    how can I modify the embedded photo gallery slideshow from Google's Picasa to auto repeat the pictures, i.e. play them over and over again?     I am trying to process 114,000 rows in a dataset (populated from an oracle database). I am hitting an error at around the 600 mark - "Thread was being aborted". All I am doing is reading the dataset, and I still hit the issue. Is this too much data for a dataset? It seems to load into the dataset ok though.     Hi, I'm trying to install wordpress on a Windows IIS server. I've extracted the wordpress file to a path like the following: www.domain.com/home I've setup the mysql database and configured the necessary wp-config.php. All is good so far. When I open the install php at: http://www.domain.com/home/wp-admin/install.php The page looks for its stylesheet at: http://www.domain.com/wp-admin/css/install.css That is wrong, it should look for the stylesheet at: http://www.domain.com/home/wp-admin/css/install.css I'm guessing the problem is with IIS but I have no clue how to tackle it and google did not help so far. I hope someone would know why this is happening. Thanks!

    I have an imageview with a default image already set from the xml, and I want to change it's image pragmatically so that the new image will scale to the previous image size, both of the images are rounded. I have tried setting the scaleType attribute to different values before setting the new image but it didn't work.   • PHP, MySQL: Display only required parts of my website in sister website

    Hi all, Now I have my website built on PHP & Mysql. Consider this like a forum. Now when a user posts a reply in my website 1 (ex. www.website1.com), I want to be able to show the starting thread and it's related replies in a sister website of mine. I want to do this in a way that it does not show the rest of the page & other page contents (like logo etc.). I don't think iframe would be a solution because an iframe would embed the whole page and the users visiting my sister website (totally different domain i.e. www.website2.com) would be able to see all the page contents, like logo etc. I want to avoid that. I want to make them see only limited information from website 1 and only the info. that I intend. I hope that makes sense. In a way, you could say that I am trying to replicate my 1 website, and show only a limited part of it. Users browsing 2nd website can post a reply in the 2nd website and it should automatically be posted & visible to the visitors of the website 1. Users of website 1 should not know that a user of website 2 has posted it. They would feel that some user from website 1 has posted it. Do I have to use 2 separate mysql DB or just 1? I think it would be problematic if I am trying to use different DB. I also feel I might have to face DB connectivity issues as I can connect to only 1 DB at a time. It's basically like users of website1.com should feel that they are replying to users of website1.com & users of website2.com should feel that they are replying to users of website2.com. (I need it this way to bridge the gap between them). At the same time I want to make the front end of the websites different so that they don't feel that they are replying to some other users outside the domain. These websites would be under my control and I will have access to the source code at any time. If I need to change the source code, these changes are welcome. Is this really possible?   • Images in IFRAME no longer showing after I log out of Flickr?

    I have a iframe window which displays user's flickr images. I use the flickr.photos.search api to download the user's image from flickr. This works great when the user is logged into flickr. But when I explicitly log off the user from flickr and the yahoo network and then attempt to download the flickr images, I get redirected to www.yahoo.com in a full browser window (not in my iframe). If I remember correctly, I did not have this issue when I was not using iframes and I was being redirected to the yahoo login screen. Any suggestions? To elaborate, this URI - http://www.flickr.com/services/api/auth.howto.web.html, lists the below step - Create an auth handler When users follow your login url, they are directed to a page on flickr.com which asks them if they want to authorize your application. This page displays your application title and description along with the logo, if you uploaded one. When the user accepts the request, they are sent back to the Callback URL you defined in step 2. The URL will have a frob parameter added to it. For example, if your Callback URL was http://test.com/auth.php then the user might be redirected to http://test.com/auth.php?frob=185-837403740 (The frob value in this example is '185-837403740'). This does not happen when I am in my iframe window but it does happen in my full browser window.

    I'm trying to setup a new computer to synchronize with my SVN repository that's hosted with cvsdude.com. I get this error: Here's what I did (these have worked in the past): Downloaded and installed TortoiseSVN Created a new folder C:\aspwebsite Right-clicked, chose SVN Checkout... Entered the following information, clicked OK: URL of repository: https://<reponame>-svn.cvsdude.com/aspwebsite Checkout directory: C:\aspwebsite Checkout depth: Fully recursive Omit externals: Unchecked Revision: HEAD revision Got TortoiseSVN error: OPTIONS of 'https://<reponame>-svn.cvsdude.com/aspwebsite': could not connect to server (https://<reponame>-svn.cvsdude.com) Rather than getting the error, TortoiseSVN should have asked for my username and password and then downloaded about 90MB. Having that background tile image is causing the IE browser (all versions) to drag when scrolling. What can I do to keep that tiled style but not have it slow down IE. background-image: url(http://blog.pmverge.com/assets/images/background.gif) NOTES Yes this is the Stackoverflow.com engine as I'm licensing it. The background watermark image is not slowing the page down (though it has about 50k).

    Whenever I start a new game, I make a whole bunch of classes that extend my base classes, so: com.blah.Game extends com.iainlobb.Game and has some setup code com.blah.Player extends com.iainlobb.Player, and has some setup code etc Now all I need is a way to generate these classes at the start of the project so I don't have to create each one manually. It will save me at least an hour of faffing around per game. So how do I do it? I normally use FlashDevelop but I also have FlexBuilder 3, or I'm happy to download whatever other software I need (PC). Thanks.
