So the page users visit to see the connection info (meetingID, password) includes the start time of the meeting.     In the example fiddle, how can I get the total number of markers displayed on the map? I'm pushing each of the markers into an array like this: markers.push(marker) And attempting to get the total number of markers like this: $('.marker-count span').html(markers.length); Unfortunately, "markers.length" is returning 0 when it should be returning at least 3. I have example code here: http://jsfiddle.net/287C7/ How can I display the total number of markers? Is it not possible to add each marker to my array? I need to know the amount of markers shown so that I can alert the user if there are none. Thanks,

    I have three drop-down menus for each sample shirt; product, colour and grade. Not all products are available in all colours and/or grades. I would like to disable the options that are not available based on the users selection. I've tried using this answer here (using a radio select). Unfortunately, I can't get it to work with an option-selected input. This is what I'm working on - quartus.ca/select-options.html Any guidance would be appreciated.

  • jQuery Nested Droppables

    I have a nested set of jQuery droppables...one outer droppable that encompasses most of the page and an a set of nested inner droppables on the page. The functionality I want is: If a draggable is dropped outside of any of the inner droppables it should be accepted by the outer droppable. If a draggable is dropped onto any of the inner droppables it should NOT be accepted by the outer droppable, regardless of whether the inner droppable accepts the draggable. So that would be easy if I could guarantee 1+ inner droppables would accept the draggable, because the greedy attribute would make sure it would only get triggered once. Unfortunately the majority of the time the inner droppable will also reject the draggable, meaning the greedy option doesn't really help. Summary: The basic functionality is a set of valid/invalid inner droppables to accept the draggable, but when you toss the draggable outside any of the draggables it gets destroyed by the outer droppable. What's the best way of doing this?

    Hi, I'm trying to make a jquery tooltip that appears when a user mouses over a link. In my case the link is using display:block style so that it covers a large area. It works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox but in Internet Explorer it doesn't work at all. The tooltip doesn't show, the browsers own tooltip shows etc...     I am working with jquery sliding tabs. I have found a resize plugin that helps the tabs adjust to expanding content. The only thing is that i want to set a permanent height to tab 1(st_content_1). The code i have below works but it is a bit faulty. Should place in the function if statements? Check for the height of the first tab and then set it? Or a any better solution? You can check my EXAMPLE. But on subsequent clicks the window/tab is loaded but remains hidden. The reason is that when i do find on the table elements its actually retrieving the children table elements. Can some one pls help. I want a two column table..     I am new to HTML so this question might sound a bit lame. Anyways I have a saved webpage on my desktop that when i open it in google chrome i want it to show a specific URL instead of its current location. Any ideas how i might get this to work? I tried using the history.pushState but i have no idea why it is not working.   • serializeArray doesn't include submit-button value

    Hi, I got two submit buttons in a form. One that deletes the post, and one to edit it. I want to display a fancybox with either the edit-form or a message saying that the user deleted the post. It's all decided by which button was pushed, with a "if(isset)"-sentence in edit.php. However I can't figure out how to get the value of the button within the serializeArray..   • Select photo while keep the order

    I have a list of photo on the page, each have an unique id, user can click on them to toggle select the photo, when they click the submit button, I need to send the array of selected photo ids to the back end, in the order that the photo was selected. I think that the fastest way to track if a photo is selected is to use an object that use photo id as key, like: var selected = { "6272861": true, "6272888": true } when the user unselect a photo, I just need to delete selected["6272861"]. But this will ignore the order, if I use an array to keep the selected photos: var selected = ["6272861", "6272888"]; then when I need to unselect a photo, I have to loop through the array and delete the item. Is there better ways? thanks.
