    I want to redirect from a old url which still appears in the google search to the new one. the old url is this: http://www.marionettecolla.org/file%20_mostra_milano/mostra_marionette-milano.htm and I want to redirect it to the home page: http://www.marionettecolla.org/ I used this in my .htaccess: Redirect http://marionettecolla.org/file\ _mostra_milano/mostra_marionette-milano.htm http://marionettecolla.org/ but I am getting Error 500... Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

    Is it possible to make GNU Emacs 24 dim unfocused windows a bit? For example, I can set my rxvt-unicode clients to become darker when their windows don't have focus with this string in ~/.Xdefaults: URxvt*fading: 50 It greatly reduces discomfort when you have a lot of terminal windows on 2+ monitors.     Hi, i want to get the domain extention (at least i hope it is called this way) from the site name the user is currently on. so from www.bbc.co.uk it's co.uk and www.google.com = .com http://stackoverflow.com/questions/ask = .com etc. especially the ones with the double name (like co.uk) gives me headaches.... EDIT as i understand from the comments, co.uk is not a top level domain? that makes life easier! EDIT new name (top level domain) in the title

    Hi, I want to use git as a local repository against a remote SVN repository. I installed version 1.6.0.2 from http://code.google.com/p/msysgit/downloads/list. According to the documentation synchronization is done via the command git svn or a separate command wrapper called git-svn Neither of them is available in my installation and I could not find a separate download for Windows binaries. I'm currenty using the MSYS build. Must I switch to cygwin?
