the Graph API for a while. One feature of my application is that it allows a user to post a message on their friends walls (dont worry it is not spam). Anyway...there is a limit on the API and it will only allow a certain number of posts before failing. I've read on the facebook bucket allocation limits but my app's limit has not moved. It was 26 when i created the app. It is still 26 even though there are about 20 users. What can I do to increase my pulish limit? And I promise this app is not used for anything spam related.

I want to give some demos using iPhone and iPad to look cool :p Now my problem is how to handle: Mouse Down Mouse Up Mouse Leave The multitouch interface of the iPhone (which I expect is similar to the iPad) handles mouse move on a browser has a scrolling event. One could try to capture the scrolling event and use it to simulate the dragging but I don't even know if it will be doable or if it will only be a hack. Any one knows of a more robust manner to manage dragging events on the iphone/ipad?

• iPhone apps causing battery to drain out

  Hi, Recently my iPhone battery started to discharge in just one day. I do not use my iPhone much (less than 1 hour a day). and then while discussing it with couple of colleagues, I heard that there are some apps which even if installed on your iPhone can cause your battery to drain out faster. It does not matter if you are not using those apps, only having them installed was enough to cause battery drain. I have heard this from couple of my techie friends as well and thus had to put some credibility to it. Being an iPhone developer, I don't think that is possible. Do you think if this is possible for an app to cause battery drain just by being installed there on iPhone?
