  I have quite a few of these in Apache logs piling up every day: [Mon Jun 09 20:42:58 2014] [error] [client 180.153.214.181] File does not exist: /home/user/public_html/ajax.googleapis.com, referer: http://www.mysite.com//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.1/jquery.min.js I have over 200k visitors per day but a few of them like a dozen or so are generating the above error. I can't figure out what may be causing it. Checked the html code and it's all good so I ran out of ideas.

• On demand upload server

  I'm looking for a simple application which will do something like Allow user to sign up for an ftp account -> ask admin for approval -> create ftp account for that user now it doesn't have to be FTP, in fact I would be happy with a web based tool which supported upload via some sort of java applet or something similar. I don't care about what platform it runs on, although if we could avoid PHP that would be cool. Any ideas?

• Apache LimitExcept not behaving as expected

  I have the following directive in my Apache httpd.conf: <LimitExcept OPTIONS PROPFIND REPORT> deny from all </LimitExcept> OPTIONS and PROPFIND work as expected, but REPORT returns 400: Bad Request. Removing the LimitExcept alltogether and everything works as expected. Any ideas on why this might be? (This is the implementation of my question here).

  I've got the firewall enabled on my Snow Leopard installation, and it works just fine, except for with EyeTV. Every time I run this app, a popup appears asking if I want to allow it access to the network, even though I've got it added in the application list for allowed apps. Any ideas how I can stop this from asking and just let it be given access?

• How to delete a file with a space at end of the name and hidden attributes?

  We have a hidden file with a space at the end of the file name. Usually, I take ownership of the file, then use a command line rename with the 8.3 (dir/x) file name. However, rename doesn't acknowledge hidden or system files. Any ideas on how to remove it? The original creator cannot access the file. The system is a Windows 2003 server with NTFS and SMB file sharing (normal windows file sharing).

  Sql Server on Windows Server 2008: Overnight, fullbackups taking 7-10 hours instead of 1-3 transaction logs taking 4-5 minutes instead of 1 minute Query optimization taking 3x longer I'm feeling like a disk in my Raid Array (raid5) is faulty or the raid controller or network card, Rackspace is telling me everything is fine. Any ideas on what/how I need to check?

  We have our helpdesk staff making small articles with Interspire Web Pushlisher, and would like to move that system over to Wordpress. Wordpress seems to be able to import data directly from most blogging platforms directly, but IWP is not one of them. Since they are both PHP-based i figure there has to be an easier way than c-c c-v over and over. Any ideas?

• Jenkins CI fails to initialise

  I've just installed Jenkins-CI on Ubuntu 11.10 as according to the instructions found here, However the service fails to start. • Network IO issues between virtual build environment and network servers

• Sysinternal's Process Explorer v14 doesn't show network activity

  The new version of Process Explorer shows network activity history, but it doesn't in one of my computers. This particular PC runs Windows XP SP3 and it has just been reformatted so everything is "fresh". I have even installed WinPCap and Microsoft Network monitor, in case some of these drivers were necessary, but the graph stays in 0. Any ideas why this could happen? I would ask in Sysinternal's forum, but I really don't want to register in yet another forum.

  hey all, I'm trying to create a local user on a new ubuntu box my admin set up. I'm unable to change the password, I keep getting the error below. The user gets added to the shadow file but I can't get it to set a password. Any ideas?   I was wondering how we can change the Win-E key combination to another target besides the default C:\. I've tried changing the shortcut in Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Windows Explorer to %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe "C:\My Folder\", in case Win-E references this shortcut, but that did not help. • I've got crossfired 4770s. I get a blue screen of death sometimes while watching some videos.

  I'm not sure what the problem is. Youtube works fine. But when i use the jwplayer on white-ra.com i get a temp-freeze or a blue bsod. I tried installing k-lite full and k-lite 64 and it still does it. Any ideas? Windows 7 64 bit with crossfired 4770s if that matters.

• Moved files only opening as 'read-only' in Excel

  I moved a large directory of Excel files to another machine. When I sign in as myself (administrator signing into domain) then the files open just fine, but when I sign in as a Power User directly onto the machine, the files open as 'Read-Only'. I've reset all the attributes through both Windows and DOS, but to no avail. Also I checked on the Search Indexing bug, but indexing is already turned off. Any ideas?
