  • How to call wordpress functions in custom php script

    I have a Php script I want to use for creating a new blog in WPMU. I am having trouble calling wordpress functions like "wpmu_create_user" and "wpmu_create_blog". My hope is to get this script running as a cron job from command line and pick up new blog creation requests from an external db, create a new blog using the wordpress functions and update the db with new blog info. Any help/suggestions are highly appreciated. Sid.

    I had done Edge detection using wavelet transform using thus steps changing the image to Gray scale decomposing the image using dwt2(discrete wavelet transform,Haar wavelet filter ) in to horizontal,vertical,diagonal and approximation(detail) further decomposing the horizontal part threshold (global threshold like canny Edge detection ) i got the edge but i got a problem while locating the edge to complete image to mean recovering original image using only the Edges so i need help concerning this either in concept ,mat lab code or references I hope i will get your help soon

    Hi Guys, I need to work out a period of 6 months (backwards) from a given date. Example date: 07/06/2010 00:00:00 needs to count back 6 months and display: 07/12/2009 00:00:00 I have been scanning through: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/date-and-time-functions.html and non of these functions make sense to me :( Hope this makes sense and any help would be appriciated.     It seemed a trivial matter at the beginning but so far I have not managed to get the unique identifier for a given resource using SPARQL. What I mean is given, e.g., rdf:Description rdf:about="http://..." and then some properties identifying this resource, what I want to do is to first find this very resource and then retrieve all the triples given some URI. I have tried naïve approaches by writing statements in a WHERE clause such as: ?x rdf:about ?y and ?x rdfs:about ?y I hope I am being precise.

  • Find location using only distance and bearing?

    Triangulation works by checking your angle to three KNOWN targets. "I know the that's the Lighthouse of Alexandria, it's located here (X,Y) on a map, and it's to my right at 90 degrees." Repeat 2 more times for different targets and angles. Trilateration works by checking your distance from three KNOWN targets. "I know the that's the Lighthouse of Alexandria, it's located here (X,Y) on a map, and I'm 100 meters away from that." Repeat 2 more times for different targets and ranges. But both of those methods rely on knowing WHAT you're looking at. Say you're in a forest and you can't differentiate between trees, but you know where key trees are. These trees have been hand picked as "landmarks." You have a robot moving through that forest slowly. Do you know of any ways to determine location based solely off of angle and range, exploiting geometry between landmarks? Note, you will see other trees as well, so you won't know which trees are key trees. Ignore the fact that a target may be occluded. Our pre-algorithm takes care of that. 1) If this exists, what's it called? I can't find anything. 2) What do you think the odds are of having two identical location 'hits?' I imagine it's fairly rare. 3) If there are two identical location 'hits,' how can I determine my exact location after I move the robot next. (I assume the chances of having 2 occurrences of EXACT angles in a row, after I reposition the robot, would be statistically impossible, barring a forest growing in rows like corn). Would I just calculate the position again and hope for the best? Or would I somehow incorporate my previous position estimate into my next guess? If this exists, I'd like to read about it, and if not, develop it as a side project. I just don't have time to reinvent the wheel right now, nor have the time to implement this from scratch. So if it doesn't exist, I'll have to figure out another way to localize the robot since that's not the aim of this research, if it does, lets hope it's semi-easy.

Is it possible to turn off MySQL query cache explicitly in those programs while keep it enabled for other parts including all views.py?

    I've happily implemented v2 of Google maps to my site without a hitch, I also successfully perform a drive directions using GDirections.load(). What I need to do is stop the popup of the mini map when you select a particular step in the routing directions. I found an interessting flap out control from silverlight slide control and now I try to use it in my project. So that the slide out is working proper, I have to place the user control on a canvas. The user control then uses for itself the height of its content. I just wanna change that behavior so that the height is set to the available space from the parent canvas. You see the uxBorder where the height is set. How can I measure the actual height and set it to the border? I tried it with Height={Binding ElementName=notificationCanvas, Path=ActualHeight} but this dependency property has no callback, so the actualHeight is never set.
