Hide Image Title in Slimbox

My issue is a lot like this solved thread, except I'm using Slimbox 2: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/940994/hide-image-title-tool-tip-popup-on-mouse-rollover-or-hover When you hover over an image, the "Title" attribute pops up. I need HTML in my image title in Slimbox. So, of course, when you're hovering, the "Title" attribute shows all the HTML code. The code works perfectly when you're viewing the image in Slimbox so no problems there. I just need the Title attribute to be hidden/modified not to show this HTML code. I tried to change Q.title in slimbox.js to something else (like captionname). Then changed the HTML to call for: <a href="images/team/large.jpg" title="Joe Smith" captionname="URL" rel="lightbox-team"><img src="images/team/small.jpg" class ="headline" border="1" hspace="2" /></a> "Joe Smith" displays as the Title but when you view the image in Slimbox, captionname does not come up at all and neither does the Title. It's just blank where it should be. What do I need to modify in slimbox2.js to make this work?

How to make an AJAX call immediately on document loading

I want to execute an ajax call as soon as a document is loaded. What I am doing is loading a string that contains data that I will use for an autocomplete feature. This is what I have done, but it is not calling the servlet. I have removed the calls to the various JS scripts to make it clearer. jeditable table cell

Hi all, I am having an issue when using jeditable to edit a cell in a table. The project is the MVC 2 web application and the table has been put on the standard about page. How do i tell the script to call a specific method in the controller ? because it is currently just loading the entire page into the cell. SL3 Grid RowDefinition Height Problem

I have a parent grid that contains multiple row definitions, all of which have their height set to 'auto'. Within the parent grid are individual grids - each individual grid contains a custom content control. When the custom content control loads, the height may increase. What I am noticing is that when the height does increase, the content overlaps with the content in other rows. I have specified the horizontal and vertical alignments - am I missing something? Hi, I'm trying to parse an XHTML document using TBXML on the iPhone (although I would be happy to use either libxml2 or NSXMLParser if it would be easier). Javascript onclick() event bubbling - working or not?

I have a table in which the table row tag is decorated with an onclick() handler. If the row is clicked anywhere, it will load another page. In one of the elements on the row, is an anchor tag which also leads to another page. The desired behavior is that if they click on the link, "delete.html" is loaded. If they click anywhere else in the row, "edit.html" is loaded. The problem is that sometimes (according to users) both the link and the onclick() are fired at once, leading to a problem in the back end code. They swear they are not double-clicking. I don't know enough about Javascript event bubbling, handling and whatever to even know where to start with this bizarre problem, so I'm asking for help. Here's a fragment of the rendered page, showing the row with the embedded link and associated script tag. How do you use FastInfoset with JAXWS?

I've got code that looks like it should be correct based on what I can find, but the spewed output doesn't indicate that it's using FastInfoset. My understanding is the Accept should indicate it can accept Fastinfoset and the response would actually use it, meaning it's not text/xml as the response type. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I've scoured with Google and I'm having a hard time finding much detail on how to use FastInfoset at all. [solved] IE6 PNG-transparency CSS hack not working

I looked around and decided to use a CSS approach rather than rely on JS... I figure the kind of corporate users stuck with IE6 might also have JS disabled by IT departments. So In my HTML I have: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" /> <title>My Page</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="default.css" />  </head> <body> <img src="media/logo.png"/> </body> Then my ie6.css consists simply of: img { filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(...); } However none of this makes the slightest difference, no transparency. I commented out all the rest of the page so it is literally that one and still no luck. I removed the default.css stylesheet and still no difference. EDIT: I now got it working, using the .htc method, loading that file in a conditional IE6 test block. It turned out the problem I was having was that Windows 7 had 'locked' the file (I don't even know what this means) and this blocked IE from loading/using it.

DOM manipulation in PHP

Hello everyone, Im trying to use the DOM in PHP to do a pretty specific job and Ive got no luck so far, the objective is to take a string of HTML from a Wordpress blog post (from the DB, this is a wordpress plugin). And then out of that HTML replace <div id="do_not_edit">old content</div>" with <div id="do_not_edit">new content</div>" in its place. Saving anything above and below that div in its structure. Then save the HTML back into the DB, should be simple really, I have read that a regex wouldnt be the right way to go here so Ive turned to the DOM instead. The problem is I just cant get it to work, cant extract the div or anything. Help me!! What is the correct high level schema.org microdata itemtype for a retail brand/company homepage?

