    I have to make a list of all possible permurations of 4characters A-Z,a-z,0-9 and conbination of all this.How can i pass thru all of the possible combinations and printf them ? what's it for:I need to make this in a html document that i can then print and give all this as random unique usernames for our university, so that students can provide feedback based on one unique id that will be invalidated when used. i can not change this procedure into a better one!

Very simplified, the problem was this: def f(): return 2 2 == f I forgot to write the parenthesis in the sentence, so I compared a pointer function with a number. Ok, my question: Is there any way to change the interpreter to be more stricted with the code? Show more warnings for example... Thanks ^^

    I am considering upgrading my work computer to use windows 8 as the new file transferring feature seems very useful. Unfortunately after installing windows 8 on my home pc to test it out, the files are being transferred in separate dialogs as opposed to this image provided by microsoft. As I am transferring files constantly a single transfer dialog would make things much less confusing. Does anyone know what settings to change to make file transfers appear in the same window?

  • [MSVC++] Breakpoints on a variable changing value?

    I'm chasing a bug where a member value of an object seems to magically change, without any methods being called which modify it. No doubt something obvious but proving hard to track down. I know I can put conditional break-points in methods based on the variable value, but is it in any way possible to actually put a breakpoint on a variable itself? e.g a breakpoint which fires when x==4? I know I can put watches on, what about breakpoints?

  • Passing a panel widget to a function

    I have written a quite complex script which calls a server handler to refresh elements in a grid at the press of a button. For code re-use and consistent behaviour, I am wanting to call that server handler directly during the initial painting of the grid. When the server handler gets called by clicking on the button, all expected widgets are available and can be queried with e.parameter.widget etc. When I call the function directly and pass it the panel variable, the value of e is just 'AbsolutePanel'. Is there some way I can emulate the addCallbackElement way of passing the entire panel and all widgets it contains to the function? Or a way of automatically firing a server handler on script start? Please forgive any syntax errors below, I have pruned 500 lines of code down to the pertinent bits!   • empty() doesn't work with codeigniter input class

    This is really weird. Whenever I call something like if(empty($this->input->post("foo")){//blabla} The whole PHP is "down" and I get a blank page from the website (even when I don't pass through this empty(input) line). I know this is not the right method and it is stupid, I change the code to if(!$this->input->post("foo")){//blabla} Better I guess ? Seriously, how come the empty(input) breaks down the entire PHP page ? (I can't get any echo "something").

    I have a website with a jQuery UI navigation, and I've got ajax working to dynamically change content between html files. I'm basically just replacing the contents of certain div ids with the contents of other div ids. This still requires numerous HTML files and I was wondering if there was a way to have a single html file and load content into the main page from it instead? What about an xml file? Thanks for the tips and advice about best practices and possible solutions.
