  • Are duplicate directives in php.ini going to cause an issue?

    I sent a request to ops today to update some php.ini directives, and found out that he merely appended them to the end of the file. My google search didn't really come up with any info on whether this is a problem or not to have duplicates in there and how they would be parsed. Obviously, it can cause confusion, but, I would have a stronger argument if I knew if this was acceptable or not. Any input? Thanks in advance...

    i am using the api twitterizer2 downloaded from http://code.google.com/p/twitterizer/downloads/list but when i try to get the friends of a user i get 100 friends but i cant get the next 100 friends thru NEXTpage function how to handle this...? I'm trying to ressurrect UnderC C/C++ interpreter https://code.google.com/p/underc-fltk/ and I got it to compile with modern mingw compilers 3.4.5 and up, I need some experts advice on some topics: -Yacc/Bison grammar (example some problems with recognizing "unsigned" alone and "friend class") -ARM assembler only one function to call native os functions (X86 already there for windows and linux) -General improvements I expect it to work on WINCE, IPHONE, SYMBIAN in the near future.     I can compile DLLs properly using mingw and do the exports/imports stuff. What I am looking for is defining the dll onload function properly as you would in MS VC products. Google didn't turn up anything. Anyone have any ideas or a link to a tutorial? It was suggested that this code snippet be added to the question: extern "C" DLL_EXPORT BOOL APIENTRY DllMain(HINSTANCE hinstDLL, DWORD Reason, LPVOID LPV) And yes, this is what I am trying to do, but with mingw.

    I wondered how I could exclude posts in Wordpress. E.g. I have a string $exclude_ids (= "4,5,6") or (="-4,-5,-6") and I would like to prevent these posts from showing up. How would I do that? I already tried: query_posts('p=' . $exclude_ids); but that didn't really work out and I didn't really find any information regarding this topic on google. Cheers

    I tried http://code.google.com/p/feed-reader-lib but holy cow, talk about difficult to build. It has a nightmare of dependencies on Xerces and Xalan, both of which seem to be choking under the new VisualStudio 2010 C++ compiler. I've wasted hours trying to build this thing which is a shame. Does anyone have anything a little easier to hit the ground running with?

    I am using AppleScript to close windows in Google Sketchup as follows: $ osascript -e 'tell application "SketchUp" to close window 1' When I close the window, the program prompts me to save, and there is a dialog box with buttons "Don't Save", "Cancel", and "Save...". How do I make my script click on the "Don't Save" button in this situation? Also, if there is a better way of closing the window, I'm all ears.

    i'm looking for a js engine to that I can (easily) expose C/C++ functions, classes etc. The API should allow changing exposed values from within C++ (by storing some kind of pointer or reference to an object inside js or so...). I've considered using google's v8 but I'm new to it and don't know whether it will satisfy my requirements. Can someone tell me whether I should stick to v8 or try something else?

  • UIScrollView map with pins that stay at a fixed size?

    Hi, In my app, I have a ScrollView that shows a map(just a jpeg). On top of the ScrollView, I added some pins(UIImageView) So far so good. But when I zoom in, the pins also get larger. I would like the pins to stay at a fixed size, just like the pins on the google map application on the iPhone. How do I solve this? Thanks!

When looking on google/stackoverflow the most frequent API seems to be iText but that's under the AGPL licence and thus not desirable for my purposes. I also frequently see apache pdfbox but that does not seem to have native support for tables (although a slightly hacky way was posted at Apache PDFBox Java library - Is there an API for creating tables? ) Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Hi, I would like to bypass firefox anti-phishing support programatically. Not by disabling its safebrowsing option either manually or programmatically. Actually, when firefox loads a document, it makes a call to google to determine whether the requested site is phish or not. If I get when this happens, I can bypass it. Meaning that I would not allow firefox to show its error page. Can anyone show me the way? -Abhay
