  • Is it possible to move the stage in actionscript 3.0?

    Hi to keep it short and simple let's say I have a stage with 400x400 size in pixels, but I've drawn a map of 1000x1000 size in pixels. I want my player to be able to "walk" about the stage, but it appears stage.x and stage.y are read-only? Is there any method or way to have the stage "scroll" about, without having to move each object on the map? Thanks!

  • JNI - GetObjectField returns NULL

    I'm currently working on Mangler's Android implementation. I have a java class that looks like so: public class VentriloEventData { public short type; public class _pcm { public int length; public short send_type; public int rate; public byte channels; }; _pcm pcm; } The signature for my pcm object: $ javap -s -p VentriloEventData ... org.mangler.VentriloEventData$_pcm pcm; Signature: Lorg/mangler/VentriloEventData$_pcm; I am implementing a native JNI function called getevent, which will write to the fields in an instance of the VentriloEventData class. Once getevent is called, data.type is verified to be 1234 at the java side :) My problem is that the assertion "pcm != NULL" will fail. Note that pcm_field != NULL, which probably indicates that the signature to that field is correct... so there must be something wrong with my call to GetObjectField. It looks fine though if I compare it to the official JNI docs. Been bashing my head on this problem for the past 2 hours and I'm getting a little desperate.. hoping a different perspective will help me out on this one.

  • Which audio playback technology do I need for this?

    I have trouble choosing the right audio playback technology. There's a ton of technologies to use on the iPhone, it's so confusing. What I need to do is this: start playing short sounds ranging between 0.1 and 2 seconds high quality playback, no crackle (I heard some of the iPhone audio playback technologies do a crackle sound on start or end, which is bad!) ability to start playback of a sound, while there's already another one playing right now (two, three or more sounds at the same time) What would you suggest here, and why?     I need some classes for playing short wav sounds, this classes would load this wav files into memory when an instance created, play sounds in background when needed, release this wav files from memory when an instance disposed. How can I do this on C# for windows (.Net 2.0)? (Win API's sndPlaySound, OpenAL or may be any wrapper) Ideally I would love to find an exist solution that simple and able to solve my task. Do you know any solutions for this issue?

  • How to play sequence video continuously on iPhone?

    I'm trying to play two videos continuously using MPMoviePlayer. I let the second video play when the MPMoviePlayerPlaybackDidFinishNotification is posted. The problem is when the first video stops, the view will go back to the previously view for a short while before play the next video. Is there any idea about how to play video continuously or is it possible to get the image of the last frame in the first video?

    Hello all, I'm looking for a Win32 equivalent of the .Net Encoding.GetEncoding Method to be used in Delphi7. What I would like to achieve is to convert a Codepage ID (ie.: 28592) to a Codapage name (iso-8859-2 in this case). I use sqlite to gather data and want to use grid in wxHASKELL TO present data in app. Everything is all right but I want to have possibility to add rows from haskell app. I achieved that but when I refresh it It expands and covers other controls.     An odd request, I know. I want Javascript to pretend the user just pressed the backspace. That's all I really want, if you want more info: My last topic here, gives more explaination. In short: I press a key, javascript converts the key to the greek equivalent, then puts that key in instead. The problem is, when onKeyUp is activated, it starts a function which looks for combinable character pairs put together (for accents) and inserts that key.