I'd like to hear which schema.org itemtype others would recommend using or have used in the case of completing a retail brand's company homepage microdata. Take for example TOMS's shoes: Example #1 - Using /Corporation as the high-level itemtype one can include a lot of great /Organization microdata, but nothing about the retail store. <html itemscope='itemscope' itemtype="http://schema.org/Website> <head></head> <body itemscope='itemscope' itemtype="http://schema.org/Corporation> various microdata here probably including Product microdata </body> </html> NOTE: the only schema.org property specific to /Corporation is tickerSymbol & TOMS doesn't have one. Example #2 - This code would work if TOMS started their own channel of physical retail stores & each location had it's own homepage. JQuery AJAX returned too much data that I had not requested

Hi all, I am using CakePHP 1.26 and CDN JQuery in this URL: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js In a HTML web page, I have these lines of code: $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "http://mywebsite.com/controllers/avail/"+curl, success: function(data) { alert(data);} }); and in the PHP page, I got another few lines of code: function avail($uname){ $result1=$this->Site1->User->findByusername($uname); if($result1){ return 1; } else{ return 0; } } As you see, the Avail function will return either zero or one. How to pass dynamic values using MVC AJax.BeginForm

I'm using MVC and AJax.BeginForm to do some ajax updating of my page. The BeginForm code looks something like: using (Ajax.BeginForm("HandleCrop", "Card", new { accept = true, id = Model.ImageUpload.ID, file = Model.ImageUpload.File, imageCropX = Model.CropInfo.X, imageCropY = Model.CropInfo.Y, imageCropWidth = Model.CropInfo.Width, imageCropHeight = Model.CropInfo.Height }, new AjaxOptions { HttpMethod = "POST", OnComplete = "ConfirmCompleted", OnSuccess = "ReloadUpload", OnFailure = "Failure" }, null)) The Model.CropInfo is being put in as hidden fields like so: <%=Html.HiddenFor(m => m.CropInfo.X) %> <%=Html.HiddenFor(m => m.CropInfo.Y) %> <%=Html.HiddenFor(m => m.CropInfo.Width) %> <%=Html.HiddenFor(m => m.CropInfo.Height) %> However, these values are being dynamically modified by some client side javascript, and these values need to be posted through the Ajax call back to the server. The above code will obviously not work as the imageCrop.. parameters in the Ajax form are being filled when the page is rendered (therefore being all 0). My question is: what is the correct way to approach this situation?

need help with mvc & routes

I'm very new to MVC and I'm trying to get a new site set up using it. For SEO reasons we need to make the url of a page something like "Recruiter/4359/John_Smith" or basically {controller}/{id}/{name}. I have that working when I create the url in the code behind like so... //r is a recruiter object that is part of the results for the view r.Summary = searchResult.Summary + "... <a href=\"/Recruiter/" + r.Id + "/" + r.FirstName + "_" + r.LastName + "\">Read More</a>" But when I am using the collection of results from a search in my view and iterating through them I am trying to create another link to the same page doing something like <%=Html.ActionLink<RecruiterController>(x => x.Detail((int)r.Id), r.RecruiterName)%> but that doesn't work. When I use that code in the view it gives me a url in the form of /Recruiter/Detail/4359 I was told by a coworker that I should use the Html.ActionLink to create the link in both the view and the controller so that if the route changes in the future it will automatically work. Unfortunately he wasn't sure how to do that in this case. So, my problems are... How can I make the Html.ActionLink work in the view to create a url like I need (like r.Summary above)? How do I use the Html.ActionLink in a controller instead of hardcoding the link like I have above?

making clean page via page.tpl.php

I have a Drupal module creating a page via hook_menu(). I am trying to make it so the page has no extraneous html output, only what I want. You can view the page here, http://www.thomashansen.me/chat/thomas. If you look at the source, you can see a strange script tag at the end. Debugging Post Request with Chrome Dev Tools

I am trying to use Chrome Dev for debugging the following Angular post request : $http.post("http://picjboss.puma.lan:8880/fluxpousse/api/flow/createOrUpdateHeader", flowHeader) After running the statement with right-click / evaluate, I can see the post in the network panel with a pending state. How can I get the result or "commit" the request and leave easily this "pending" state from the dev console ? I am not yet very familiar with JS callbacks, some code is expected. Thanks. Another IE jQuery AJAX/post problem..

OK so i have this website, http://www.leinstein.dk. You will see "Hello World!" This is from ok.php, ive made a script that refreshes ok.php after 10 seconds. Anyways, This does not show in IE. I dont know why, and i hope you can help me out. In my app I have tutor and student as roles of user. And I decide that main page for both will be the same. But menu will be different for tutors and users. I made to .xhtml page tutorMenu.xhtml and student.xhtml. And want in dependecy from role include menu. For whole page I use layout and just in every page change content "content part" in ui:composition.
