• Inviting friends in facebook application

  I have a facebook application that is published at facebook platform and i used facebook API to invite friends and i have succeeded in creating invitation form but the problem is that when u invite friend and send invitation and the invitation request sent to the user and the user accept it this friend appears again in the friend list that can be invited again For example : i have friend in my friend list named X and when i send invitation to him the invitation is sent and and X accept the invitation and when i try to send invitation again the friend X appears again in the list that i can select from to send invitation this means that may i send an invitation to this user (X) and he is already playing the game i need to know how to fix this problem so friends appear in the friend list (for invitation )only friends that not use the application. My application at the following link My Game application visit it and see the problem exactly after inviting friends they will appear again is this normal in any game application? thanks in advance for any reply

• Loading contents of TableView Controller after showing Tab

  Hello, I have a 4 tabbar application. The second tab has a tableviewController. When i select the second tab the tableview is displayed with it's contents and it works fine. The problem is that that data is comming from the network and it talks 2-3 seconds to load. So when i press the second tab it goes there after the contents have been loaded. How can i show an empty tableview (i'll put an activity indicator) and then load and show the contents? Teo

• Has anyone noticed that a WPF file dialog will pass through a click to the UI when double clicking t

  I have some buttons on my WPF UI and I also need to choose files from time to time. I kept noticing strange problems where when I double-click an item in the file dialog, a button on the main UI would also get clicked. After experimenting, it seems that if you line up an item in the file dialog with a button behind it on the main UI and double click to select the file, it will single-click the button behind it as well. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just a freak bug with the way I have my UI laid out?

Currently my table is hosting in Postgres 7, on a single 16G memory Box, and I would love to see some good suggestion for me to host this in low cost and also allow me to scale up for performance if needed. • Expand in linq not loading inner data collections from service.

  I am seeing odd behavior with service queries! I am using MVVM pattern for a silverlight 3 app on 3.5 framework and Dataservices 1.5. The following code eager loads correctly the parent object and the child heirarchy perfectly IF and ONLY IF I am preloading the data. But I would like to fetch a different set of the parent object (and its child heirarchy) on different button clicks. What I am seeing is that on button click, only the parent object is retrieved, and the child heirarchy contains nothing. Any suggestions? Any ideas how to tackle this? Thanks all. • Device Emulator Mananger and ActiveSync

  I use Device Emulator Manager to fire up my Windows Mobile 5 Emulator. I then right click on the device (in the Device Emulator Manager list) and select cradle. ActiveSync then ties to connect. After a few seconds I get this message: Then if I open up the connection options and press connect: Then it works just fine. So, my question is, how can I get it to connect every time. Right as I cradle. I do this enough times that it is annoying to have the extra step. Has anyone ever been able to figure this out? (Does anyone have this problem too?) FYI My co-workers have the same issue Connecting a real device does not have this issue (It is just when I use an emulator)

  I am trying to create a simple app that displays a list of items with check boxes next to each item, then give the user to simply check each box. Nothing (aside from the checkbox image switching) needs to happen when the check box is touched. Each checklist is a seperate NSDictionary contained in a single master NSDictionary. The checklist dictionary contains arrays for different sections of each checklist. At the top of the view, the user selects which set (dictionary) of checklists they want to open then I want that checklist to display underneath the picker once a "select checklist" button is pressed. Any ideas on the best way to get this done?

  I understand how to make a dropdown list. I understand how to make conditional formatting change the color of a cell. What I do not understand is how to make conditional formatting change the color of a cell based solely on the state of another cell (not a comparison). A1 is a No / Yes dropdown list B1 is a criteria statement If the user satisfies the criteria statement in B1, they select Yes on the dropdown list in A1. For quick reference, if possible, I'd like B1 to change to a green background color on this event... and of course change back to no-fill if the dropdown is reset to No. Is this possible in Excel 2003 and/or 2007?

Everything is working fine except that I do not see the folder that I am currently working on under CFbuilder /Navigator or CFbuilder /Prject/Build Working Set/. Even if I try to add "Prject/Build Working Set/Select working set/New" its not working. I want to add a "Working Set" so that it can show on my CFbuilder/Navigator on the right side.   Hello I have a problem with dropdowllist ddl1 that is inside of insertitem of listview. I populate it from table on page load. In Page_load I have: if (!Page.IsPostBack) { ListView1.DataBind(); InsDropDownList3.DataSource = GetAllPlayersName(); InsDropDownList3.DataBind(); } DropDownList ddl1 = (DropDownList)ListView1.InsertItem.FindControl("InsDropDownList1"); if (ddl1 != null) { DataTable t = GetAllPlayersName(); ddl1.DataSource = t; ddl1.DataBind(); } When I select a row in listview or edit it data from dropdownlist in insertitem row disappears - list became empty until I close page and open again. There is another InsDropDownList3 outside of listview and there is no problem with this one. Why one is loosing data and the other one not? As I understand ddl1 should even get data every time page loads.

  I have a table with a field value which is a varchar(255). The contents of the field can be quite varied: $1.20 $2994 $56 + tax (This one can be ignored or truncated to $56 if necessary) I have a query constructed: SELECT value FROM unnamed_table ORDER BY value However, this of course uses ASCII string comparison to order the results and does not use any numerical type of comparison. Is there a way to truly order by value without changing the field type to DECIMAL or something else? In other words, can the value field be modified ('$' removed, value converted to decimal) on the fly before the results are sorted?

I have a button in the parent document that says "Delete selected", and I'd like to be able to click this button and populate a hidden field in my parent page with the values of the selected checkboxes in the child iframe. My checkboxes look like this: <input id="Checkbox1" type="checkbox" value="47" title="Select this row" name="selectItem"/> I have an instance of jquery on my parent page so I can make use of jquery selectors, I just have no clue as to the syntax needed to do this.
