• Building XCode From Command Line Issues (Updating Entitlements file location)

  The first error is a warning for complier 'com.apple.compilers.gcc.4_0' I don't know if this is okay and I can just not worry about it. The second tells me that my entitlements file is no longer at that location. I know this and I thought I had correctly updated it in Xcode's info window. This project builds fine in Xcode. • Permission error while trying to access Sql from a web method

  I created a web service which has a few web methods which inturn performs inserts/updates/select from a Sql Server and return non-primitive types. To test the web methods I tried using the Open source tool .net web service studio When I test for the web methods, I get the following error - Request for the permission of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlClientPermission, System.Data, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed. I searched for solutions and I tried a lot of approaches like setting up the permission levels, the trust level in config file etc. But the error still persists. Can anyone tell me what could be the reason for this error? I have tried toggling the permissions at all levels - Sql Server, web service etc. How can I fix this error?

• Setup and Deployment does not work

  Hi, I am working on VS 2008 and 3.5 framework. I had three windows services. I placed all three in a single solution, created installer individually for each of them. Then created a setup project. When I build it says build failed . But I checked on the errorlist, (i enabled the diagnostics in options menu), but there was no error at all. I went ahead and installed. There were no issues, But there was no service showed up in the services.msc. I installed each service individually , using installutil command, it showed up. But my requirement is to bundle these services and deploy to the client. The client should install it. Where am I going wrong. Any inputs will be highly appreciated. Regards cmrhema

How to get the number from the score variable? Is there any easy way to let BeautifulSoup to return the value(in this case 524) itself?

  I have an existing Android project with the following structure: - ProjectName -- AndroidManifest.xml -- local.properties -- project.properties -- assets -- libs (containing all jars) -- modules (containing all library projects my project depends on) -- res -- src ---- com/namespace/projectname (all my classes including main activity are here) I haven't been using any specific build system to build my project other than the one provided by default with the Android Studio IDE (though the project was originally created with IntelliJ CE. I would like to use Gradle with the android plugin and do some work on my build process. I have tried several configurations in order to achieve this and have failed to complete a successful build every time. What's the recommended approach in this scenario? should I change my project structure? or is it possible to configure gradle using the existing structure? Any help would be greatly appreciated. • MATLAB - Delete elements of binary files without loading entire file

  This may be a stupid question, but Google and MATLAB documentation have failed me. I have a rather large binary file (10 GB) that I need to open and delete the last forty million bytes or so. Is there a way to do this without reading the entire file to memory in chunks and printing it out to a new file? It took 6 hours to generate the file, so I'm cringing at the thought of re-reading the whole thing. EDIT: The file is 14,440,000,000 bytes in size. I need to chop it to 14,400,000,000.

• [SCORM 2004] the cmi.total_time parameter does not return anything.

  I am programming a SCORM 2004 product. I can update the session_time, it works. I can set the status (passed, failed, etc...) I also can get the cmi.location time. No problems! But I don't succeed atingt get the total time (cmi.total_time). I have tested on 2 LMS: On Ganesha the API.GetValue('cmi.total_time') is an empty string. On Moodle the API.GetValue('cmi.total_time') is just a "P". I do have the correct logs with correct session times. EDIT. I also try on cloud.scorm.com and cmi.total_time returns each time PT0H0M0S.

  I tried to write reasonably short title but i failed i guess.. Hi everybody here's what i'm trying to do: I want to implement a web text editor able to recognize when the user drag a image file over it's editing surface and it automa(gically) starts the upload and insert the image near the cursor position. In other words i don't want the user to do the usual "insert-image-browse-ok". Atm i am not very good at javascript ... i know JQuery but i have not a clear idea about how to implement this... i don't know if there's an event handler able to help me in this situation... if not then there should be i think or web apps would miss some kind of interactivity. I've heard miracles about HTML5 could it help me? I've seen such things in Google Wave but that surface doesn't seem to be a form field... google lab's black magic i guess.... Thank you in advance.

