• Openstack keystone issue

  i am having an issue with keystone,keystone is configured with users nova,glance and admin user and their endpoints are also defined. when performing keystone token-get it is showing token,but for commands like keystone user-list its showing No handlers could be found for logger "keystoneclient.client" Unable to communicate with identity service: 404 Not Found The resource could not be found. . (HTTP 404) but after setting these env variables it worked export SERVICE_ENDPOINT=http://192.168.10.15:35357/v2.0 export SERVICE_TOKEN=token but after that for keystone token-get its showing 'Client' object has no attribute 'service_catalog' Why is it so?How can it be fixed any ideas

And another issue is the checkboxes. If i dont pick anything, it inserts "Y", even if i pick the other "N" it does "Y", and i dont want it to be possible that you can check both of them. how do i do?

• How can I programmatically read a Adobe DRM'd Epub?

  I am writing an ebook reader that supports the epub format (i have the parsing of open epub working), but I would like to support the reading of Adobe DRM locked epubs. I have read through the Adobe digital editions site (faq and support pages) and googled, but alas as yet I have not found any docs on the API to: authorise the PC using the user's Adobe ID credentials and decrypt the epub for parsing by my app. Does anyone have any pointers to docs or APIs? I would prefer APIs in Python, C++. But any API is better than nothing ;-) UPDATE1: I am writing my app on Desktops (linux, mac and windows). UPDATE2: Just to be clear, I am assuming that user has paid for the book legitimately and so does have an Adobe ID. I don't want to crack the DRM, just allow the user to read their books that they bought.

• Rails can't render polymorphic associations to XML?

  When I render XML with an :include clause for a polymorphic association I have, it doesn't work. I end up with the XML returning the object pointers instead of the actual objects, like: <posts> #<Comment:0x102ed1540>#<Comment:0x102ecaa38>#<Comment:0x102ec7fe0>#<Comment:0x102ec3cd8> </posts> Yet as_json works! When I render JSON with :include clause, the associations are rendered correctly and I get something like: posts":[ {"type":"Comment","created_at":"2010-04-20T23:02:30-07:00","id":7,"content":"fourth comment"}, {"type":"Comment","created_at":"2010-04-20T23:02:26-07:00","id":6,"content":"third comment"}] My current workaround is using XML builder, but I'm not too comfortable with that in the long run. Does anyone happen to know about this issue? I'm kind of in a catch-22 because while XML doesn't render the associations, as_json doesn't render in a kosher json format (returns an array rather than a list of hashes as proper json should) and the deserializer I'm using on the client side would require modification to parse the json correctly.

When I type in the url http://my.site.com/templates#template-8 safari jumps down the page as expected. However when linking as below the anchor does nothing.   Is there a way to reverse the SQL Like operator so it searches a field backwards? For example, I have a value in a field that looks like this "Xbox 360 Video Game". If I write a query like below, it returns the result fine. SELECT id FROM table WHERE title like "%Xbox%Game%" However, when I search like this, it doesn't find any results. SELECT id FROM table WHERE title like "%Video%Xbox%" I need it to match in any direction. How can I get around this?

• .NET JIT Code Cache leaking?

  We have a server component written in .Net 3.5. It runs as service on a Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition. It works great but after some time (days) we notice massive slowdowns and an increased working set. We expected some kind of memory leak and used WinDBG/SOS to analyze dumps of the process. Unfortunately the GC Heap doesn’t show any leak but we noticed that the JIT code heap has grown from 8MB after the start to more than 1GB after a few days. We don’t use any dynamic code generation techniques by our own. We use Linq2SQL which is known for dynamic code generation but we don’t know if it can cause such a problem. The main question is if there is any technique to analyze the dump and check where all this Host Code Heap blocks that are shown in the WinDBG dumps come from? [Update] In the mean time we did some more analysis and had Linq2SQL as probable suspect, especially since we do not use precompiled queries.   I'm trying to make a radio group specifying a bunch of options, and an extra option "other" with a text input to specify. The code for this particular radio button I'm using is <input type='radio' name='RadioInput' value='Other' id='RadioInput_Other' /> <label for='RadioInput_Other'>Ohter: <input type='text' name='RadioInput_Other_Value' id='RadioInput_Other_Value' value='' /> </label> The idea is that if you give focus to the text input, the radio button corresponding to it is selected. The code above almost does this (since the text input is inside the label). However, it also shifts focus to the radio button (which is annoying, since whatever you type next is lost). Is there any way to prevent this using XHTML1.0 / CSS2? Preferably without using javascript.

• How do I use long names to refer to Group Managed Service Accounts (gMSA)?

  Commonly domain user accounts are used as service accounts. With domain user accounts, the username can easily be as long as 64 characters as long as the User Principal Name (UPN) is used to refer to the account, eg [email protected]. If you still use the legacy pre-Windows 2000 names (SAM) you have to truncate it to ~20 characters, eg mydomain\truncname. When using the New-ADServiceAccount PowerShell cmdlet to create a new Group Managed Service Account (gMSA) and a name longer than 15 characters is specified, an error is returned. To specify a longer name, the SAM name must be specified separately, eg: New-ADServiceAccount -Name longname -SamAccountName truncname ... To configure a service to run as the new gMSA, I can use the legacy username format mydomain\truncname$ but using usernames with a maximum of 15 characters in 2013 is a smell. How do I refer to a gMSA using the UPN-style format instead? I tried the longname$@domainfqdn approach but that didn't work. It also seems that the gMSA object in AD doesn't have a userPrincipalName attribute value specified.
