    Bottle can use several webservers: Build-in HTTP development server and support for paste, fapws3, flup, cherrypy or any other WSGI capable server. I am using bottle for a desktop-app and I guess that the development server is enough in this case. I would like to know if some of you have experience with one of the alternative server.     Hey everybody, I just recorded some song and cut it into two parts. The first part contains an intro and the second is supposed to loop. What I want to do now, is to have a simple graphical animation (5 keyframes or so) that loops as well, while the music plays along. There's probably a simple solution to it, when you're familiar with AS. Unfortunately this is the first thing I've ever tried to do with Flash. I'm using Flash CS4. Greetings

  • Superfish drop down menu, how to fix z-index in ie6 and ie7?

    I am using the superfish plugin for jquery here: clicky it works fine in all modern browsers FF,Safari, Chrome, IE8 but it seems like the z-index is not working in ie6 and 7 you can see the menu is appearing, but being cut off by the elements below it. I have tried adding a z-index everywhere I can think of but nothing seems to fix this. How can I fix this? Thanks!!!

When I try to copy paste the line in command prompt, it works perfectly. When i click on the button the MAIN.class of the jar is called and program is running in independent window(JFrame).     I am having an undesired effect when I drag a div from a container div which is set as overflow: scroll. I have found an example of someone else where they have had the issue but I have been unable to find a resolution Example on Paste bin What happens is that the scroll is just increased, I can see why this would be the desired behaviour if you wanted to drag to a destination within the scrollable div but I want to be able to take it outside of its scrolling grasp.     hello .. i have the same code as wx Doodle pad in the wx demos i added a tool to paste images from the clipboard to the pad. using wx.DrawBitmap() function , but whenever i refresh the buffer .and call funtions ( drawSavedLines and drawSavedBitmap) it keeps putting bitmap above line no matter what i did even if i called draw bitmap first and then draw lines . is there anyway to put a line above the bitmap ? please inform me if i miss anything thanx in advance

  • Mix of Arabic and English causes problems in JTextArea (Java)

    I have a JTextArea which displays HTML of an Arabic web page. So it's essentially a mix of English and Arabic. In the JTextArea, with columns set to 30, certain text just disappears instead of wrapping properly. The weird thing is that if I copy the invisible text and paste it into Notepad, then I can see it in Notepad. If I change the number of columns to 40, everything displays fine. Any ideas?

  • Python: Script works, but seems to deadlock after some time

    I have the following script, which is working for the most part Link to PasteBin The script's job is to start a number of threads which in turn each start a subprocess with Popen. The output from each subprocess is as follows: 1 2 3 . . . n Done Bascially the subprocess is transferring 10M records from tables in one database to different tables in another db with a lot of data massaging/manipulation in between because of the different schemas. If the subprocess fails at any time in it's execution (bad records, duplicate primary keys, etc), or it completes successfully, it will output "Done\n". If there are no more records to select against for transfer then it will output "NO DATA\n" My intent was to create my script "tableTransfer.py" which would spawn a number of these processes, read their output, and in turn output information such as number of updates completed, time remaining, time elapsed, and number of transfers per second. I started running the process last night and checked in this morning to see it had deadlocked. There were not subprocceses running, there are still records to be updated, and the script had not exited. It was simply sitting there, no longer outputting the current information because no subprocces were running to update the total number complete which is what controls updates to the output. This is running on OS X. I am looking for three things: I would like to get rid of the possibility of this deadlock occurring so I don't need to check in on it as frequently. Is there some issue with locking? Am I doing this in a bad way (gThreading variable to control looping of spawning additional thread... etc.) I would appreciate some suggestions for improving my overall methodology. How should I handle ctrl-c exit? Right now I need to kill the process, but assume I should be able to use the signal module or other to catch the signal and kill the threads, is that right? I am not sure whether I should be pasting my entire script here, since I usually just paste snippets. Let me know if I should paste it here as well.

    Posting a video on tumblr.com allows you to just paste the URL of the video on youtube, vimeo, whatever and tumblr automatically does the embedding for you. I assume that this would be nothing more than a mapping between an URL-regex and the belonging HTML construct for embedding the video. Or it is just parsing the response of the URL and getting the construct from there. Is there already any utility, preferably in Java, for doing this? If not, how would you do it?

I'm particularly interested in the security of XML files... if I have copyrighted data in an XML document in my resource directory, how likely is it for someone to extract that information and paste it around the internet?