  I've been trying to compare the output of a program to known correct output by using a bash script without piping the output of the program to a file and then using diff on the output file and a correct output file. I've tried setting the variables to the output and correct output and I believe it's been successful but I can't get the string comparison to work correctly. I may be wrong about the variable setting so it could be that. Right now I'm using two sessions (sessions with different names), one for the admin and one for the frontend. Is it possible to write in the first session, close it and then open a new session? • ghc can't find my cabal installed packages

  I've installed ghc 6.12.3, and then the Haskell Platform. I'm trying to compile a test program: $ ghc test.hs test.hs:3:0: Failed to load interface for `Bindings': Use -v to see a list of the files searched for. so, naturally, I do cabal install Bindings Which works fine, and places the package in ~/.cabal/lib/bindings-0.1.2 The problem is, that when I go to compile again with ghc, it still doesn't find the package I've installed with cabal. compiling in verbose mode gives: ghc -v test.hs Using binary package database: /home/ludflu/ghc/lib/ghc-6.12.3/package.conf.d/package.cache Using binary package database: /home/ludflu/.ghc/x86_64-linux 6.12.3/package.conf.d/package.cache As suggested by another stackoverflow user, I tried: ghc-pkg describe rts > rts.pkg vi rts.pkg # add the /home/ludflu/.cabal/lib to `library-dirs` field ghc-pkg update rts.pkg But to no avail. • Adding business logic to a domain class using a getter style method name

  I'm attempting to add a method to a grails domain class, e.g. class Item { String name String getReversedName() { name.reverse() } } When I attempt to load the application using grails console I get the following error: Caused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'sessionFactory':Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is org.hibernate.PropertyNotFoundException: Could not find a setter for property reversedName in class Item ... 18 more It looks like Hibernate is interpreting getReversedName() as a getter for a property, however in this case it is a derived field and hence should not be persisted. Obviously in my actual code the business logic I'm exposing is more complex but it isn't relevant to this question. I want to be able to call item.reversedName in my code/gsps. How can I provide property (getter) access to a method in a Grails domain class without Grails attempting to map it with Hibernate?

• LDAP in medium trust

  I've have a solution with one website and several projects. The projects all have the AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers attribute and are strongly-named. The site works in full trust. However, after set the trust to medium, I get the System.Security.SecurityException: Request failed. error as soon as I browse to the site. In my projects, I have calls to LogOnUser, as well as many calls to variousSystem.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement methods. Can this site run with medium trust or do I have to have full trust for all the LDAP calls? As I mentioned, I've set the AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers attribute on all projects. Not sure what else to do. Also, I have no idea what/where the error is being generated. The event logs on the server have nothing in regards to this SecurityException. Is there any way to find out what the error location is so maybe I can attempt to rewrite some code? [running .NET 4.0 on Win2k8R2]

• Twitter oauth/request_token failing sometimes

  Hello there. I'm implementing Twitters OAuth for Adobe AIR in Javascript. My problem is, that out of 100 requests to api.twitter.com/oauth/request_token about 30 fail with the usual error message: Failed to validate oauth signature and token The other 70% of requests produce a correct response, so I believe that my algorithm for signing is correct. I've read about invalid timestamps in a lot of forums and mailing lists but that is not the problem. My timestamps are correct. I also checked, if the nonces are unique, so that's not the cause either. Any ideas why this is happening?

• How do I compile for windows XP under windows 7 / visual studio 2008

  I'm running Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2008 Pro and trying to get my application to work on Windows XP SP3. I've tried the added the following to my /D compiler options: ;WINVER=0x0501;_WIN32_WINNT 0x0501;NTDDI_VERSION=NTDDI_WINXP But that made no difference. When I run it on my Windows XP machine (actually running in a virtualbox) I get the following error: This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. So what have I missed? Is there something else required to run MSVC compiled programs or a different compiler option or something else?
