• Windows 7: How to disable auto-maximize/resize window (aero-snap) when near screen edge?

  Whenever I drag or resize a window near any edge or corner of either monitor, Windows wants to maximize or resize the window for me in several different ways: dragging a window near a corner offers resize to full-screen dragging directly to the corner offers half-screen maximize resizing to top or bottom edges offers a vertical maximize (one long strip from top to bottom) Actually, now that I think about it the 3rd one isn't so bad, its just the full and half-screen maximize features that drives me mad. Is there a registry hack to disable these settings, preferably independently?

  I have a backup copy of my previous Documents and Settings folder which only contains my original user and within that, 2 directories (Favorites and Local Settings) which are visible in cmd shell but when I try to delete them, Windows gives me this error: If I try to delete the Documents and Settings folder, I receive this warning: I tried doing this in a cmd shell: attrib *.* -r -a -s -h /s But it did not help, nor did it return any errors/warnings. Unlocker 1.8.5 returns: No Locking handle found. Any ideas?

The English keyboard layout works as expected, but for the Hungarian layout some kind of "accent combining" is activated. The effect of this ^+o becomes ô, ^+a becomes â, etc. This is not helpful at all, since the accented characters of Hungarian are already mapped to keys, but it's really annoying because I have to type a non-combining character to actually get ^.
